The aim of this study is to investigate oral peer review on argumentative speech and to study the attitudes towards this peer review. The investigation was performed in an up-per secondary school class, and it focused on the different types of oral responses students give each other. In Addition, the study investigated in what way the students experience this type of peer review. The results show that students reflect on form and performance as well as content, but they place more emphasis on form and performance than content. Students are positive about peer review and its importance for their progress.

The right touch is a project investigating the necessity of the graphic designer in relation to prose text.The project is partly theoretical and partly practical. A series of interviews with graphic designers, publishers and writers has been conducted to discuss the relationship between content and form in prose. In Addition to these interviews, I have done theoretical research on the historical, political and economical context of the designed prose. Based on the findings during the theoretical research, a series of practical experiments was also executed. This project has had several outcomes but one of the more noteworthy is two methods for challenging the references in the act of designing prose (choosing a typeface, for example) using algorithms.

This paper examines the potential benefits of using augmented reality as a tool for visualizing furniture in a buyer?s own environment before buying it. A simple prototype is developed and tested.  The steps for developing the prototype are described in great detail as well as the tools being used. The prototype is tested both on people working in the furniture business as well as people with experience in buying furniture online. In conclusion the results from the user tests are analyzed and the potential benefits are described.

The current research examined whether motives, traditional mass media consumption and individual differences (social activity and political interest) predicted the use of social media among a group of university students in China. In coherence with Uses and Gratifications assumptions the study found that the factors differentially predicted the extent of media use. Information seeking, social interaction and affinity were the main reasons for using social media. There was a negative correlation between television viewing and use of social media, in Addition to a negative correlation between information seeking and use of the media. Results further suggest that social media are used to enhance social capital, since student?s being socially active offline, tend to use the media to a greater extent than those less active..

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka huvudräkningskunskaper några elever i år 3 har. Vi har gjort en empirisk undersökning bestående av kvalitativa intervjuer och löpande observationer av 11 elever i skolår 3 och deras lärare. Vi ville kartlägga deras tankemetoder och strategier vid sju olika huvudräkningsuppgifter. Resultaten visade en stor spridning på eleverna. Några valde olika strategier beroende på uppgifterna, andra valde alltid samma metod och en tredje kategori hade svårigheter med att räkna uppgifterna utan hjälpmedel.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether Swedish, Internet-based travel agencies, acting on a consumer market are working towards creating added value for their customers. If that is the case, how and why do they use such a mode of operation.The theoretical framework was based on Grönroos´ ?Augmented service offering?, which treats added value as an Addition to the core service. The services offered on five of the larger companies´ websites on the market were examined and 3 representatives of the five companies were interviewed.The study shows that 2 of the examined companies did not produce any added value, while 3 of the companies did produce added value for the customer. The purpose of this study is to examine secondary teachers' perceptions of conflict, conflict management, conflict prevention and conflict communication.
