Problem: Our opinion is that it is important to consider about usability in system development. In this thesis we will focus on usability in Point-of-sale systems. The Point-of-sale system we base this thesis on is Extenda Retail. Our case study is performed on Ica Kvantum in Bromölla, which implemented Extenda Retail about two years ago. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to figure out what important factors there are to consider, in usability aspects, when developing Point-of-sale systems, with focus on the cashier.

Stunning of pigs at slaughter constitutes of primarily two methods; carbon dioxide and electricity. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages from an animal welfare Point of view. The purpose of this study is to compare different methods of stunning pigs from a welfare Point of view. Questions included in the study are 1) What differences are there, from an animal welfare Point of view, between CO2 and electricity as methods for stunning pigs? 2) What alternatives are there to the methods currently in use? 3) Which method for stunning pigs is preferable from an animal welfare Point of view?This report is a literature review.

The curriculum, Lpo 94 gives spacious independence regarding the question of method and we have to be aware of our own Point of view when we are making the decision regarding the method of reading acquisition. Is it tradition or is it our linguistic Point of view that is the determining factor? Through this study of literature, different publications from different times are being studied and the ideas and the linguistic Point of view are being discussed. Through comparing between the curriculums that have been replaced of one another, and attending to linguistic discussion and research, we will be able to see a change in the linguistic Point of view.

Laser scanning is a method of surveying that has evolved rapidly in recentyears. The technique is based on a laser scanner set up, which can document a structureusing pulsed laser beams. Each time the laser hits a surface it is partly reflectedback to the scanner that stores the Point. By using strategically placed targets, storedPoints from different scans can be merged into a Point cloud. A Point cloud is avisualization of the scanned object with a very high accuracy.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how teachers comprehend LUS as a development program, but also how they think about one of the Points in the program. The study is based on interviews with five teachers working with ages between preschool to ninth grade.The results show that the development program is splendid, it doesn?t come with a lot of paperwork and it has a humanistic approach. When it comes to Point 18a which is the main examination, the teachers mainly agree with each other. They all talk about preunderstanding, reading speed and the amount of literature as the main characteristics to be placed at Point 18a.

These people are facing several difficulties and possibilities during childhood, adolescence, the active period, the turning-Point and life after the turning-Point and we have examined what they might consist of.In this survey we have applied a qualitative method and collected our basis from interviews with former criminals and addicts. Criminality and addiction is a complex problem. There are many different factors which contribute to develop this. The most differential factors are; insecure childhood, low self-esteem and wrong kind of friends.

Both the Bauhaus school and Pivot Point educationcampaign close knowledge in color, form and texture. In my study of the literature I compared theBauhaus school with Pivot Point International Inc, study material for hair design education. From thesimilarities in this material I develop a project in color, form and texture. This was a teaching test forstudents in the hair design education at the upper secondary.

The aim of this study was to investigate how a workplace should be formed to promote health according to the employees. The study was made in IKEA handla hemma in Älmhult, Sweden. The aim of the study was to find out why people experience health at their workplace environment, from a salutogenetic Point of view. The study is based on 12 strategically selected interviews and where analysed according to Grounded Theory. This resulted in a model where the core category was ?The prevailing spirit of the organisation? and the five main categories was ?That the organisation creates favourable conditions to promote health?, ?That there is a god atmosphere amongst the colleagues and the bosses?, ?The personal Point of view about health?, ?The relationship to goals and responsibility? and ?The personal Point of view about their surroundings?.

The purpose of this paper was to analyze several small Swedish businesses which are specialized in different sectors of the Mechanic/Technology industry but they are similar in terms of having niched products and they are leading companies in the world.
