Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

Ambitionen och målet med mitt projekt var att visualisera delar av en berättelse med hjälp av den senaste datortekniken. Detta tog sin form av en 3d-animation. Målet var inte att producera en färdig kortfilm utan att arbeta med utvalda delar. Projektet var indelat i tre block; en planerings- och researchfas, en produktionsfas och en reflektionsfas. Stora delar av magisterarbetet har bestått av att producera innehåll som sedan ska analyseras. Med arbetet vill jag att folk ska få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett flexibelt och intressant konstverktyg.

Rapporten syftar att redovisa det arbete som är involverat i skapandet av digitala karaktärer lämpade för film och reklamfilmsproduktion. Då Milford Film & Animation i synnerhet producerar reklamfilm kommer fokus i denna uppsats att ligga på denna typ av produktion. Denna rapport kommer huvudsakligen att fokusera på arbetsprocessen som helhet och förklara dess roll i sammanhanget, det vill säga skapandet av en animerad reklamfilm. Poängen är att belysa den roll den ansvariga för karaktärsutvecklingen har, med inriktning på modellering och texturering. Under min tid på Milford Film & Animation har jag handgripligen arbetat med alla de steg involverande modellering och texturering som beskrivs i uppsatsen och jag har på så sett beskaffat mig den erfarenhet inom ämnet som jag använt mig av för att komma fram till de slutsatser som beskrivs i denna rapport..

Study objects: Three different productions companies which the authors have chosen to be anonymous. Purpose: The purpose with this study is to examine why production companies choose to use 3D-animations in television commercials, and what different kind of aspects affects their decisions. Theoretical: The theoretical chapter reviews the history of 3D-animation andtelevision commercials and other fields that will be relevant laterin the analysis and discussion. Method: A case study has been made on three different companies, two of the companies are active in post-production and the other one is active in the consulting area. Data was collected through semistructured interviews with two of the companies.

I uppsatsen behandlar jag frågan: Vilka verktyg främjar en enkel väg till berättande med tekniken animation?Jag ifrågasätter idén om att man bör veta vad man ska berätta och hur historien ska vara konstruerad, innan man börjar berätta. I stället vill jag visa att förmågan till berättande finns inom oss alla, och jag vill i detta arbete prova en metod för att låta berättandet byggas upp i interaktion mellan ting, rum och människor. Mitt didaktiska syfte är att utarbeta ett pedagogiskt tänkande kring hur jag kan handleda elever till ett aktivt och kreativt skapande av berättelser genom animation.Detta har jag undersökt på två sätt. I den första undersökningen skriver jag om och analyserar mitt arbete som handledare i animation med särskoleelever på Utbildningsradions medieverkstad (UR) Pedagogiskt forum.

The current thesis is on the rule of law and how the principles of the rule of law are met in thenew Swedish migration process. The migration process has been subjected to criticism duringseveral years and on different occasions. The migrations process is viewed through a ?rightsof the child? perspective, foremost to seek if the rights of the child are met. The children are avulnerable group, not the least in the process of migration.

The object of this thesis is the foundation of ethics. The question is whether there exists a universal core to ethics consisting of a fundamental ethical principle across cultures. This principle could for example be the so-called Golden Rule, which goes as follows: ?You should do to others what you want them to do to you?. This report will give the reader a description of principles how to measure the abrasive mass flow in a waterjet cutting system. The work began with a visit to Water Jet Sweden AB to get a closer look at the problem. When the analysis of the problem was done the criteria were defined in the form of demands and desires. The main task of the criteria was to guide the search for the solution.

AbstractManagement is a field that started getting attention in the beginning of the 20th century by Frederick Taylor. His publication is called the Principles of Scientific Management and is based on the principles of using scientific methods to find the best way of conducting each operation within a production facility. Many of Taylor?s principles may appear obsolete today but the matter of an effective material flow is still highly current. Efficiency is the relationship between the input into an operation and its result.

IASB is currently working with the replacement of IAS 39 Financial Instruments: Recognition and Measurement. The new standard IFRS 9 Financial Instruments is said to be based on principles as opposed to the more rules-based IAS 39. This thesis examines the third phase of the project regarding micro hedge accounting. The expressed goal from IASB is to provide more useful hedge accounting information by reducing complexity of the standard. To examine the potential effects of the transition from the rules based IAS 39 to the more principles based IFRS 9, we have performed a case study on a major Swedish bank.

Writing has been the most important tool in knowledge organization KO. In our modern society we can use our speech as a technical tool to seek information. Can we apply speech as a tool to organize information? The aim of this masters thesis is to problemize speech aspects in the field of knowledge organization KO. The investigation has two main parts and I use a hermeneutic approach.

The work proceeded with an extensive search for abrasive flow meters along with obtaining information about flow measurement in general. When the search for abrasive flow meters resulted in nothing all the efforts were concentrated on finding a principle of measurement that could cope with the criteria.

Detta är ett examensarbete om hur man går tillväga för att skapa ett flertal animationssekvenser baserade på bildmanus och andra viktiga faser under animationsprocessens gång, som t.ex modellering. Hela examensarbetet är baserat på ett pågående serieprojekt, Desert Rose. Projektet behandlar visualisering och gestaltning av karaktärer samt överföring mellan 2D till 3D-miljö. Examensarbetet är en konceptuell animation där påhittat gränssnitt (hälsomätare, ammunition etc.), engelsk dialog, filmsekvenser och konceptuell spelbarhet förekommer.Resultatet blev en blandning mellan ett konceptuellt spel och en animationsfilm, med animatics inslag. Bildmanuset förblev en mycket viktig faktor under processen.
