Med utgångspunkt i rollteorins begrepp position och roll undersöks i uppsatsen hur individen intar enposition och på så sätt kan spela den roll som tillhör positionen. Att människor spelar roller i olikasammanhang är inget nytt, men frågan är hur de går tillväga. I uppsatsen intervjuas tre skådespelare som samtliga är fast anställda på en medelstor institutionsteater i Sverige. Intervjuerna fokuserarfrämst på repetitionsperioden och hur samspelet mellan person och roll fungerar i skådespelarensarbete med en pjäs. Dessa intervjuer analyseras sedan med utgångspunkt i rollteorin och med hjälpav ytterligare teorier, främst socialpsykologiska.

Var tredje person får beskedet cancer. Det här innebär att en hel familj kan komma att påverkas, vilket kan skapa ett lidande i förhållande till vården, sjukdomen, livet och vardagen, samt det existentiella. Syftet med studien är att belysa lidandet hos närstående till en cancersjuk person. Material samlades in genom att läsa nio utvalda bloggar där närstående skrev om sitt lidande i relation till den cancersjuka personen. I studien användes en deduktiv analys utifrån Erikssons (1994) teori om lidande.

The aim with our paper has been to get a picture of which factors one of the heterogeneous group that we've chosen of old persons, 75-90 years, in Scania, in south Sweden, have experienced to be of importance for their life quality today and what they wish to preserve of their actual life style when they eventually shall use the elderly care. Also how their individual life course has influenced their experience of the quality of life.We found this subject interesting as the group of old people in the society is constantly increasing and when the group becomes bigger, then greater demands will be put on the elderly care. We have proceeded from a standpoint that all people are unique individuals and that people become what they are from their life histories and from the choices they have made during their life. We have used the life course theory that says that one should see the individual in his/her wholeness and the whole life history of a person in order to understand him/her. We have also studied earlier research concerning the different determinants of the life quality.

När en svår händelse gör det besvärligt eller omöjligt att leva ett normalt liv kan det röra sig om posttraumatiskt stressyndrom (PTSD). Syndromet kan utvecklas efter att man blivit utsatt eller bevittnat en traumatisk händelse som orsakat fysiska eller psykiska skador eller då en person känt sig allvarligt hotad. Vi har i vår studie undersökt om poliser kan ge uttryck av samma symtom som uppvisas då en person diagnostiseras av Posttraumatiskt stressyndrom. Vi har tagit del av en mängd litteratur och artiklar samt gjort en enkätstudie på några poliser där resultatet visade att poliser kommer i kontakt med påfrestande händelser som ibland lämnar efterverkningar. I arbetet har vi därefter diskuterat om det kan föreligga en koppling mellan kriminalitet och PTSD även hos poliser så som tidigare studier har uppgett föreligga som orsak till vissa brott.

Bullying is a widespread problem that currently exists in many places and in different age groups. In our paper we intend to focus on bullying in adult life. As many as 340,000 adult persons are subjected to victimization in the form of bullying, which is about 9 % of the working population. Between 100 and 300 cases of all suicides committed in Sweden can be linked to bullying. Bullying is a social problem that should be taken more seriously than it does.

In this study, the aim is to show how the social services fails to implement a specific rights law (LSS) wich is supposed to have the function of protecting the wellfare and provide specific rights to people with severe mental disabilities. By applying chritical theory on this case the aim is to provide an alternative answer on why it is possible for the social services to ignore these peoples rights.By revealing the power structures in the encounter between the system and a person with mental dissablilities, I conclude that people with mental disabilities does not fit in when it comes the social sevices way of implementing the law and further more that a private person is extreamly exposed to the systems arbitrariness..

The aim of this study is to examine if and how the diagnosis of ADHD is important for the social practice delimitation to obtain an understanding of how the sorting and categorization of clients affects the distribution of resources. In a qualitative approach, the study is based on eight semi-structured interviews in five different social practices. Young adults diagnosed with ADHD who need society's help and support, constituted our focus in the study. The selection is based on gaining an understanding of how the client process proceeds. The interviews were supplemented with documents, such as legal and internal methodological support.

