The ongoing construction of Kristianstad is a trade mall in the city center, the City Hall and the railway station neighborhood is rebuilding, new residential projects are planned and "The healthy garden", "Accessibility for everyone" and "ERA-farms" are also current. Kristianstad has always a sustainable way of thinking in the background during the development and they are trying to meet all three perspective of sustainability: economical, ecological and social. The purpose of the thesis is to describe the developing of the branch libraries of the public library of Kristianstad between the years of 1967 and 1977. The municipality of Kristianstad was grounded by a unification of the city of Kristianstad and ten small municipalities. The fusion takes place in three different stages during the years of 1967, 1971 and 1974. The first stage included the city of Kristianstad and the municipalities of Araslöv, Nosaby, Träne and Vä. The municipality of Araslöv got free small villages and village of Färlöv was the biggest one.

Botanist Kjell-Arne Olsson inventoried the plant fen ragwort Senecio paludosus 1983 in Scania andfound a big number of locations within Biosphere Reserve Kristianstad Vattenrike. In 2012, a reinventoryof the 1983 survey was carried out to study whether there has been any change in the fenragwort population in Kristianstad Vattenrike since the last inventory. The results show that therehas been no overall change in the number of fen ragwort in Kristianstad Vattenrike, on certainpremises they have increased in number while in others they have fallen. However, the inventoryshows that almost half of the locations with fen ragwort have disappeared during the same period.The main reason for this is that fen ragwort did not manage to competitive with other vegetation,taking in consideration this has been smaller premises with young plants. In addition to competitionother factors such as prolonged high water, grazing and caterpillars from Tyria jacobaeaecontributed to the decrease.

Högskolan Kristianstad har gamla anor med utbildningar från mitten av 1800-talet men grundades först 1977 i sin nuvarande form. De sista 4-5 åren har högskolan haft planer på att göra en omstrukturering. Förändringsarbetet tog fart förra året och vi blev intresserade av att skriva om de förändringar som pågick. Syftet med uppsatsen var att analysera förändringsprocessen vid Högskolan Kristianstad, samt undersöka hur de anställda påverkades av den. Vi valde att göra intervjuer med de anställda för att få inblick om hur de upplever sin situation.Våra frågeställningar var: Vad var de anställdas syn på omorganisationen?Vad har de anställdas förväntningar varit under processens gång?  Vad har de anställdas farhågor varit under processens gång och vilka motstånd har uppkommit från de anställda under processens gång? Våra slutsatser är bland annat att en förändring är nödvändig på Högskolan Kristianstad, att skolan behöver en stark och tydlig ledning, att det hade varit bra om ledningen hade ett bredare underlag om förändringar i en akademisk miljö.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate former dental hygienist students? view regarding their education at Kristianstad University.Material and methods: This quantitative study was descriptive and the data collection method was used by a questionnaire. This was sent by post to former dental hygienist students at Kristianstad University. In total, 57 dental hygienists participated in the study.Result: The majority of the respondents (94 %, n=54) were content with their education. The education?s primary strength turned out to be the clinical activity that is conducted while at the same time there was a wish for more practice.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how a newly built library and an old library from the sixties work out of an experience and feeling oriented view. Are the fundamental conditions of an old library compatible with the library standards of today? To be able to carry out this examination we have chosen two rather small Swedish libraries. One is the public library of Hässleholm, which opened in the year 2000, and the other is the public library of Kristianstad opened in 1965. The material used to attain the purpose of the study consists of literature studies and qualitative observations and interviews.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur arbetet för ett jämställd idrottande i Sverige ser ut och undersökningens fokus ligger på staten och de tre kommunerna Karlskrona, Kristianstad och Växjö. Resultatet av uppsatsens undersökning är att killarna får större del när det gäller de idrottspolitiska satsningarna. Även fast staten i huvudmålen för idrottspolitiken belyser kvinnor och mäns lika värde satsas det mest på de traditionella manliga idrotterna vilket syns tydligt på bland annat de kommunalägda idrottsanläggningarna samt på det faktum att kvinnorna inom idrottsrörelsen har mindre inflytande än män. Jämställdhetsarbetet ser olika ut i de tre kommunerna. Bäst arbetar Växjö och därefter kommer Karlskrona.

