The purpose of this paper is to see how differences are handled in preschools, with a focus on children with homo- or bisexual parents. By doing this we wanted to see how the conditions for a child with homo- or bisexual parents looks like, in order to have their family conditions mirrored, confirmed and visualised in the preschool.The foundation for the discussion is a Questionaire which has been answered by 229 preschool workers from 24 different preschools in the City of Stockholm. The result of the Questionaire has been handled in a statistics program. Our analysis is based on the statistical numbers and the written replies to the open questions in the Questionaire.As a theoretical starting point we have used Iris Marion Young?s ideas about how our society is coloured by an ideal of similarity that defines liberation as the transcendence of group difference, where the dominant group cannot see how their perspective is just one of several perspectives.

Föreliggande studie undersöker fysiska aktivitetsvanor och psykisk hälsa hos gymnasieelever i åldrarna 18-19 år. Syftet med studien är att undersöka relationen mellan karaktären och mängden av utövad fysisk aktivitet och självupplevd psykisk hälsa hos urvalsgruppen. Studien är av kvantitativ karaktär och datainsamlingsmetoden som används är en enkätundersökning som bygger på de validerade enkäterna International Physical Activity Questionaire ? Short Form (IPAQ-SF) och The 12-item General Health Questionaire (GHQ-12) samt ett antal, av undersökningsledarna, egenformulerade frågor vilka berör karaktären av den fysiska aktiviteten, biologiskt kön och boendeplats. Insamlad data bearbetas i statistikprogramet Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) och resultatet diskuteras och analyseras utifrån tidigare forskning inom området samt utifrån Bourdieus teori om habitus. Inga signifikanta samband mellan karaktären eller mängden av utförd fysisk aktivitet och psykisk hälsa kan konstateras i urvalsgruppen.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka samband mellan lagsammanhållning och upplevt motivationsklimat i fotboll, samt skillnaden mellan kvinnliga och manliga fotbollsspelare i lagsammanhållning och upplevt motivationsklimat. I studien deltog 101 fotbollspelare mellan 15 år och 19 år (m=17.05, sd=0.93) från olika gymnasier med fotbollsinriktning i Halland. Lagsammanhållning mättes med ?Group Environment Questionarie? och motivationsklimat med ?The Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionaire-3?. Studiens resultat visade att såväl positiva som negativa samband mellan lagsammanhållning och upplevt motivationsklimat, samt att män och kvinnor skiljer sig i vissa kategorier av lagsammanhållning och motivationsklimat.

Detta gjordes genom att 38 chefer utförde ett datorbaserat emotionsperceptionstest samt besvarade Emotional Regulation Questionaire. Deras närmaste medarbetare bestående av totalt 213 stycken fick sedan besvara en enkät bestående av delar från Satisfaction With Life Scale, SF-1 och QPS Nordic. Studiens huvudresultat visade att generaliserat kan resultatet från emotionsperceptionstestet och det självrapporterade användandet av omvärdering av känslor hos chefer förklarar 28 % av skattningarna på Satisfaction With Life Scale hos medarbetarna. Resultaten diskuteras i termer av att chefer skapar en positiv atmosfär på arbetsplatsen, identifierar sociala problem och löser konflikter effektivare när de är skickliga på emotionsperception och omvärderar sina känslor..

The essay deals with questions concerning the reasons, difficulties and subjects for rejoicing which various people experience when visiting "voluntarily" old, lonely people in the congregation of Trollhättan. What knowledge is developed and which values are formed? How is aging and solitude experienced? The visits are co-ordinated by two lay workers employed by the Swedish Church. The study is built on oral interviews in April and May 2003 from a Questionaire using open questions. The research group consists of six women between 65-80 of age with 1-30 years´ experience.Inner reasons, contact with other people in similar situations, positive responses to visits, and meetings in the visiting service group seem to be the principal driving forces.

