Umbrella Organizations, Organizations that have other Organizations as members, are in previous research described as arenas of conflicts with problematic decision-making and contradictory parallel action towards political decision-makers. However, the research within this subject is limited, and therefore the aim of this paper is to add knowledge to how such Organizations in fact work. After conducting a case study at the trade association ESTOC this thesis challenge previous statements about umbrella Organizations and conclude that there, under certain circumstances, may exist harmony within an umbrella Organizations. The main implication, thus, is that we have to readdress umbrella Organizations in quite another way to be able to make a more realistic interpretation of collaborations in umbrella Organizations..

The purpose of this report is to analyze and evaluate non-profit Organizations way of working with social media within the organization, from a marketing perspective. We have made observations of three Organizations and completed a series of interviews with representatives within the Organizations.In the report we came up with five factors that are necessary for non-profit Organizations in order to receive long term donations with the use of social media; Trust, awareness, involvement, interaction and Word of mouth marketing.Our result shows that the Organizations have realized the potential and benefits of using social media, but have not come very far in the process of using it properly. Our conclusion is that social media can give assumptions for long term donations, if the Organizations use a customer perspective and give their customers added value..

The violence against women is an important matter. In Sweden there are several organisations that takes care of the women and children in need.One of the many Organizations you can turn to is women's shelter Organizations. They are nonprofit Organizations. They depend on the contribution of peoples free time and on the government's awareness of the work that the organization do. The social services has the main responsibility to take care of women and children in need.

Background: It has become important to be able to take advantage of employees' ideas for Organizations today.  The contributed ideas can be developed into innovations. However, there are difficulties for businesses to take advantage and develop the employee provided ideas. It can lead to a stop in the Organizations development.Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to gain a greater understanding of how Organizations can take advantage of the employees' ideas and develop them into useful innovations for Organizations.Method: The thesis consists of precipitated studies from the three Organizations, a manufacturing company, a service company and the municipality of Karlskrona. The paper is based on qualitative research by collecting valuable insights through interviews.Conclusions: In this study, it has been proven that Organizations today have a magnified view of the concept of innovation. They have difficulties in implementing the concept in day to day operations.

This report explores how Organizations act when they are choosing an Outsourcing supplier. The study was conducted through multiple interviews with managers of different Organizations. The data from those interviews was then analyzed through the use of two theoretical models. Our findings indicate that most Organizations share the same base factors (qualifiers) when selecting an Outsourcing supplier. What therefore become crucial are the key factors that the Organizations see as Order winning factors.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of our study was to examine how four different Organizations cooperate on rehabilitation of people to get them back to employment. More specifically our aim was to investigate how different Organizations in a project, involving workrehabilitation, looks at cooperation. Our main questions were vague at the beginning of our study, but finally our focus became clear. The questions were formed with help from the research of Hjortsjö (2006) and Fridolf (2000): Which possibilities and hindrances identify the different Organizations which cooperate? What does cooperation mean to the representatives from the different Organizations which are included in KARB? Our result shows that the respondents mostly think positive of the project KARB.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the participation of immigrant Organizations to the partnerships in the Equal program in Sweden. The focus of the study was on the significance of the participation for the Organizations and its impact on them. The point of view of the participant Organizations has been object of study through interviews with the persons who, on behalf of the Organizations, have been in charge for the work with Equal. Interviews have been conducted with people representing 10 of the 21 immigrant Organizations that have been identified among the Swedish Equal partners. Many Organizations have experienced that the participation has strengthen the awareness of target groups about their needs and their possibilities.

Recently though, accounting standards have been altered which, through the new "Bokföringslagen" as of first of January 2001, have affected accounting standards for non- profit Organizations. Non-profit Organizations can influence the publics? decision of who to support by creating a financial reporting that appeal to the public.PurposeThe purpose of this essay is to examine how non-profit goals are measured in non-profit Organizations and if there are a practice on the subject.MethodologyWe choose a qualitative approach as we wanted to understand the reality by explaining it with words.

The study examines how efficiency and effectiveness are measured in charity Organizations in Sweden. The rules of Svensk Insamlingskontroll, Årsredovisningslagen and Bokföringslagen make up the accounting framework upon which efficiency and effectiveness are measured in charity Organizations. The study is based upon interviews with the sector's main actors: Svensk Insamlingskontroll, Frivilligorganisationernas insamlingsråd, auditors and the charity Organizations themselves. The interviews are supplemented by studies of the guidelines issued by Svensk Insamlingskontroll. Today's measure of efficiency is the percentage of a charity organization's income that benefits their goals, called nyckeltalet.

Networking is an important part, for Organizations, in the recruitment process. This since the emergence of Internet networking has become more common and the Organizations finds that networking is applied more frequently in the recruitment process. Organizations have noticed that networking often is a more cost efficient option compared to traditional recruitment. Since networking in the recruitment process has increased, we intend to investigate if and how it affects the composition of Organizations. This thesis aims to examine networking in the recruiting process, and aims to make no differences between networking offline and online.

This study examines how and why Organizations evaluate training and development within the Organizations. The study has a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews, with office and organization development managers. The purpose of the study is to contribute with knowledge about how three large Swedish Organizations evaluates training and development programs for staff members. Another purpose is to describe why the Organizations evaluate training and development programs and to research if there is a further need to develop the organization evaluation methods. Therefore the research questions are Why and how do Organizations evaluate training programs? What further need is there to develop Organizations evaluation methods?The conclusion of this study shows that evaluation of the training and development programs are not a high priority among the selected Organizations.

The natural disasters of recent time have caused the people of Sweden to donate very large amounts of money to different fundraising Organizations. With this in mind, we found it interesting to examine the extent of disclosure in the annual reports of the Swedish fundraising Organizations. Thus, the purpose of this study is to identify which factors that influences the extent of disclosure of accounting principles in the annual reports of Swedish fundraising Organizations. To fulfill this purpose we conducted a content analysis of 149 annual reports from Swedish fundraising Organizations. To help us explain the levels of disclosure we applied stakeholder theory, institutional theory and legitimacy theory.

It has been used several methods and strategies to address these threats, including a method current in use, the targeting method.
