Speciallärarens yrkesroll : Handledare eller samarbetspartner?

From autumn 2008 Sweden has reinstalled the Special Education Needs teacher Education. For future special Education teachers and active teachers in the field, it is important to know the history and be aware of future visions to create a good role for the Special Education Needs teachers. This study examines attitudes towards special Education and Special Education Needs teachers amongst school principals and classroom teachers at seven schools in Umeå municipality. School principals were interviewed, and a survey was handed out amongst the selected General Education teachers. From this it appears that school principals have a picture of special needs Education and Special Education Needs teachers' work that corresponds well with the objectives of the school's governing documents.

Lärares motiv att bedriva utomhuspedagogik

The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper understanding of teacher´s motives to engage in outdoor Education in their teaching. A qualitative approach through interviews was used and a total of eight teachers were interviewed. The result showed that there were several motives to engage in outdoor Education. These motives were divided into three main categories which were: to engage in outdoor Education from teacher`s interest, to engage in outdoor Education based on teacher`s perceptions of children's needs and to engage in outdoor Education based on external factors..

Moral Education can be a path to develop this knowl-edge; however, it is possible that the moral Education gets more obscure when it is not a separate subject. The purpose with this essay is to examine the need of moral Education and the presence and the framing of moral Education of seven teachers in religion. The purpose is also to analyse where and how the moral Education should be included in the curriculum. The survey was conducted through qualitative interviews with a hermeneutic approach.

This study is based on a literature component and a qualitative study through interviews five teachers.The results of the interviews show how to interpret the motivation and how to work with students' motivation. As well as outdoor Education as part of the activity.  The interviews show the importance of outdoor Education can be to increase students'motivation for learning. They also show the importance of outdoor Education is for student learning and test scores have shown the effectiveness of student learning through outdoor Education.

Nätbaserad utbildning för en hållbar besöksnäring

A system to regulate both quality and sustainability regarding Swedish tourism industry is under way. In order for the system to be successfull it needs to be accompanied by an Education, in this case a net based Education is studied.High requirements are demanded for a successful net based Education for a sustainable tourism industry. This is valid both for the didactic area,  which is how an Education is structured and planned and in the organisational area, which is how and Education best is implemented in a company. The aim with this study is to increase the understandings of which aspects that are important for  developers  if this net based Education. The study was conducted at three hostels in Stockholm with surrondings. Both managers and  employees participated in the study.  The managers where interviewed and got to answer a questionniare.

?Ibland rolig & Ibland tråkig? : En studie om elevers syn på matematikundervisning i grundskolans senare år

The purpose with this study is to gain understanding about student´s view of mathematical Education, in the later years of nine-year compulsory school, and the motivation factors that can be identified when student´s gives opportunity to express their own thoughts due to the mathematical Education. From experiences we have gained during the practical part of our teachers Education we got the impression that student´s think that the mathematical Education is boring and uninteresting. Through qualitative methods such as survey and discussions in focus group we have analyzed student´s views of mathematical Education and pointed out witch motivation factors that are expressed when student´s gives opportunity to influence over their own Education. The results are shown from the answers and comments that student´s gave, during the survey and focus group, and is divided into two main parts, both with focus on motivation ?Mathematics and motivation? and ?Student´s influence and motivation? and also a summery part ?Motivated for mathematical Education when the student is given influence over the Education?. The study showed that student´s wants to have more difference in the work methods that are used in their mathematical Education such as problem solving, games, more work in groups and pairs and more use of IT. In conclusion the study also gives suggestions to other studies that can be made in the same genre as this study in the way that IT can be used in mathematical Education and how student´s interest can be used in the Education to gain more motivated student´s..

AbstractThe aim of our study was that from a Preschool Manager?s perspective to describe, analyze and understand the function of special Education and the Special Education Teacher?s profession within preschools. We conducted twelve interviews with Preschool Managers in two northern Swedish municipalities. From a theoretical base, we used both the relational and categorical perspectives. All answers from these interviews have been analyzed from these perspectives.

AimOur aim with this study was to examine how outdoor Education is designed and experienced in three upper (senior) levels of compulsory school in Stockholm, and to compare it with the Norwegian equivalence.MethodOur method has been interviews with ten teachers, of whom six are Swedish teachers and four are Norwegian teachers. Two Swedish teachers are teaching in other subjects than Physical Education, four are teachers in Physical Education, two are teachers in Norway in Physical Education at and two are teachers in Norway at university level. Questionnaires were used to examine the Swedish pupils? attitudes towards outdoor Education. 90 questionnaires were delivered, and 70 answered them.

Demokratiuppdraget: ett viktigt uppdrag : En kvalitativ studie om hur fem lärare för årskurs 1 tolkar skolans demokratiuppdrag

According to the Swedish curriculum the Education should establish respect for human rights and democratic values (Skolverket, 2011, s.7). The purpose of this study is to investigate how five first grade teachers understand the democracy Education and how they practice it in reality. I have, based on the purpose of this study issued following questions:What is the teachers interpretation of the democracy Education? How does the teachers work with democracy in practice?What difficulties does the teachers see with the democracy Education?This study is made through a qualitative method based on interviews with five teachers. The results show that the teachers at both schools, despite the different definitions of the concept of democracy, yet interprets democracy Education relatively equal.

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss Education as a state tool in Sweden during the 17th and 18th century. The idea is to contrast the pragmatics of the Swedish Education system with the theories of Rousseau and Comenius. The thesis is marked by the thought that theory and application diverse because of the subversive infusion in the ideas of the theoretic.The results shows that it is ultimately a question of public Education and its potential. The state recognises the potential of public Education but also its dangers and therefore becomes very active in forming not only the Education system as a hole but also its pedagogic.

Tre pedagogers och elevers attityd om utomhuspedagogik : En kvalitativ studie om utomhuspedagogikens plats i skolans tidiga år

The study is of qualitative research method, where the interviews are the main material for the study. This study aims to analyze teachers and pupils perspectives on outdoor Education in the early years of the elementary school. The main reason for this study is that all the literature in the area tends to lift up the positive aspects of the field. While the practice of Education tends to go the other way, where the majority of our children?s classes takes place inside the classrooms.