The process of gift-giving is something that occurs all around the world, and most people are both givers and receivers of gifts. While receiving a gift is often associated with joyous feelings, purchasing and giving a gift may not generate the same feelings. The worries of giving a gift may include anguish of finding the right gift for the right person, and not to mention it shall be appropriate given the situation. This paper aims to describe consumer attitudes in various gift-giving occasions. To give another perspective the paper also discusses and describes the term of self-gifting, when the giver and receiver is the same person - you.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish laws regulate the proactive work of employers to prevent employees from getting sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of sex. The purpose is also to investigate how employers are supposed to handle employees whom have been sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of sex. Sweden has a segregated labor market which means that women and men tends to select different professions. This leaves marks on the equality for women and men, which also has effect on the fact that women and men are being harassed in the workplace or situations associated with the work. By investigating genderresearch I am hoping to find out why more employees get sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of their sex in segregated professions.The definition of sexual harassment is unwanted behavior that alludes on sex, and thereby violates the person?s dignity.

Bakgrund: När beslutet att flytta in på ett särskilt boende fattats förändras livssituationen för både den som drabbats av demens som för de anhöriga.Syftet: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att studera och beskriva anhörigas upplevelser i samband med att en person som drabbats av demens flyttar in på ett särskilt boende. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt. Litteratur­sökningarna gjordes i databaserna Medline och Cinahl efter relevanta artiklar. Sökord som användes var relatives, experience, caregivers burden, coping, dementia, nursing home, placement, decision, Sweden, family caregivers. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

In my essay the dilemmas originate from what I have experienced. I have observed myself and some of my colleagues, how we meet children who are lacking the qualifications which school and most pedagogues expect them to have. Focus, in my written experiences, is on children who live in poverty, but how we meet and act toward them is often quite the same independent of what qualifications they are lacking. With the support from literature and theories I reflect and analyse the dilemmas. Through essaywriting I investigate my practical knowledge and I examine how we as pedagogues handle the complex situations encounter when in school and how it is possible to understand why we act the way we do.I think that the knowledge which essaywriting gives me will strengthen me as a person and in my work as a teacher for after-school-center.

Background Being outdoors on a regular basis is beneficial for all individuals, people with dementia who is living in special accommodation have not always that possibility. If the person with dementia live in a stimulating environment can contribute to the person's functions are maintained. Aim To provide a basis for evaluation of a new outdoor environment at a special accommodation for people with dementia. Method of data collection in action research was done through focus group with staff on the accommodation and the participants in the project, a total of five informants. Results Informants thoughts and experiences were analyzed and divided into three main categories to describe the project - design, obstacles and goals.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how consumer advertising has an effect on other groups than the intended, the so-called extended audience of advertising. Previous research shows that consumer advertising can influence investors and employees of a company as well as affect the attractiveness of a company as a potential employer. In addition, research shows that more perceived cognitive effort in advertising results in positive signaling effects for consumers. This study aims to further build on these concepts in order to gain additional understanding of how consumer advertising can influence extended audiences. More specifically, it examines if more (versus less) effort in advertising can improve the future prospects on the labor market for an employee of the advertising company, by looking at recruitment consultants as an extended audience.

Bakgrunden beskriver att det i samhället finns en stereotyp av hur människor med schizofreni är. Studien behandlar begreppen kommunikation, livsvärld, sjukdomslidande och subjektiv kropp. Tidigare studier har visat att personer som lever med schizofreni kan ha problem i det sociala samspelet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur livsvärlden upplevs av en person med schizofreni. Metoden som användes var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie på en självbiografisk bok, skriven av en person som lever med schizofreni.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person som har sjukdomen demens. Fjorton artiklar analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilket resulterade i fem kategorier: att känna ständig oro och skuld, att roller och relationer förändras, att kunskap och stöd underlättar situationen, att se personen förändras känns fruktansvärt och att ha kontroll över situationen ger styrka. Närstående upplevde en ständig oro och skuld gentemot personen med demens vilket ledde till bland annat sömnsvårigheter, maktlöshet och frustration. Hela livet förändrades i samband med sjukdomenoch närstående kände sig mer isolerade, hemmabundna och upplevde förlust av sitt sociala liv. Att leva med en person som har sjukdomen demens innebar även mycket sorg över personens minnesförlust och förändrade personlighet.
