Intangible feelings of sorrow and grief, caused by events like separation, death, loss and trauma, all leave some kind of traces in us and they play an important role in our development. The individualistic society here in Sweden has shaped us to keep our feelings inside and at bay; since our childhood we have learnt that showing emotions like tears, sorrow and sadness are signs of weakness and can make others and yourself feel uncomfortable. With the starting point from my own experience and understanding of how we can deal and handle grief, I take a closer look on how jewelry, objects and rituals can be of importance in a grieving process and our lack of visual outer display of grief in today?s society. Through Sara Ahmeds theory I found a new possible way of understanding emotions and how they shape us.

To reduce this figure, as needed, more research in the field of energy efficiency is required.This thesis concerns the heating of buildings. The load on district heating is heavy during certain times of the day.

Syfte: Vårt syfte är att analysera hur småföretagare kan skapa samverkan och upplevelse med mat som gemensam nämnare. För att kunna uppfylla vårt syfte har vi valt att studera ett specifikt fall, Gastronomins Trädgård, en del av det kvinnliga affärsnätverket Tankens Trädgård på Bjärehalvön.Frågeställning: Vilka hinder och möjligheter finns för småproducenter i ett affärsnätverk gällande marknadsföring? Hur kan småproducenter skapa upplevelser med mat och lokal förankring som redskap?Metod: Det empiriska tillvägagångssätt vi har valt att använda oss av är en blandad undersökningsmetod i form av observationer och kvalitativa djupintervjuer. Det empiriska materialet innefattar fem observationer och tio djupintervjuer samt en gruppintervju. I det teoretiska tillvägagångssättet har vi valt att använda oss av följande analytiska verktyg; nätverksteori och diskursteori, vilka utgör grundpelarna i uppsatsen.Analys: För att klargöra att tidigare forskning kring nätverk, marknadsföring och upplevelse inte på ett tillfredsställande sätt kan påvisa att det finns en påtaglig koppling mellan skapandet av upplevelser genom affärsnätverk, presenteras en genomgång av litteratur inom ämnena.

The project was made in cooperation with Coffee Queen AB, Arvika. The task was to develop and design a new cooler for the milk to Jura Impressa X9, an espresso machine. The good assistance with staff at Coffee Queen and engineers in China and at KPA in Karlstad led to a solution to the problem. It was a long road to get there, many different concepts was developed. When the day came to decide which concept to work with, the choice stood between two different technical solutions.

Den här studien belyser killar inom ridsporten och deras förhållningssätt till hästar och ridsport. Den utreder också hur deras introduktion i ridsporten såg ut samt hur de först kom i kontakt med den. Ridsporten är den idrott som idag engagerar flest tjejer i Sverige och den uppfattas som något feminint. Av den anledningen finner jag det intressant att studera dessa killar som går mot strömmen och faktiskt utövar en idrott som anses vara kvinnlig. Studien är en kvalitativ intervjuforskning och baseras på åtta intervjuer med enbart killar.

Vid prissättning av ett hus ingår produktionskostnaden och den utgör en stor andel av det totala priset. I produktionskostnaden ingår material, avskrivning samt löner. Kostnaden för löner är den mest svårbedömda eftersom husens storlek och arkitektur aldrig är lika. Ansvarige för offert och avtal använder sig idag av olika tillverkningsfaktorer vid beräkning och framtagning av offerter. Dessa är baserade på många års erfarenhet, där enheten antingen är timme/m2 eller timme/st beroende på vilken faktor som avses.

In Sweden, reduced tillage usually means non-inversion tillage, where primary tillage is carried out using chisel ploughs or disc implements. Primary tillage method is mainly determined by the desired soil loosening and the handling of soil residues. The effect of tillage depth was studied in field experiments in Skåne, Väderstad, Uppsala, Örebro och Västerås in different crops; spring oilseed rape, spring wheat, winter wheat and spring barley.The experiments generally had a randomized block design with the treatments mouldboard ploughing, deep chisel ploughing and shallow chisel ploughing, in some cases also shallow discing and no-tillage. In the experiments the following parameters were determined: seedbed properties, saturated hydraulic conductivity, penetration resistance, number of emerged plants and crop yield (all parameters were not determined in all experiments. Root growth and draught requirement were determined in two separate studies. There were no significant differences between tillage depths in non-inversion tillage in seedbed properties, plant emergence or root development.

