Syftet med vår undersökning var att ta reda på hur läraren och eleverna ser på användandet av laborativt material i förskoleklassens matematikundervisning. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av observationer och intervjuer av tre lärare och nio elever i samma kommun. Resultatet visar att lärarna och eleverna ser olika på användandet av laborativt material. Lärarna förhåller sig positiva till användandet och menar att de alltid har stöd av laborativt material i undervisningen. Eleverna däremot visar en osäkerhet kring syftet med användandet av materialen och har svårt att se det matematiska innehållet..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vad tre klasslärare för årskurs 1-3 anser om laborativt material i matematikundervisningen och hur de själva arbetar med detta i sin egen matematikundervisning. Detta undersöktes med hjälp av en kvalitativ studie med intervjuer och observationer. Observationerna användes för att se om det som lärarna ansåg om laborativt material speglades i deras undervisning. Med intervjuerna kunde vi ta reda på vad lärarna ansåg att det kan finnas för möjligheter och hinder med användandet av laborativt material i matematikundervisningen. Resultatet visar att lärarna överlag är positiva till användandet av laborativt material.

This essay is about the representation of orthodox Christianity in Swedish educational material. With the help of my analytical approach inspired by Michel Foucault, I have studied material used in school for the subject Religion. I have limited the educational material in two ways. First, the main reason for this is that I am only interested in material written and produced from the year 2010 until today. Secondly, the material I have chosen to focus on is written for the grades 7-9 and for high school.

This examination report is a part of a program for Industrial organisation and Economics with specialization in Logistics and Management at Jönköping University. The report contains an analysis of the internal material handling at Kongsberg Automotive, and also an improvement proposal for a new material handling system.The aim with the report is to find a better material handling system and also make an analyse of the existing system. The goal is to shorten the distance for the operators when they order material, and also to increase the productivity.The investigation methods for the report have for the most part consisted of observations and interviews of key-persons who daily work in the production. During some time the actual material handling-system has been observed and some shortcomings have been discovered, and these are also discussed in the report.The shortcomings that have been discovered are for once the indistinct signal that should signal need of material in the production. Some other activities have also been discovered that does not bring any value into the final products.

This work is about silage contaminated with slugs (Arion lusitanicus). The hypothesis was: Do slugs affect the nutritional value and hygiene quality of silage? During the winter season 2007/2008 silages were discarded in big amounts due to the contamination of slugs. Both the Swedish Farmer Association (LRF) and the National Veterinary Institute (SVA) received phone calls from farmers and animal owners about contaminated silage. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and SVA decided to initiate this project as a master thesis.

This diploma work on D-level is made in cooperation with Varnäsföretagen AB in Eskilstuna. The company performs contract manufactured aluminium goods. This work is a continuation on earlier diploma work in Varnäsföretagen AB. Even if the industry process consumes much energy for melting the aluminium goods, they consume a great amount of oil to warm up the building. The purpose of this work is to examine some places in the building and the process to see how much energy it is possible to recycles to the heating system and reduce the costs for heating.

?Childs pedagogic material ? A qualitative study of child?s use of pedagogic materials available at five nursery schools and about their teachers thoughts about the display of the pedagogic material?In the nursery preschool the environment and the educational materials have always had a central place. That's why it has been chosen to study and observe five preschools and interview sex teachers, in an attempt to understand the teachers thought about the choice of material and the choices of material that the children used. The reason I do this is to see what the underlying idea about the materials the children use is, and why educators choose to make certain materials visible. The purpose of this study is to examine the educational materials that are used to stimulate children´s learning and examine what determines the choice of educational materials.

This report describes the development of a sample loader for my diploma work at Q-linea AB in Uppsala. The sample loader will replace the process of loading fluid samples into Q-linea?s instrument for biomolecule analysis. The earlier process was done by hand and was a time consuming and inefficient task.The work was initiated with a design phase where an overview of the system was created. The sample loader will be receiving text commands from a PC that coordinates all the subsystems like pumps and lasers on the analysis instrument.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

Det positiva som framkom var att alla barn oavsett behov gynnades av att arbeta med materialet. Det negativa var att pedagogerna ansåg att de hade för lite schemalagd tid att leta efter passande material.Betydelse för läraryrketMin förhoppning är att denna undersökning ska hjälpa pedagoger i förskoleverksamheter med att lättare kunna söka passande material till barngrupperna. Min förhoppning är också att ge pedagoger en liten fingervisning om var de kan finna information gällande hjälpmedel för barn med behov..

Vi har genom intervjuer och klassrumsobservationer undersökt hur tre pedagoger i grundskolans tidigare år använder elevernas erfarenheter från sin vardag i matematikundervisningen, varför pedagogerna undervisar som de gör samt vad de använder för material i sin undervisning..

Syftet med vår undersökning är att ta reda på hur och om barn och pedagoger använder tredimensionella material på två förskolor. Vårt intresse för skapande material uppstod då vi gick sidoämneskursen Det tredimensionella konstruerade arbetet inom slöjd/hantverk, då vi själv fick arbeta och bekanta oss med tredimensionella material. Genom våra diskussioner inom ämnet blev vi intresserade av att ta reda på om dessa material fanns ute på förskolorna. För att ta reda på detta gjorde vi en undersökning med kvalitativa observationer och intervjuer med åtta barn och fyra pedagoger. Vi stödjer oss främst på Granbergs, Tragetons och Vygotskijs teorier och forskning om skapande verksamhet. Vår slutsats är att tredimensionella material finns ute på förskolorna, men att de sällan används.

A purchase decision can be seen as a multifaceted context that raises many unanswered questions. Understanding the consumer's evaluation of alternatives is complex and should be studied at a deeper rather than wider scale. There is a problem for retailers to understand how the consumer manages a purchase decision in a retail setting with durables goods that generates a higher effort. The aim is to describe the decision rules used by the consumer and how they are expressed in this context. A better understanding of which ones they use and how they are conveyed will help retailers to create effective marketing solutions that generate positive outcomes as increased profitability and customer satisfaction.

This thesis engages the topic of test methods for wood adhesives. Two test methods were evaluated, EN 302-1, a European standard, and ASTM D905, an American standard. The total amount of specimens manufactured and tested was more than 500. The adhesive bonds were tested in shear with an increasing load on the specimen until failure.The adhesives used were epoxy-resin, phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde and a 2-K polyurethane. The test programme included five different types of intentional errors per method, in order to investigate the sensitivity of the test methods.
