Vigselsamtalet- En studie om samtal mellan präst och brudpar

The purpose of my research is to describe the substance in three different wedding Conversations, and study how the role of the priest is designed in these Conversations. The foundation of my study contains authentical Conversations and interviews from three priests and three couples. My main material is the authentical Conversations but the content of the study, with supplementary interviews with the priest and the couple, render possible a perspective analysis of the wedding Conversations from both sides. My conclusion is that the three priests expresses a different role in each conversation and the couples are powerless in the face of the priests. The dominate Conversationsstrategy plays a decisive role for the matter and the character part of the priest in these Conversations..

Kan jag be och få potatisen? : Två förskolor och två olika sätt att organisera måltiden. En studie av måltidssamtalen och pedagogernas tankar kring måltidens språkutvecklande möjligheter

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lunchtime from a language development perspective. It will compare two preschools with different ways of organizing mealtimes and observe the Conversations between teachers and children. It will also study the ways in which a meal is served and how it affects the Conversations. In one of the preschools the children eat in a proper dining room where the food is served as a buffet while in the other preschool the children eat in the preschoolarea and the food is served in bowls on the tables. I also want to investigate how two of these preschool teachers reflect on the mealtimes as part of the language development plan.

Reflekterande samtal- verktyg för utveckling? : Pedagogers upplevelser av reflekterande samtal i arbetet med elever i behov av särskilt stöd.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyses educators? experiences of reflective Conversations in their teams and part of teams in relation to their work with pupils in need of special support. Ten educators representing ten different teams have been interviewed since all had experiences of working in teams and working with pupils in need of special support. Focus has been on the educators? experiences of the organisation, the effects of the reflections and the need to develop the reflective Conversations in their teams and part of teams.

 The aim of this essay was to examine the way preschool teachers and children converse during school meals, and also the way preschool teachers start and develop Conversations during meals. The Conversations were analyzed from the topic of conversation and the teachers' ways of using language acts such as questions, remarks, exhortations. The study was based on observations, tape recording and contact schedule. The result shows that the topic of conversation is significant for how involved teachers are in Conversations during meals. The result also shows how Conversations develop or end depending on what language acts teachers use.

Samtalsmatta som kommunikationsstödjande redskap för gruppsamtal i förskolan

The aim of the study was to examine the impact of the use ofTalking Mats in group Conversations with preschool children. Two preschoolteachers and eight preschool children, aged 4-5, took part in one of twoconversational groups with one teacher and four children in each group. Thegroups were video-taped during four group Conversations on two topics, withand without the use of Talking Mats. The amount of time for each child inthe conversation was calculated, the child?s communicative contributionswere coded and thereafter the extent to which their views were noticed wasanalyzed.

Preschool is a place that is continually undergoing change at a rapid pace and developing the skills of our educators is essential for their ability to keep up with these changes. Guidance Conversations can be used as a vital tool for the educators competence development.The purpose of this essay is to investigate how educators, special educators and preschool principals think and reason about the use of guidance Conversations in preschool.A qualitative method has been used in the shape of interviews with educators, special educators and preschool principals working within different districts of a medium sized city in the south of Sweden.These interviews revealed that the use of guidance Conversations is often controlled by specific needs and is used when a problem arises amongst the children. There are many expectations on the special educators role in these Conversations, one of which is the role of conversation leader with the purpose of guiding the conversation amongst involved parties and give them the tools they need to resolve problems by themselves instead of delivering packaged solutions..

The aim of this study was to investigate the result of an effort to support reading development and the reading motivation. My approach was an intervention study during four weeks, where intensive reading in a group of three pupils in grade one took place. Individual Conversations and group Conversations were central methods in combination with different ways of processing the texts. Interviews were conducted with the class teacher and the participating children to see the difference in reading and motivation before and after the project. The result shows that an intensive period with reading fiction books with subsequent Conversations and different processing of the text is a useful developing method for decoding, reading comprehension and reading motivation.

MENINGSFULLT SPELANDE I DIALOGSYSTEM : En jämförande studie

Syftet med denna studie har varit att söka finna ett samband mellan dialogsystem designade enligt designmönstret Gameplay Integrated Conversations och meningsfullt spelande. Två prototyper har skapats där den ena haft stöd för tidigare nämnda designmönster och den andra inte. Dessa testades på två grupper om fem personer som återgav sina upplevelser genom ett frågeformulär. Resultaten visade att gruppen som spelade prototypen med Gameplay Integrated Conversations inte upplevde de unika egenskaper som det medförde. Dessutom visade undersökningen att gruppen utan stöd för designmönstret upplevde mer meningsfullt spelande.

Using a symbolic interactionistic analytical approach, this essay aims to study the socialisation of young women?s sexuality in treatment institutions for young women. Through qualitative interviews with staff members at said institutions, concerning their views on young female sexuality, and how they discuss sexuality with the young women in the institutions, my aim was to identify the socialisation of young women?s sexuality. I have also investigated how the staff experiences their own sex as an important factor in Conversations about sexuality with young women, as well as the possible effect sexually mixed or sexually segregated institutions exert upon Conversations about sexuality.

This essay deals with the various difficulties that can arise in Conversations and meetings with parents and colleagues in the preschool world. The essay is based on two self-perceived stories that culminate in dilemmas that are difficult to assess, where our own actions come into question.The purpose of this essay is to gain a greater understanding and awareness of why we become insecure when our communication with others fails. Our research questions assist us in gaining an understanding that our own and others' behavior in meetings and Conversations can be influenced by past experience, ourvalues and our emotions. This means, for example, that we must be aware that our values - ideal images, functions as both our guide and trip wires. We must also bear in mind that our ability to manage our own emotional reactions is  significant when it comes to facing our own and others' feelings.

Writing is a critical element for many of the second language learners that I?ve encountered in my work as a Swedish teacher. Therefore, on the basis of Jerome Bruners theories of reflec-tion and learning, was the purpose with this study to examine the scaffolded structured reflec-tion conversation as a method for writing development. Bruner says that the knowledge be-comes deeper when we consciously reflect over it (Arfwedson 1992:110 f).I have used a qualitative method where I let five students write a text in Swedish on the subject "application for internship". After that I held a conversation with each of the pupils.
