In family firms altruistic effects can arise in order to preserve the ownership of the firm within the family. The family firm may chose to carry or take measures against these effects. Regardless, it will lead to different agent costs. Therefore, the aims of the study were to explain how altruistic effects in family firms exert an influence on the administrative systems and possible counter measures.In order to explain the origin of altruistic effects, we built a theory which showed that the altruistic effects were followed by agent costs. The family can take measures to counteract these original effects.

För att ta reda pÄ hur vÀl en Multi-Agent-Systems-bot kan stÄ sig mot andra, icke-MAS-bottar, sÄ har vi implementerat en bot till brÀdspelet Arimaa. Syftet har varit att skapa en fullfjÀdrad bot som bÄde klarar av att spela korrekt, och att spela bra. För att ta reda pÄ om MAS Àr en bra designfilosofi för Arimaa sÄ har vi utmanat ett antal av de bottar som andra mÀnniskor skapat och lagt upp pÄ hemsidan. AbstractBuying real estate property is a complex process for the uninitiated. Apotential buyer has to keep track of laws and regulations affecting theproperty. The purchase of a property is for many also the largest deal made inlife and because of that it is especially important to make sure everything getsdone correctly.A real estate property purchase contains a number of different elements, suchas engineering data and inspection of the property and documentation to makesure that the signing of contracts and clauses are done according to the laws ofthat country. These purchase process steps are ordinary people not familiarwith, and therefore they hire the help of a real estate agent.Buying a property abroad complicates things because the countries have theirown laws and rules that make them different from the Swedish rules which theSwedish real estate buyers are accustomed to.Our thesis is about exploring if a Swedish buyer knows the buying process inforeign countries, or whether they rely on the broker they hired. The countrieswe have chosen to examine and compare against Sweden is Spain, Thailandand Turkey.Our questions will be answered by interviewing buyers about how they feelabout their buying process, if they encountered any problems before, duringor after their purchase, and if they are happy with their purchase after theevent.Our study shows that the buying processes in all four countries are generallyequal to each other.

May Purpose of study: The aim of this study is to create an understanding of how leaders trough a Structural ethical climate can contribute to a Situation-based ethical decision-making of their employees. Method: We have used a qualitative method and conducted semi-structured interviews with respondents from real estate agent firms. When we studied our phenomenon, our overall research deign was qualitative interviews. Our data has been analyzed with an abductive method of analysis, influenced by Grounded theory. Results and conclusions: The study shows that leaders in the real estate agent-business trough a Structural ethical climate contributes to a Situation-based ethical decision-making of their employees by acting as role models, leads by example, highlighting the office values and rewards & punishes behaviors to control their employees? ethical decision making. Suggestions for further research: We believe that future studies can be conducted through observations to study both leaders and employees, to pay attention to employees? opinions and reflect on what affects them.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att ta reda pÄ hur anvÀndare pÄverkas av grÀnssnittsagenter vars personlighet inte passar ihop med det visuella intryck de ger. GrÀnssnittsagenterna bestod i den hÀr studien av en rÀv och en höna och de har testats pÄ anvÀndare i ett deklarationssammanhang. Personligheten uttrycktes genom vad agenterna sade, och detta visades pÄ datorskÀrmen i form av text i pratbubblor. Agenterna har manipulerats sÄ att de vid hÀlften av betingelserna fÄtt byta personlighet med varandra, alltsÄ att hönan har presenterats med rÀvens personlighet och tvÀrt om. En kontrollgrupp har genomfört uppgiften utan att nÄgon agent varit nÀrvarande pÄ skÀrmen.
