The aim of this thesis is to analyze and explain the similarities and differences in management control between a private and a public primary care company. A comparative case study was developed based on one public and one private primary care company in Stockholm County Council. The framework of Otley (1999) was used to define and limit the area of management control systems, according to his five factors. For the analysis of the empirical results Hood's (1995) seven doctrines of New Public Management was applied, and customized to fit the purpose of the study. The results indicate that the differences between the two organizations are very limited.

Nature conservation agreement (NCA) is a way to voluntarily protect and manage nature for limited time-periods. The agreement is settled between the government and a landowner. All public authorities can represent the government but it is only the Swedish Forest Administration who does that regularly (because it is the only authority with economic resources for that purpose). Therefore, NCAs are almost only used to protect forested nature. The government agencies have experienced NCAs for about ten years and it is now time to examine how they are applied in the forests. Syftet med denna uppsats är att testa olika tradingmodeller inom valutahandel, byggda på tekniska indikatorer, för att undersöka om man kan nå en positiv avkastning.Undersökningen omfattar 24 olika modeller, byggda på fyra olika tekniska indikatorer och med tre olika money management strategier. Modellerna testas på fem olika valutapar under tre månaders tid. Too much attention has been given to mainstream approaches in performance management and management accounting research, without taking in to account changes in the environment with the rapid growth of online retailing. This paper evaluates how and/or if performance management differs in online contexts by using a conceptual model developed by Ferreira et al (2009). The model and its components are tested on three multichannel- and six e-commerce businesses. The result and its analysis is commented on by two e - commerce experts. The result shows that the operation method of the models twelve components do not differ in terms of work methods in online and offline contexts.

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka hur elevdokumentation så som portfolio, individuella utvecklingsplaner samt loggböcker fungerar i praktiken och dess värde vid överlämnande samt övertagande av elever från år 6 till 7. Undersökningen är grundad på kvalitativa intervjuer genomförda i två olika kommuner med lärare i år 6 och 7 samt rektorer på två F-9 skolor. Enligt skolans styrdokument ska lärarna följa upp eleverna och möta dem där de är genom att anpassa undervisningen efter varje individuellt behov. Olika faktorer som försvårar detta kan vara för få lärare i för stora klasser. Ute på skolorna finns olika verktyg för att hjälpa lärare att uppnå detta mål, men problemet som uppstått är att olika skolor/lärare arbetar på väldigt olika sätt och att innehållet i elevdokumentationen då blir väldigt varierande och därför inte tas tillvara vid övertagandet av elever i år 7.
