The revision in the local government is an important part of councillors and public insight into the different activities. The budget for revision decides how much of the activities runned by the local government can be observed by the elected representative accountant. Vårt arbete syftar till att undersöka om och på vilket sätt pedagoger anpassar sin undervisning och sitt arbetssätt till det mångkulturella klassrummet i två förskoleklasser. I forskningsbakgrunden behandlar vi litteratur kring bland annat kulturell mångfald, betydelsen av vad pedagogen har för förhållande till elevers kulturella bakgrund, elevers språkutveckling och pedagogiska arbetssätt för ett mångkulturellt klassrum. I vår studie har vi använt oss av deltagande observation samt arrangerad forskningsintervju av två förskolelärare som undervisar i mångkulturella klassrum. Resultatet av vår studie har visat att den ena pedagogen delvis anpassade sin undervisning för det mångkulturella klassrummet men att ingen av dem använde det som resurs..

Syftet med undersökningen var att se om datoriserade hjälpmedel kunde öka intresset för elever med läs- och skrivproblem samt dyslektiker. Skulle de få en ökad kunskap i det engelska ämnet? Undersökningen genomfördes på en gymnasieskola i norrlands kommun i en grupp på åtta elever. Jag ville få en större kunskap när det gäller utnyttjandet av hjälpmedel på datorn för engelskkursen. The purpose of the study was to discover how nurses can maintain a good quality of life for cancerpatients at the end of life. We examined seven scientific articles in accordance with Polit, Beck & Hungler (2001) criteria for scientific validity. We used Carnevali's (1996) model of demand and resources as a frame of reference. The results showed that physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs affect quality of life in different ways. Uppsatsen är en fallstudie av det odlingsprojekt Barn i Stan bedriver i stadsdelen Seved i Malmö. Studien hade två syften. Det första var att undersöka Sevedsbornas upplevelser och hur Seved påverkats av Barn i Stans odlingsprojekt. Det andra vara att undersöka hur man kan arbeta med urban odling i miljöförbättringsprojekt i befintlig urban miljö. Intervjuer, observation och deltagande observation har använts som metoder för att inhämta empiriskt material.

Approximately 4000-5000 hectares, of SCA´s forest land area in Västerbotten, are in need of pre-commercial thinning (PCT) every year. Within the management district, the areas annually treated with PCT must increase, in order to decrease the area with an urgent need for PCT. This can be done by employing more forest workers or entrepreneurs, by mechanized PCT or by an extended season for PCT. Positive experiences from a private forest owner, who started to carry out PCT when the first snow came and then continued for several months, gave an idea to investigate the possibilities to prolong the season of PCT. The purpose of this experiment was to compare PCT carried out when there was snow on the ground with PCT performed when there was no snow on the ground.

The average age of the working population in Sweden is increasing, along with the number of retirements. Meanwhile, the number of people entering the labour market is declining. In order to avoid a loss of key skills and competences because of the resulting labour gap, and to ensure future economic growth, it is vital to utilise the aging labour force more efficiently. Nevertheless, many Swedish companies are inefficient in managing their aging workforce. In fact, it has emerged that senior workers in Sweden are discriminated against their age and not attractive on the labour market.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur barn leker med och utan leksaker på förskolegården samt upptäcka eventuella skillnader mellan pojkars och flickors beteende och eventuella skillnader mellan de två åldersgrupperna 1-3 år och 4-5 år. Metoden som används är observation och studien utfördes under åtta tillfällen på en kommunal förskola i Sverige.  Resultaten visar på barns rörelsebehov, nyfikenhet och förmåga till kreativa lekar. My work has been an investigation project with focus on reproduction, method, structure and visual representation. The goal was to investigate how a story changes through time and space as well as how graphic design can affect a story depending on the visual representation. The result is a publication, an exploration of these subjects with the help of the book Expedition Kon-Tiki. Safety in the construction industry has become a question of top priority in recent years. Despite a massive investment of time, money and knowledge, the occur-rence of fatal accidents in Sweden alone is around one a month.The purpose of this study is therefore to improve the safety on the construction site. By an examination of the role of the safety agents and their cooperation with the construction workers and supervisors as well as examine how safety agents can improve safety on the construction site, which is the goal of the study.Four questions were formulated based on the purpose and the goal of the study.The methods used to answer the questions were a questionnaire survey, multiple interviews, a literature review and a document analysis.The report describes the safety agent?s role as a complex one with many different tasks. The role of the safety agents is regulated in the health and safety law, but it can sometimes be difficult to interpret and the agents can therefore interpret their role differently.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka den fysiska miljön för yngre skolelever i klassrummet utifrån ett tal-, läs- och skrivutvecklingsperspektiv. Detta har gjorts genom att intervjua sex lärare på olika skolor samt att göra en observation av deras klassrum. Utifrån studien har vi sett att samtliga lärare har en uppfattning om hur de vill utforma den fysiska miljön för de yngre skolelevernas tal-, läs- och skrivutveckling. Medvetenheten och svaren skiljer sig dock åt och under flera observationer har vi också kunnat konstatera att lärarna "inte lever som de lär" utan att miljön ser ut på ett annat sätt än vad de säger sig vilja eftersträva..

Throughout many years there have been discussions within the European Union (EU) regarding harmonization and improvement of accounting rules for companies with listed shares or other securities. The ambition exists to adopt, the within the union applied accounting standards, to those applied globally. These discussions lead the year 2002 to adoption by the council and parliament of international accounting standards (IFRS). The ordinance meant that all listed European companies have to adopt international accounting standards, accepted for application within the EU, for their consolidated accounts.During July 2003 the Swedish Government Official Reports issued a report (SOU 2003:71) stating, among other things, the differences and oppositions of implementing IFRS on a corporate level in Sweden, since corporate disclosure is regulated in Swedish law by Bokföringslagen (BFL) and Årsredovisningslagen (ÅRL). One of the main obstacles for the full implementation of IFRS is that a company?s annual report underlies the governmental taxation and an implementation of IFRS would affect this balance.