Syfte: undersöka och jämföra eventuella skillnader i upplevelse av delaktighet och livskvalitet hos två grupper av människor med para- eller tetraplegi. En grupp har medverkat på rekryteringsgruppens läger och den andra gruppen har inte varit på något läger men antagits till nästa.Design: Statisk gruppjämförelse av två grupper där den ena har genomgått ett läger av rekryteringsgruppen.Metod: Elva män och kvinnor med ryggmärgsskada medverkade i studien. Upplevd delaktighet och livskvalitet hos deltagarna undersöktes med instrumenten Reintegration to Normal Living (RNL) och The Spinal Cord Injury Quality of Life Questionaire (SCI QL-23). Resultat: De som deltagit på lägret skattade högre delaktighet på åtta av de elva frågorna. De skattade också högre siffror på den del av SCI QL-23 om livskvalitet som handlade om uppskattad fysisk och social funktion.Slutsats: Man kunde se tendenser på att delaktigheten skattats högre av dem som deltagit på rekryteringsgruppens läger.

The amount of web APIs that are open to the public is increasing fast. Both the free web APIs as well as the ones that cost money to access. Both bigger and smaller organizations, professional and non-professional developers use these web APIs to add value to their systems or use it to create new applications. This is an area study where alot of research has been done in the last few years. In spite of this there are still no user-centered evaluation methods for web APIs.

This study is a thorough comparison between what people think about the website www.sl.se, which is a Swedish web-based travel planner for Stockholm metropolitan public transport (such as subways, busses and suburban trains), and how these views compares to the design of the actual website itself. The travel planner offers a wide range of functions and services for their targeted audience to find the fastest route between their current location and their destination. These functions are for example real time information on hold ups and malfunctions on different travel routes, and an interactive map of specific destinations so that the user can get a clear view of the area and nearby traffic stops. But how much does the average user care for these functions, and how often are they used on an average visit? What are the users? motivations when they visit the site? Earlier research suggested that there are services and functions on this website that are useful and well crafted, but that some people may not be aware of.

Mind-mindedness refers to the mother?s ability to treat her child as an individual with a mental life of his or her own. In the present study, the purpose is to investigate the relationship between the amount of mind-related comments the mother produces when the child is 9 months of age and the child?s development in language and communication at the age of 15 months. The hypothesis is that the amount of mind-related comments the mother produces has a positive affect on the child?s language abilities as well as his or her ability to initiate joint attention.

The objective of this study was to make an inventory and a potential analysis of the organic beef production in the region of Gävleborg, Sweden. A survey was conducted, where a Questionaire was sent to all farmers in the region who had environmental subsidies concerning organic cropping systems in 2001. In total, there were 701 farmers, of which 46 % participated in the study. Three slaughter houses were interviewed to get their pictures of the development of organic beef production. The study shows that there are potentials and interests in the region to increase the production of organic beef.

SAMMANFATTNING Bakgrund: Sömn är grundläggande för att människor ska uppleva hälsa och välbefinnande.Syftet: Att undersöka sömnrutiners och omgivande faktorers betydelse för god sömn hos patienter på rehabiliteringsklinik.                                                                                      Metod: En kvantitativ deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie genomfördes med hjälp av en enkätundersökning på två rehabiliteringskliniker i Stockholm. Patienterna (n=33) togs ut enligt konsekutiv ordning utifrån att de bedömdes kunna fylla i enkäten (adekvata, orienterade till tid och rum, förstod svenska språket). Enkäten, ett validerat och reliabelt redan befintligt frågeformulär, Karolinska Sleep Questionaire (KSQ) användes efter omarbetning.     Resultat: Den sammanlagda bedömningen av sömnen utifrån de fyra indexen, sömnkvalitetsindex, uppvaknandebesvärsindex, snarkbesvärsindex och sömnighets/trötthetsindex visade att det var 76 % som ansåg sig ha dålig sömn.

The purpose of this degree project is to investigate how horse keepers reasons about horse keeping and how the horse keeping looks like today. It is interesting to compare modern horse keeping with ancien recommendations and how the horses were kept then to understand how much in the horse keeping today that is based on traditions instead of research and science. The degree project was based on data from interviews of 52 horse keepers in five different municipalities. All interviews have been based from the same Questionaire about how there horses are kept today, what they think about different housing systems, how they think horses will be housed in the future and what problems they think are the biggest in horse keeping today. The results shows that single boxes indoors are the most frequently used housing system today.