AbstractThe purpose of our study was to get a deeper understanding and a better knowledge about the study situation students with disabilities experience at the University of Kristianstad. Our choice was to focus on their experience of the supporting measures, the accessibility and how they felt they were met by both students and teachers. It was a qualitative study and it was based on interviews with eight students with disabilities at the University in Kristianstad. In the study we have used the theoretical concept of empowerment as an analysis tool. The different kinds of support the students with disabilities were using were in common described as positive and the students thought that the supporting measures helped them getting more independent.

I denna studie beskriver jag problemet hur planering och zonering av destinationer för friluftsliv och ekoturism kan göras. Genom att utveckla och analysera teori och resultat abduktivt har analys och slutsats utvecklats med Kristianstad Vattenrike som utvalt studerat område. Kristianstad Vattenrike är ett av Sveriges fem biosfärområden och sträcker sig nästan över hela Kristianstad kommun med en mångfald av olika naturtyper. Som utnämnt biosfärområde ska man bidra till hållbar utveckling och utveckla området utefter ledorden bevara, utveckla och stödja och planera området i kärnområden, buffertzoner och utvecklingsområden.För att uppnå studiens syfte att abduktivt visa i teoretisk och analytisk växelverkan hur man kan planera och zonera en destination för friluftsliv och ekoturism så har jag valt att beskriva hur planering av friluftsliv kan göras, om zonering, om planering för ekoturism och rural turismutveckling. Dessa har utvecklats abduktivt med utvald kvalitativ metod för analys av en destination, Kristianstad Vattenrike, och hur det planeras i praktiken för eventuell zonering av friluftsliv och ekoturism enligt tre intervjuer och skriftliga källor om Kristianstad Vattenrike.I studiens resultat och analys analyseras tre frågeställningar för syftet: 1) Vilka förutsättningar för friluftsupplevelser och ekoturism erbjuder natur, landskap samt infrastruktur i Kristianstad Vattenrike?, 2) Hur planeras det för friluftsliv och ekoturism i Kristianstad Vattenrike? och 3) Varför ska zonering användas som medel för att planera hållbara destinationer för friluftsliv och ekoturism?Här beskrivs vilket brett utbud av naturtyper som erbjuds i ett friluftsliv som hela tiden utvecklas med behov och efterfrågan på området, men också med produktutveckling.

A preventive health care program prevents ill-health and since 2001 Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad has a health care program, ?Främja hälsan?. Leadership is important in the health promotion work when to get the collaborators motivated and involved in the health care program. The aim of the cross-sectional study was to investigate the collaborators opinion about the managers? pedagogical role in the health promotion work at Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad.

The aim of the study was to describe how patients experienced communication, treatment and costs at the dental hygienist program at Högskolan Kristianstad. The study was based on a questionnaire that was made at the patient clinic. The questionnaire was conducted by the treating dental hygienist student after the treatment. The questionnaire was answered in the waiting room. Collection of the material occurred during the month of March in 2009.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera arbetetmed benchmarking inom Kristianstad kommun. Författarna har använt sig av en hermeneutisk ansats ochutfört en kvalitativ fallstudie av benchmarkingarbetet iKristianstad kommun. Vidare har abduktiv utgångspunkttagits och författarna har studerat teori och empiri parallellt.Data som använts har bestått av dels primärdata sominhämtats via intervjuer och men även sekundärdata i formav verksamhetsrapporter men framförallt den teori somanvänts. Det teoretiska ramverket har växt fram under uppsatsens gång och anpassats under processen till att inkludera de delar som författarna ansett viktiga för resultatet. De fyra teorierna som valts ut för att beskriva benchmarkingarbete är presenterade i den ordning som benchmarking vanligtvis utförs.
