Den här studien handlar om konstens möjligheter i mellanmänskliga möten utifrån en öppen verksamhet kallad "Skaparkväll", som bedrivs i en mellansvensk stad inom ramen för Svenska kyrkan. Studien syftar till att få en fördjupad förståelse av några deltagares personliga upplevelser av verksamheten med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer. Purpose/aim: This study was performed in order to describe how Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is reported in Swedish daily newspapers during a five-year period. MMA is a relative new sport in Sweden and it is important that the description by the Swedish daily newspapers is accurate and balanced. Then this sport will have the same opportunities to grow as already well-established sports in Sweden. Material/Method: The material consists of 159 articles from six different daily newspapers gathered from 2006-12-07 to 2011-12-07. Quantitative content analysis is used to investigate how the newspapers describe MMA. The result from this quantitative analysis are then compiled, analysed and discussed by applying theories of agenda setting, framing and moral panic. Main results: The result shows that the Swedish daily newspapers give a relative neutral and balanced picture in their coverage of MMA but they are affected to a certain degree of moral panic.

This degree project summarizes five years of education at the landscape architecture program at the Swedish University of Agriculture Sciences, SLU, Alnarp and the School of architecture at Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Stockholm. The project has been carried out by Lovisa Berg and Per Crona in collaboration with DRIFT Scenkonst. This master project is based on the ongoing transformation of a former mining site in Ställberg, Bergslagen situated in central Sweden. The organization DRIFT is in the process of recreating to former industrial mining site as a green cultural center. Their field of artistic examination concerns existential questions connected to the site. The aim is to offer a place for both performing and experiencing contemporary performing arts in Bergslagen. Our objective is to contribute to the growth of the performing arts project and to demonstrate in concrete terms how a conversion of a mining area can be completed, while taking into account both its history and its new function.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur 11 globala miljö och/eller etiskt märkta fonder har presterat i jämfö-relse med 17 konventionella fonder i det svenska premiepensionsutbudet genom tillämpning av utvalda finansiella prestationsmått. Detta med anledning av att miljö och/eller etiskt märkta fonder har haft en stor framväxt under det senaste decenniet och det finns därför en efterfrå-gan av att klargöra ifall en pensionssparare behöver göra avkall på den finansiella avkastningen vid val av miljö och/eller etiskt märkta fonder. En jämförelse av det statliga förvalsalternativet och 10 globala miljö och/eller etiskt märkta fonder har även gjorts för att undersöka skillnaden av att vara en aktiv respektive passiv premiepensionssparare då antalet som inte gör ett aktivt val är omkring 50 procent. Resultatet visar ingen statistisk signifikant skillnad med avseende på den riskjusterade avkastningen mellan fonder som är miljö och/eller etiskt märkta och fonder som inte tar hänsyn till dessa kriterier vilket överensstämmer med tidigare forskning. I jämfö-relsen mellan det statliga förvalsalternativet och 10 globala miljö och/eller etiskt märkta fonder har det förstnämnda presterat på en hög nivå..

Arbetet handlar om att ta fram ett tapetmönster ritat för hand. Mönstret är helt unikt och gjort på fri hand från grunden, det är sedan färglagt i datorn för att blanda ny teknik med hantverk. During spring 2009 a three meter tall and laughing robot was developed in collaboration between Royal Institute of Technology and Royal University College of Fine Arts. The robots function and esthetics is based on an existing toy robot called Elmo. Elmo is 30 cm tall but now the goal was to make it 1000 times bigger in order to present it on the spring exhibition of Royal University College of Fine Arts. Due to only four months of developing and building time a demand of fast determination and good planning was required. In order to make a good structure for the project it is divided into five phases: Analysis of Elmo, planning, concept development, detail construction and finally product development and testing.In the first phase valuable knowledge is obtained according to the movements and geometry of Elmo.
