Syftet med arbetet var att utveckla en metod för att rena fram cytokrom c-Id1 ur periplasma från Ideonella dechloratans. Inledningsvis undersöktes proteinets stabilitet vid låga pH. The decision of the European Commission to block the merger between Volvo and Scania in the late 90?s became the starting point to the debate of the possible discriminating effects of the European merger regulation. Especially since the Commission a few years earlier had approved of the merger between Mercedes-Benz and Kässbohrer on the German bus market, where the conditions for competition had been similar to those at hand in the Swedish case. The issue that was and still is in focus is whether the European merger regulation is more difficult to pass for large companies situated on a smaller domestic market than is the case for their competitors of corresponding size but situated on a larger domestic market.This thesis aims at examining what the judgement of the geographical relevant market means for the application of the Merger act. Exempel på områden där begreppet kommer till användning är i reglerna om verksamhetsavyttringar och underprisöverlåtelser. Regelverket kring verksamhetsavyttringar är en implementering av ett EG-rättsligt direktiv, medan reglerna kring underprisöverlåtelser är en rent nationell lagstiftning.

The aim of this thesis is to develop a new business model for district heating and cooling firms which can contribute to a stabilization of the Swedish national energy system. The business model is developed for a district heating and cooling firm and is exemplified with Fortum Heat. The theoretical investigation around the topic creates a rigid base for following qualitative empirical studies. Osterwalder?s canvas for business model generation is used together with a Casual Loop Diagram to identify a number of business opportunities which stabilizes the national energy system.

This report deals with the modeling of a part of the communication system based on the IEEE 802.11a standard which represents the next generation of wireless LAN with greater scalability, better interference immunity and significantly higher speed, up to 54 Mbps. 802.11a uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) where modulation is performed by an IFFT and the demodulation by an FFT. Detta arbete handlar om Rädda Barnens Musikprojekt, ett ettårigt individuellt gymnasieprogram, där elever som misslyckats i grundskolan får chansen att spela in en CD-skiva samtidigt som de kan läsa upp sina betyg. I en tidigare C-uppsats har fyra elevers berättelser åskådliggjort hur ett år på Musikprojektet fått deras självkänsla att växa, förändrat deras inställning till vuxna och skapat en framtidstro hos dem. Syftet med följande arbete är att försöka svara på frågan hur lärarna har arbetat för att eleverna ska få de ovan skildrade erfarenheterna av ett år på Musikprojektet? Hur går det rent konkreta arbetet med skivan till? Vilka andra pedagogiska mål är knutna till de olika faserna i inspelningsprocessen? Svaret på frågorna har fåtts genom två metoder: dels genom intervjuer med lärarna, dels genom observation av en dokumentärfilm inspelad under ett år på skolan. Dokumentärfilmen fokuserar på eleverna, vilket gett mig en möjlighet till jämförelse mellan lärarnas intervjusvar och elevernas agerande i dokumentärfilmen. Resultatet skildrar rent konkret hur lärarna genom att ge eleverna ett tryggt ramverk, lotsar eleverna genom ett år då en CD-skiva blir inspelad. Resultatet visar också hur varje fas i inspelningsprocessen har bestämda syften: att öka självkänslan, stärka gruppgemenskapen eller premiera det individuella initiativet.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka vad människor tänker kring hur en kvinnlig förebild bör vara. Genom en kvantitativ ansats har jag undersökt vilka egenskaper man i första hand framhåller att en kvinnlig förebild bör ha. Som komplement till den kvantitativa delen och för att kunna exemplifiera och fördjupa, har jag genomfört enskilda intervjuer och fokusgruppintervjuer. De frågeställningar jag har valt är: Vilka egenskaper tas upp då kvinnor och män beskriver sin bild av en kvinnlig förebild? Skiljer sig svaren åt med avseende på kön och generation? Om det finns skillnader, kan dessa kopplas till de ideal och normer som varit rådande under olika decennier från svenskt 1930-tal och framåt? Hur kan ett resonemang kring den kvinnliga förebildens roll i dagens samhälle se ut? Jag har även undersökt vilka kända kvinnliga förebilder vi framhåller som bra förebilder.

I focus on the informants' television viewing and I compare this cross-generational, and in relation to other media use. Material/Method: The method I used in this thesis is qualitative interviews. My choice fell on this method because I believe it to be the most suitable for obtaining the data needed.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the employees´ duty of loyalty to their employer when making statements on social media networks and if this opposes the employees´ right to freedom of speech. Another purpose of this thesis is to investigate freedom of speech from an EU juridical point of view. Also a discussion concerning gender issues on this subject takes place is presented in the thesis. The questions to answer the purpose of this thesis are the following: Where is the line drawn for what an employee can publish on a social media network without breaching their duty of loyalty towards their employer?, and How does an employee´s freedom of speech relate to these types of statements on a social media network? The method used for this thesis is the classical legal method.The legal inquiry shows that duty of loyalty is a hidden clause in all employment contracts, and it must be respected by the employee.

This report describes a project carried out in cooperation with Klippan Safety AB. The purpose of this project has been to develop a product that facilitates the living area in a truck cabin for the customers. To be able to develop, in a structured way, that kind of product, the project has been based on different product development theories. The project contained of following parts: marketing research, product generation, product evaluation and prototyping. After information from the marketing research and discussions with the company, the decision was made that the task was going to consist an improvement of the existing product referred to as 'the comfort module'.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the regulatory power, efficiency and impact of export control on Swedish arms export from the 1980s onwards, linked to the delegation of authority of permit license to the Inspectorate of Strategic Products in 1997. An increase in the administrative sector, based on a collective decision making process and established criteria and guidelines, aimed to strengthen the control of arms export to non-democratic and problematic states. In short, the aim of the study is to investigate and analyze whether there was a decrease in the arms export to problematic states or not. On one hand, it is reasonable to assume that the introduction of the new regulation entailed a more strict arms export policy. However, previous research has showed that regulations are sometimes not effective since incentives to breach these may be present.The study begins by examining the Swedish case and situation in terms of arms manufacturing and export, as well as the delegation of authority and legislation applied to the field over time.
