Småskalig vattenkraft
Small hydropower plants have been an important source for electricity for many years.
During the 70?s the general thought was that nuclear was the future. Around 2000 small
waterpower plants were shut down. It wasn?t profitable to invest in. But now, over 30
years later, society has changed their minds of where electricity should origin from. It is
now supposed to be renewable energy. It this study I have taken in consider how to build
a small hydropower plant, all the way from applications to the county administrative
board to planning and calculating. The most important conclusions that this study has
reached are that there are good possibilities to be profitability if you have the
administrative board on your side. What you should remember is that every kWh from
renewable energy puts out one kWh from carbon power plant.
