Minska tjänsteresor genom mätning - En fallstudie om att öka medvetenheten kring tjänsteresor med hjälp av verksamhetsmått
Background: In a world that are becoming more and more aware of the climate changes that occur as a consequence of the increasing emissions around the world companies? experience that the opinion blame the internal processors for this. Many companies feel forced to align their strategies to the environmental goals set by the community. Some of the emissions the companies? operations can be linked to business trips and it is therefore interesting to see how these can be reduced by using different performance measures. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to contribute knowledge of how individual companies can allocate performance measures related to internal business travel. The papers aim is to create an understanding about what performance measures are critically important to measure the cost efficiency and environmental factors of business travel. Method: Through a qualitative study with SCA, whose business include approximately 40,000 employees in 100 different countries, examines the driving forces behind the business travel and how the employees feel that the problem is best attacked with the help of performance measures. Results: A company which sustainability work is well developed can favorably use performance measures which quantifies the environmental effect of business travel, thus raising awareness among employees.
