Målet med detta examensarbete är att minska risken för olyckor där grävmaskiner, med borr- eller pålmast monterad, är inblandade. För att kunna uppnå detta mål, har ett beräkningsprogram skapats som definierar ett säkert arbetsområde innan ostabilitet inträffar. Detta har gjorts genom att studera tidigare forskningsarbeten inom området samt verifiering av beräkningsprogrammet med hjälp av en fallstudie och data om maximal lyftkapacitet för grävmaskinen..

Proliferativ enteropati hos gris : patogenes och patologiska förändringar

Proliferative enteropathy is a group of disease conditions in pigs where the disease may vary from subclinical to critical with bloody loose feces. The etiological agent is the obligate intracellular bacteria Lawsonia intracellularis. L. intracellularis infects enterocytes from jejunum to colon. The bacteria is taken into cells and start to replicate and cause a massive Proliferation of immature enterocytes.

The role of cell cycle control mechanisms in regulated and sustained cell proliferation

The cell cycle is the time a cell spends between two cell divisions. The cell cycle includes several parallel processes, all of which must be completed before a cell is mature for dividing. In the first place, all subcomponents (RNA, protein and membrane lipids) need to double in quantity and this occurs continuously through the cell cycle. Furthermore, the genome and some chromosomal proteins must double and this take place during a limited interval in the middle of the cell cycle (S-phase). On either side of the S-phase are two "gaps" which is called G1 and G2. When the cell has passed a point in the G-phase they are irreversibly programmed to progress through the remaining of the cell cycle and will undergo the next cell division. When a cell have passed a point in the G1 phase, approximately four hours after mitosis, a normal cell is in a state of indecision.

Fibroblast growth factors are signaling peptides that controls important cellular processes such as Proliferation, differentiation, migration, adhesion and survival. The significance of oxytocin in canine mammary tumours

Oxytocin is a hormone which plays a crucial role in many reproductive and behavioural functions. It affects many organs and the classical peripheral targets are the mammary glands during lactation and uterus during labour. Oxytocin receptors have recently been described in a variety of normal tissues and primary cell cultures, but also in neoplastic tissues and established neoplastic cell lines, as breast cancer cell lines. The signalling pathways and biological effects of the oxytocin/oxytocin receptor system seem to depend on species, type of tissue, physiological versus neoplastic state and receptor location within the cell membrane.The aim of this project was to find out if the cell Proliferation in the canine mammary carcinoma cell line CMT-U27 was affected upon stimulation of oxytocin, and to investigate the presence of oxytocin receptors in these cells. The cell Proliferation was examined by using an ELISA-kit, where the absorbance measured is relative to the amount of living cells.

Diplomati med klyvbar kärna - en kvalitativ studie av den ryska diplomatins grundval

AbstractThe purpose of this thesis is to analyse the basis of Russian diplomacy, and by doing that develop the analytical instruments available, in order to improve the comprehension between the parties in negotiations. Descriptions of the national characteristics of Soviet and Russian diplomacy are made by an analysis of memoairs and other examinations of their negotiating behaviour. To ensure the result of the characteristics two case studies of the non-nuclear Proliferation negotiations are made, followed by a comparation between the Soviet and Russian diplomacy. From these results, I analyse the groundworks of russian diplomacy, using three theories about how ideology, national identity and prevailing self-image can affect the national negotiating behaviour. The results show that there have been changes in only some parts of the negotiating behaviour and that there is a need for all three theories to explain different parts of the complex system of Russian diplomacy which is based on the plurality of culture, ideology, language, ideology and history..

Hypertrophic osteoarthropathy in wildlife : and a review of suggested pathogeneses

Mastocytom är den vanligaste typen av kutana tumörer som ses hos hundar, och utgör 7-21 % av hundens alla hudtumörer. Majoriteten av alla mastocytom hos hundar uppstår i dermis eller i subkutan vävnad. Studien tar även upp frågan om det finns en genetisk predisponering hos vissa hundraser. Mastceller härstammar från hematopoetiska stamceller.

Anledningar till staters anskaffande och behållande av kärnvapen och faktorer som påverkar staters kärnvapenpolitik

The purpose of this thesis is to explain why states obtain nuclear weapons and the role variousactors and interests play in the making of states´ nuclear policies. The main questions are asfollows: (1) What big theories exist concerning states obtaining nuclear weapon and nucleararmament in International Relations and what relevance do they have of the post cold-war period?,(2) What is the meaning of the perspective of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC)?, and (3)Arethere empirical studies which supports the existence of a MIC in the United States?The focus lies on actors and driving forces that are internal to states and it is also important toinvestigate if the theories have relevance for the post 9/11-era. The study uses the method ofqualitative literature-study with some quantitative segments. It is claimed that states might beinterested in justifying their behaviour in a morally appealing way and that real reasons may behidden.

Proliferativa histiocytiska sjukdomar hos hund

Proliferativa histiocytiska sjukdomar brukar i litteraturen delas in i följande undergrupper: reaktiv histiocytos (kutan eller systemisk), histiocytom och histiocytiskt sarkom (lokalt eller disseminerat). Samtliga former karakteriseras av en onormal Proliferation av histiocyter. Kutan histiocytos är en proliferativ sjukdom som drabbar kutan och subkutan vävnad, om fler organ blir involverade kallas sjukdomen för systemisk histiocytos. Histiocytom är en benign, neoplastisk sjukdom som härrör från intraepiteliala celler, så kallade Langerhanska celler. Histiocytiskt sarkom är en malign, neoplastisk sjukdom som kan delas in i två former; lokalt histiocytiskt sarkom (LHS) och disseminerat histiocytiskt sarkom (DHS).
