This essay aims to investigate the use of an origin-ID within the Beaker Complex, as defined by John C. Barrett, seen through their different expressions of use in ceramic form and ornamentation, architecture and landscape through time and space with special emphasis on the late Neolihtics in the South of England. The analytic vehicle "the reinforcing circle" is used as a new diffusion model suggested by Stuart Needham, and the analytic tool "incubation" is used to structure the process the Beaker-cultures may have used to reach cultural hegemony. Id est, that the Beaker-cultures socially invites already existing cultures, offering within family and trading the results of new technolo­gies. And/or, occupy the space and use the authority needed by re-writing the narrative as seen in the grave use and grave deposits.

AbstractMy purpose with this study is to find out if it helps children who have diffuculties with their concentration if they get to practise their motor behaviour knowledge during their day at the school to promote their learning capacity. My purpose is also to find out how schools works with motor behaviour training. To get answers to my questions have I done interviews with four educationalists and I have also used books and internet sites. Motor behaviour is of importance to how children learn things in the school, without a well working motor children gets difficulties to sit still and to concentrate. The children may put their energy at the wrong things in the classroom, when the energy instead should be need to learning things.

The purpose with this paper is to examine whether other peoples opinions of a song and an artist influences an individuals own opinions of the song and artist. Through a quantitative study we seek to study whether such an influence exists and if it does, how strong that influence is. The study began with a pretest to examine whether differences existed when we manipulated our independent variable, how many times the song has been played at Myspace.com. Subsequently we performed a quantitative study by handing out surveys to students at Stockholm School of Economics on two different occasions. Our results show no significant differences in attitude or intentions when the amount of times the song has been played at Myspace.com is manipulated.

SammandragSyftet med den här rapporten är att visa hur lärare vid en skola i Sverige och en i Kenya tänker och arbetar med läs-och skrivinlärning samt beskriva hur de upplever att utomliggande faktorer kan påverka undervisningen. För att genomföra studien har en kombination av kvalitativa intervjuer och ostrukturerade observationer använts. Intervjuerna har utförts på fyra pedagoger, två svenska och två kenyanska som undervisar mot förskolan till årskurs tre. Observationerna har utförts på samma skolor och vid sex tillfällen, tre på vardera skola. I resultatet kan man ta del av kontraster och likheter mellan den svenska och kenyanska skolan.

Bakgrund: Höga ljudnivåer på postoperativa avdelningar har visat sig öka utsöndring av stresshormoner hos patienter. Med insikt om hur musik som omvårdnadsåtgärd påverkar patienten postoperativt, kan omvårdnadspersonalen försöka göra den postoperativa vården så angenäm som möjligt.Syfte: Att belysa musikens inverkan på postoperativa avdelningar ? ur ett patientperspektiv.Metod: Litteraturstudie baserat på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserats systematiskt.Resultat: Det framkom att musik kan användas som omvårdnadsåtgärd för att minska stress, oro och smärtupplevelse postoperativt. Patienterna upplevde att musik kan bidra till ett ökat välbefinnande och reducera upplevelsen av störande ljud.Konklusion: Omvårdnadspersonalen bör få ökad kunskap om musikens betydelse postoperativt ur ett holistiskt synsätt, då musik är en enkel och kostnadseffektiv omvårdnadsåtgärd.Nyckelord: Postoperativ, musik, omvårdnad, litteraturstudie.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur musiklärare i Namibia förhåller sig till läroplaner och ämnets förutsättningar och hur det påverkar deras uppfattning om musikutbildning. Studien är en undersökning om vilka tyngdpunkterna i de namibiska styrdokumenten i ämnet musik är. Vi har undersökt hur kursplanen tolkas i teorin och i praktiken av lärare. Dessutom har vi undersökt vilka ramfaktorer som är rådande för en musiklärare i Namibia och hur dessa faktorer påverkar undervisningen. Denna studie bygger på sociokulturell teori och ramfaktorsteori.

Syftet med denna studie är att ge en insikt i hur elever med kombinerade läs- och skriv och matematiksvårigheter tänker och resonerar vid problemlösning.Tre elever i år 8, som alla ingår i samma specialundervisningsgrupp i matematik, har arbetat med olika typer av matematisk problemlösning, såväl individuellt som i grupp. Med utgångspunkt i deras arbete skapas början till en grundad teori.I forskningssammanhang behandlas ofta denna kategori elever (med kombinerade problem) som en enhetlig kategori som jämförs med t ex elever med enbart matematiksvårigheter, normalpresterande elever osv. Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka musikens funktion för människor och deras relation till musik, låttext och attribut i kontakt med musik i olika sammanhang. En empirisk undersökning i intervjuform har gjorts bland fyra akademiker från fyra olika studieområden, två kvinnor och två män. De fyra akademikerna har gemensamt att de lever på samma område och att de under fritiden kommer i kontakt med, både med varandra och med musikgenren dance musik. Undersökningen fokuseras därför på dessa akademikers förhållande till och användning av dance och vad för funktioner musiken har för dem. The purpose of this study is to show and explain how and why Swedish young people use Youtube.We conducted a written survey, asking approximately 120 students between the ages 16 and 18. The survey was carried out in the classrooms in order to receive answers from as many students as possible. We then interviewed six of them to gain further knowledge of why they use Youtube the way they do.The survey showed that Youtube is used by all of the students and very frequently by most of them. Comedy and music videos are by far the most popular genres that are viewed. In most cases watching video clips on Youtube is a social activity, often combined with both talking about clips and sending and receiving video links to and from friends.

In this master thesis I investigate different views on literary quality in two quite different library journals; Biblioteksbladet and Bibliotek i Samhälle. One aim of the study is to see whether the ambiguity of the term literary quality is considered. Since there is no universally accepted definition of literary quality to be found the analysis is inspired by discourse analysis. This theoretical frame work starts off in the assumption that our views of the world are much dependent the way we describe it. The work of Finnish scholar Sanna Talja is presented and the results of this thesis are compared with the three perspectives on music culture that are presented in her book.

This assignment is a venture into the use of the concept alchemy in the texts on analytical psychology written by Carl G. Jung. Originally the idea was to compare the blending of colours in art painting with the Jungian understanding of alchemy. In order to understand the many and it seems differentiated correlations to alchemy in the texts on analytical psychology written by C.G. Jung, I have found it necessary to investigate the history of alchemy in modern Europe and the Egyptian figure of Hermes Trismegistos.

Studiens syfte är att se ifall det är möjligt att under en kortare tid bli en bättre a-vistaläsare. För att underso?ka detta har jag under en åttaveckorsperiod övat a-vista 15 minuter per dag, med hjälp av en bok just för a-vistaläsning. Ett urval av dessa övningstillfällen har jag videofilmat. Jag har också använt mig av loggbok för att dokumentera mina upplevelser av min egen process.

This study is about how eurhythmic teachers create a comfortable and educational environment in their classrooms. In other words how they create a healthy working environment. Four teachers were chosen for the study, one of them male. I?ve used qualitative interviews because I believe it's the best method to collect information that illustrates what a teacher's working situation looks like and what he/she does to realize their own ideas.
