Millions of animals are annually affected by human activities; in the food industry, zoos and animal shows, clothes and shoes production, furniture and pharmaceutical industry, research, as well as pet and sports animal industry. Companies working with Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, have become more common and within this area there are great possibilities for companies to work with animal welfare. In this study five companies were interviewed and 27 companies participated in a survey regarding CSR and animal welfare. The aim of this study was to investigate opinion and approach among companies towards implementing animal welfare as a part of their work with CSR. Furthermore the aim of the study was to investigate how companies may implement animal welfare. The result showed that the vast majority of the companies participating in the study works with CSR and the main part of the companies also answered that they have implemented animal welfare. I vårt examensarbete valde vi att belysa stress som är ett fenomen som har brett ut sig till alla samhällskategorier och kommit långt ner i åldrarna. Som gymnasielärare möter man dagligen ungdomar som påstår att de är stressade och uppvisar tecken på psykosomatiska besvär. Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka om det föreligger någon stress bland gymnasieelever idag med utgångspunkt i deras livssituation samt identifiera de orsakande faktorerna till ungdomsstress och de psykosomatiska besvär som är relaterade till den. För att uppnå vårt syfte använde vi oss av följande tre frågeställningar: Upplever gymnasieelever stress och finns det ett samband mellan upplevd stress och psykosomatiska besvär, vilka faktorer orsakar stress hos gymnasieelever idag, och hur hanteras stress av gymnasieelever? Fokus i vår undersökning ligger på skolan, hemmet och fritiden.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka samband mellan grupputveckling och stress, grupputveckling och emotionell utmattning samt stress och emotionell utmattning, bland produktionsgrupper i en svensk tillverkningsindustri. Data insamladesgenom självskattningsformulär vid två mättillfällen, där 112 (1 009gruppmedlemmar) respektive 98 (823 gruppmedlemmar) grupper deltog.Forskare inom ett interventionsprojekt hanterade datainsamlingen. Pearsons r beräknades och resultaten visade negativa samband mellan grupputveckling och stress, negativa samband mellan grupputvecklingoch emotionell utmattning samt positiva samband mellan stress och emotionell utmattning. Slutsatser var att gruppmedlemmar av mer utvecklade grupper upplevde mindre stress respektive emotionell utmattning och mindre stressade gruppmedlemmar upplevde även mindre emotionell utmattning och vice versa. Resultaten överensstämmer med tidigare, liknande studiers resultat..

Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka hur vuxna invandrare upplever sin stress, sina stressreaktioner samt hur de hanterar sin stress. För att uppfylla detta användes en kvalitativ metod. Utifrån de presenterade teorierna formulerades ett halv-strukturerat intervjuformulär för att få informanterna att fritt berätta om sina egna upplevelser av stress. I undersökningen deltog 11 personer i åldrarna 21-60 år. Åtta av informanterna var kvinnor och tre var män.

The purpose of this thesis is to achieve a greater understanding of how the social workers at the family unit in one of Stockholm municipalities comprehend the work environment at the workplace. Our aim is also to find out how the work environment can affect the health of the social workers in the form of their wellbeing and comfort at the workplace. In order to answer our purpose we conducted interviews of all social workers at the family unit in one of Stockholm municipalities that describe how they experience the work-environment in the workplace and how it influences their health.  We have analyzed the interview material in a thematic analysis based on three theoretical perspectives; SOC, claim ? control - support and Human relations. We have also coupled the interview material to the background chapter in this thesis that describes how a good working environment should be structured.  The chosen method characterizes an abductive process.
