This essay tells about the meaning of Eurhythmics for children?s development and why it is so difficult to draw attention to the value of Eurhythmics compared to other activities in preschool. The essay builds upon a story that shows what consequences may follow when the meaning of the Eurhythmics in the process of learning is not acknowledged. By looking at the relation between rhythm and human beings in a global perspective, I have examined the meaning of rhythm for the human well-being. The question I have researched is; why does Eurhythmics appeal to almost every child in spite of being rejected by so many teachers? By researching the reasons behind these completely different points of views, I have tried to enhance the understanding for the different perspectives.

Title: Eurythmics, and building boats -A study in tacit knowledge.The education of Eurhythmics at Malmö Academy of Music, is a program where a major part of the tutoring is oral; very little written information about the method is used. This essay will examine the forms in which the current knowledge base exists, as well as the methods in which this information is transmitted from teacher to student, and in which form the knowledge about the method of Eurhythmics is existing. The tools for analysis are the theories on tacit knowledge. Interviews and written surveys are used as qualitative research methods. The content of these interviews and surveys are presented in the results chapter.

I mitt arbete undersöker jag tre personers upplevelse av vad rytmik och musikterapi är. Jag bad dem också jämföra rytmik och musikterapi för att hitta likheter och skillnader. Jag har läst om Émile Jaques-Dalcroze, som anses vara rytmikens grundare. Jag drar också paralleller till Howard Gardner och John Dewey. För att få en djupare förståelse av vad musikterapi är har jag läst bland annat Even Ruuds ?Varma ögonblick?, och Anita Granbergs ?Tre svenska utbildningar i musikterapi?.

The main purpose of this study is to inquire whether music can function as a supportive and compensating tool for children from various kinds of social exposure. Eurhythmics is the musical method focused on, since it consciously works out of a socializing perspective. The study involves a scheme with poor children in Argentin (autumn 2005) and is based upon two interviews with women working professionally with both the social and the musical aspect of the current question. Notes from the above mentioned project are added to the interviews. The possible conclusion from the end results is that the individual as well as the dynamics of the group (as a whole) draw positive benefits from not only the music itself but also the structure and the elements of it.

Skådespelaryrket kräver mycket av en människa både intellektuellt, färdighetsmässigt och fysiskt. Det förväntas också ofta av en skådespelare att vara musikalisk. Musikalitet kan yttra sig på olika sätt. I skådespelarsammanhang vill jag påstå att musikalitet kan finnas i allt från texthantering till hur man rör sin kropp. Jag är rytmikpedagog, men har också arbetat som skådespelare.

Title: Artistic methods for persons with dysfunctions.The idea to the paper was born in my work, as a pedagogue, with young persons with dysfunctions. My pedagogic method is Eurhythmics but I wanted to examine in what other ways you could work with artistic expression in similar areas such as circus, dance therapy and psychodrama. These areas were chosen because they have components that are interrelated, which I find very interesting. Mind and body are considered from a holistic point of view. The purpose of this paper is to bring about a better understanding of how persons with dysfunctions respond to various artistic teaching methods.

This study is about how eurhythmic teachers create a comfortable and educational environment in their classrooms. In other words how they create a healthy working environment. Four teachers were chosen for the study, one of them male. I?ve used qualitative interviews because I believe it's the best method to collect information that illustrates what a teacher's working situation looks like and what he/she does to realize their own ideas.

    Syftet med det här arbetet är att undersöka förstaklasslärares uppfattningar om hur motorisk träning hanteras i skolan och vad träningen kan leda till. Av intresse är också att undersöka vilken roll musiken kan spela i den motoriska träningen. Arbetet baseras på en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer med fem verksamma pedagoger inom grundskolans verksamhet. I bakgrundslitteraturen beskrivs den motoriska utvecklingen, problem som kan uppstå vid brister i motoriken, forskning om motorisk träning samt musikens roll vid motorisk träning. Den valda litteraturen visar på en splittrad syn när det gäller motorikträningens betydelse för barns lärande.

I denna uppsats syftar jag till att undersöka hur, när och på vilka sätt samlärande kan ske imusikundervisning. Genom observationer och intervjuer på barn undersöks hur och påvilket sätt barn lär av varandra på musiklektioner. Med samlärande menas allt lärandesom sker mellan människor och begreppet utgår ifrån hur vi i en lärprocess kanförespråka delaktighet, kommunikation och mångfald av idéer och tankar. Vygotskij ochPiaget har haft stor inverkan på samarbetes roll i våra läroplaner och det framgår främstgenom ett demokratiperspektiv på undervisningen. Dock tycks betydelsen av barnssamverkan i läroplanerna minskat genom åren.

I have studied three composers? and three choreographers? thoughts about the artistic process and the work that leads to a piece of music or a dance.