I have studied the suburban municipality of Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, from a rural perspective. Through that I`ve compared how countryside comes into being with the planning and building of suburbs. I have looked for a definition of Countryside, and found that it is often explained or defined in negative terms, as what it is not. In that it says nothing about what it really is, or about the qualitiies it has to it. Botkyrka is a suburb, but it does in large parts consist of countryside. Apart from defining countryside and rural I´ve been searching for a definition of suburbia, of it´s structure and the mental picture we have of it as a cultural phenomena. In order to understand the role that suburbs have in planning I describe their history from Italian renaissance villas to sprawl. By opposing urban and rural, modern urban planning and how rural areas are created, I´ve come to a definition of rural planning and the making of countryside. To make countryside, planning and building should come from individual needs and desires. A relationship to the surroundings based on continous interaction between the human beeing and it´s environment, a constant process of shaping and reshaping. To put my thoughts to the ground I have collected examples of projects and ideas, that fits into my view of what rural planning and making countryside is all about. They are put in different categories according to the possibilities of influence and to what degree it is put into private hands. The first category is ?allemansrätten?, every mans right. That is the rigt to use private land as long as you don´t disturb or destroy.

District heating covers around 80 % of the heating demand in apartment buildings and 10 % in single-family homes in Sweden. In the year 2010 the total input of energy to the Swedish district heating grids was about 70 TWh, which corresponds to 11 % of the total energy input to the whole energy system in the country. Through the combined production of heat and power the CHP-plants often reaches an efficiency of 90 % from energy in the fuel to produced heat and power. In order to keep the efficiency high it is important for the owners of the plant to have good knowledge about the plants performance at different operation points. Strängnäs Energi AB initiated this diploma work together with FVB Sverige ab in order to come up with a program for short term planning of the production of heat and power at the company´s CHP-plant.The work consists of three main parts.

Buildings today are built to maintain a healthy indoor environment and an efficient energy usage which is probably why damages caused by dampness has increased since the 1960?s.A study between year 2008 and 2010 showed that 26 percent of the 110 000 examined houses had damages and flaws caused by dampness that could prove to be harmful later on. This means that one out of four bathrooms risk the chance to develop damages by dampness. Approximately 2 percent of the houses had already developed water damages. It is here where the problems appear.

Uppsatsen avser undersöka hur entreprenörer upplever och hanterar det ökade ledarskapskrav som ett växande företag för med sig. För att söka svar på detta har fyra frågeställningar utarbetats: Hur upplevs de ökade administrativa sysslor som följer med attföretaget växer? Minskar entreprenören inom personen på bekostnad av att ledaren/administratören inom densamme växer?Klarar entreprenören av att ta på sig de ledarroller som behöver axlas av ledaren i och med att företaget växer? Hur bör entreprenören möta det växande ledarskapskravet? Genom semistruktureradeintervjuer med fem enskilda entreprenörer verkande inom modebranschen i Göteborgsregionen har unika berättelser samlats in. Det teoretiska ramverket har delats upp i två övergripande block varvid det ena tar upp teorier rörande entreprenören medan det andra innefattar teorier rörande ledarskapskrav och den ledarskapskris som eventuellt kan uppstå. Med hjälp av dessa teorier har empirin analyserats, varvid det har framkommit att det inte finns ett entydigt tillvägagångssätt för hur det ökande ledarskapskravet har att hanteras.

The Swedish building and property management sector are responsible for about 30 % of the total energy use. In order to take environmental consideration, different environmental assessment tools and standards are used. Miljo?byggnad, Svanen, FEBY12 and PHI are some of these. There has been increased interest to certify buildings and therefore it is of interest to evaluate the assessment of the energy field to see if relevant energy aspects are assessed.

Detta arbete var beställt av Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar. Skolan ville ha en enhet som kunde mäta aktiv-, reaktiv- och skenbar effekt, ström, spänning, frekvens och cos? på en generator och som kommunicerade vidare dessa värden till en PLC. Detta för att kunna lastfördela lasten mellan ett antal generatorer i kursen Tillämpad elteknik 15 hp där studenterna bygger en generatorinstallation med tre generatorer. Ett funktionsblock för lastfördelning skulle också programmeras.

For the Swedish artist Björn Lövin, the personal was a problem. In his first exhibition in Moderna Museet, Lövin observed through the fictitious character Mr. P (for »Personality«) the ruptures in the Swedish welfare state. The exhibition Konsument i oändligheten och Herr P:s penningar (Consumer in Infinity and Mr. P?s Money) (1971) was composed of two environments, through which a veridical working class apartment and a high street with life-sized mannequins and furniture characteristic of its time, visualized the societal discrepancies in the welfare state as well as the art world of the early 1970s.
