Studien undersöker hur lärare behandlar undervisningsinnehållet geometrisk likformighet, samt de möjliga dimensionerna av variation som öppnas. Studien genomfördes genom observation av fyra gymnasielärare, vilka undervisar i matematikkurs B (samhällsprogrammet). Observationerna kompletterades med två intervjuer. Vid bearbetning av det insamlade datamaterialet har variationsteorin använts som analysverktyg. Diabetes är idag en vanlig sjukdom både i Sverige och globalt, ca 285 miljoner människor lever med diabetes runtom i världen. Det finns risker för att personer med diabetes utvecklar komplikationer. Dessa kan delas upp i mikro- och makrovaskulära komplikationer. Studiens syfte var att beskriva omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan förebygga komplikationer hos personer med diabetes typ 1 och typ 2. Studien är en litteraturstudie och genom sökningar i databaserna Cinahl och PubMed hittades 9 studier.

This thesis examines the subject of change in public administration from an instrumental and an institutional structure perspective. The purpose of the thesis is to examine whether institutional structures affect the development of instrumental structures and if it in turn is possible to affect institutional structures by changing the instrumental structures. This case study is primarily based on a series of deep interviews with senior administrators and politicians within two new administrations in the municipality Karlstad, both which have been created by merging several smaller administrations, but also thorough analysis of several official document such as protocols from the municipal council meetings, Tja?nsterskrivelser and internal PMs.   The result of the analysis indicates that both institutional structures and the forming instrumental structures affect each other and  that their ability to affect each other depends on the dominance over the organization each structure has.  In my specific research case we can see that the institutional structure of the city-technical and housing administration has affected the outcome but the institutional structure of the cultural and tourism administration hasn?t.  While the structural change of the city-technical and housing administration hasn?t effected the institutional structure but the structural change of the cultural and tourism administration has affected the institutional structure of this specific administration..

The purpose of this work was to investigate the adherence to basic hygiene routines among staff and to investigate if there is any difference between the adherences in diverse professions. The purpose was also to study how staff rates their own adherence to current guidelines. Data for the study were collected through observations and questionnaires. Altogether 35 people were observed and 15 answered the questionnaire. Maximum adherence was found in the category of "hand disinfection after patient contact" with a score of 96%.

During the winter 2011 Isaksson and Andersson did a time budget study on Nordens Ark?s Przewalskis horses during daytime when there were visitors and caretakers in the park. This time budget study was made during daytime and when there were no visitors or caretakers in the park. The horses where observed in the morning (5.30-6.30 am) and in the evening (5.45-6.45 pm) during four days. In addition to a time budget, the horses? positions in the enclosure were registered.

Syftet med vårt utvecklingsarbete var att studera om elevers självkänsla på skolidrotten blir starkare, genom gruppstärkande övningar. Utifrån detta gjorde vi en undersökning som pågick i sju veckor och den genomfördes med en femte klass på en skola. Antalet elever var 19 stycken. De undersökningsmetoder vi använde var observation och enkät, vilket var relevanta för att få fram ett mätbart resultat. Eleverna fick besvara enkäten vid två tillfällen och de observerades medan de utförde gruppstärkande övningar.

Evidence-based psychotherapeutic methods compete with each other, while meta-analysis have shown that variability due to different methods related to outcome is remarkably low. In this qualitative study six former patients were interviewed about experiences of method and technique in Affect-focused therapy, with a slight overweight towards unsatisfactory experiences. Responses were analysed and categorised in emergent themes. Methodological focus on affect showed to be a much appreciated, as well as insufficient, element. Alongside positive experiences or summaries of therapy, methodological frames were felt to be at times restrictive, even invalidating, as far as not allowing focus on what was felt to be the more predominant need.

Syftet med studien är att genom en deltagande observation på Intersport i Falun City skapa förståelse för vilka faktorer som leder till att omsättningen hämmas. Vi har kommit fram till att det är kommunikationen och samarbetet som är de mest betydande faktorerna som påverkar omsättningen i butiken. Kundfokus och kunskap har även de en betydande roll men vi tror inte att den är lika stor. Undersökningen syftar till att ta reda på elevers, i skolår 4, inställning och uppfattning om det lärande som sker vid utomhusundervisning i förhållande till klassrumsundervisning. Det är en kvalitativ studie med intervjuer och observation som metod. Resultaten visar att eleverna uppskattar utomhusundervisningen, men anser generellt att de lär i klassrumsmiljö snarare än när de är utomhus. Samtidigt säger eleverna att de lär när något är roligt, intressant eller väcker deras nyfikenhet. Eleverna ser snarare utomhusundervisningen som en källa till hälsa och rörelse samt möjlighet till fri lek, än som lärandetillfälle..

Denna studie grundas i tankar kring vilka individer som ligger bakom en filmproduktion. Dådet i en filmproduktion arbetar en stor skara människor blev det intressant att undersöka ochlyfta fram diskussion om hur dessa samverkar för att slutföra en produkt som baseras på envision. Studien visar också på vad som ligger bakom samverkan och hur den hierarkiskastrukturen påverkar filmarbetarnas yrkesroll. En observation har gjorts på enlångfilmsinspelning. Det sker en ökning av äldre vilket medför att sjukdomar relaterade till hög ålder blir vanligare. Den nuvarande trenden är att de äldre bor kvar i de egna hemmen så länge som möjligt. Detta ställer större krav på utökad vård och social service eftersom äldre snabbt får reducerad aktivitetsförmåga och därför kräver direkt aktiv rehabilitering av sin skada. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sjukvårdspersonalens omhändertagande av äldre patienter på ortopedens akutintag. Metoden vi använde var observation av sjukvårdspersonalens möte med tretton ortopedpatienter.

The aim of the study was to investigate peer interaction among toddlers 12 to 30 months of age and the teachers? ways to direct the children?s play in outdoor free play situations in a Swedish preschool. Data was gathered through direct observation, and the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty in combination with the assumption of children as social actors built the theoretical framework of the study. The results showed that the toddlers used different strategies to invite peers to interaction and made use of strategies in entering ongoing play that previously have been observed among older preschoolers. These strategies, bodily and therefore in accordance with the phenomenological approach, support the assumption of toddlers as social actors that actively engage in and make sense of their life worlds in the preschool.

Several factors affect the heifer´s growth and development, the newborn calf´s feeding of co-lostrum during its first hours of life is one important factor. The colostrum contains higher amount of immunoglobulins and insulin growth factors compared to matured milk. A high intake of immunoglobulins from colostrum results in a high blood concentration of immuno-globulins until the age of eight months. This leads to a lower incidence of diseases that can affect the growth and development negatively. Diarrhea is the most common disease in calves younger than 30 days.

In my paper I adress the question of what happens in the relationship between the beholder, the artwork and the artist when they meet in the era of Web 2.0. The new smartphone based medium that I write about is Instagram. The artist i write about is the Swedish illustrator Jesper Waldersten. My purpose with this paper was to explore how the the beholder, pictures and artist relate to one another i relation to Instagram and how the interface of the smartphone and the app affect the beholder in these relationships. I also seek out to understand the difference between how Instagrams interface affect the beholder in comparison to the interface of the artists web page and his book.
