Sista inlägget ? varför sluta blogga? : En studie av bloggare som avslutat sina bloggar

 By changing focus from the active Blogger to the ex-Blogger this study focuses on a part of the Blogosphere that is generally overlooked, why Bloggers stop Blogging. 30 terminated Blogs where studied and the ex-Bloggers where contacted. Six main reasons why a Blog is terminated was found: Changed life situation, The Blog effecting private life, The Blog effecting the professional life, Done with testing to Blog, Blogging about an event, Done with the Blog ? the logical termination. Outside the main focus of the study  it was also evident that most Bloggers terminate a Blog to put focus of one of their other Blogs or start a new one.

Den optimala bloggen : En kvalitativ studie om bloggläsares attityder och idéer kring bloggdesign

The purpose of this study is to examine which aspects of Blogs and Blog design that are important to Blog readers but also to find new ideas for Blog design. From a qualitative standpoint we have examined how seven users experience that Blogs design, structure and functionalities affects the general experience of the Blog. The study also examines how the users wish to interact with a Blog. During two design workshops we let seven active Blog readers imagine and sketch out the design and functionalities they would like in a Blog. We put this in relation to theories about the anatomy of Blogs, methods of design, social navigation and virtual communities.The major finding is that the aspects most important to Blog readers are navigation, structure and social interaction.

Klassblogg : En studie av lärares användning av klassblogg i grundskolans tidigare år

The purpose of this study was to explore the use of a Blog in the classroom. This paper describes why the teacher created the Blog and how the Blog is used by teachers and pupils in and outside the classroom. The study also describes teachers? thoughts regarding future use of the Blog. Seven primary school teachers were interviewed and the material was analysed using a multimodal design theoretical perspective on learning (Selander & Kress 2010).The conclusion of the study was that the teachers created and designed Blogs to give parents, pupils, relatives and others an opportunity to have an insight into the pupils? school day.

Boktips 2.0 : En kvalitativ studie om elevers delaktighet i skapandet av boktipsvideor på en biblioteksblogg

The aim of this study was to, through a qualitative method, investigate students? participation in a specific library Blog to find out what motivate them to create and share digital book recommendations through videos. It also intended to describe the students? own views of their participation.We conducted interviews with eight students in the ages 12 and 13, who all had similar experiences regarding the Blog creation but diverse attitudes concerning the Blog production and intentions to participate.The results showed that the strongest motivating forces behind the students' participation in the Blog creation was that they enjoyed the making of the videos and also because they wanted to inspire others to read more and create resembling Blogs..

Flipp eller flopp?: En kvantitativ studie om bloggens potential som marknadsföringsmedium

The Blog has become a widely discussed subject, but while marketers do invest in Blogs, there is little evidence on the how the Blog works as a marketing tool. Therefore, we thought it would be interesting to create a greater understanding of the Blog's potential communication effects. To demonstrate the potential of the Blog in comparison with more traditional media, we decided to compare the communication effects achieved by a Blog with those achieved by an online magazine. We pursued an experiment where we exposed an identical text about a brand to respondents in seven Blogs and in seven online papers and measured the resulting communication effects in terms of attitudes and intentions towards the exposed brand. The quantitative study showed that the Blog in some basic aspects works as a more traditional media; when the consumer forms positive attitudes toward a text in a Blog, the attitude spills over to the attitude toward the brand, with higher buying and w-o-m intentions as a consequence.

Biblioteksbloggen ? en studie om realisering av bloggverksamheter vid folkbibliotek

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to gain a deeper understanding of and examine how library Blogs are realized at public libraries together with the views among librarians regarding the realization of library Blogs.The questions we wanted to answer were: ? How is the library Blog realized at the public libraries in this study? ? What are the views among the librarians in this study regarding the realization of the library Blogs?The analytical model in this thesis is Connie Crosby?s six steps on how libraries successfully can realize their Blogs. Four of the six steps were selected: planning, implementation, marketing and measures of success. The methodology used for this study was semi-structured interviews. Two interviews were conducted with three librarians that have partial responsibility of their respective library Blogs.The results of the study show that the process of the library Blog can look different in different libraries, and that the respondents had clear views on how the realization of a Blog should be done.

Purpose/Aim: To find power structures within the Blog network.Material/Method: Using keywords to find all available Blog posts about the National Defence Radio Establishment from the Blog search engine Twingly, and thereafter using the same Blog search engine to find inlinks from other Blogs, to those posts. The data is set into the context of the small-world networks models of Duncan J. Watts and rich-club models of Sergi Valverde och Ricard V. Sole.Main results: 5183 unique Blogs have written about the subject in 22779 Blog posts to which 28128 inlinks from other Blogposts are made. Just over one fifth of the Blogs are linkted to each other in one big network, where the remaining Blogs stand without any ingoing or outgoing links.

Elib och folkbibliotek - En studie av de åsikter och argument som yttrats om e-böckernas distribution och framtid på folkbiblioteken

The purpose of this paper is to study the ongoing discussion concerning e-books at Swedish public libraries. The e-booksituation has as of late gained a lot attention in the media. The main distributor of e-book in Sweden - Elib - is in the centreof this discussion and our goal has been to study the opinions and arguments that have been expressed within articles and Blog postsconcerning the situation.We have analysed our articles and Blog posts through a qualitative text analysis in order to find the main problems of the e-bookdiscussion and which arguments are used. We have also studied the effect Elib might have on the libraries' collection developmentaccording to the articles and Blog posts.We found that the major issues within the e-book situation include Elib's price model - which is costly for the libraries - thewatermarking and the selection of books available to the libraries. It is also considered, according to the author's of our articles and Blog posts, that the collections at the libraries are affected byElib's system since the choice of which books to include is given to the publishers, not the libraries or its users.The articles and Blog posts agree that a change needs to occur for the e-books future survival at the public libraries..

Papers has the ability to disappear, a Blog collects all in one place. Today, almost everything is digitized.This study has examined what a Blog is and how schools and preschools can use it. The Blog is used as a communication site for the preschools and school. This exam graduate work is made of three Blog analysis, the analysis is made to see if the Blogs can help the preschool and school to communicate wiht the parents.The theory I have decided to use in this study is the sociocultural theory.
