En fallstudie av normativ kontroll på ett telemarketingföretag : En diskursanalytisk studie av etik som motiv till övervakning och styrning
The strive for control over employees has developed throughout the years. This paper has its focus on how normative control can work as a powerful method to create and uphold a sought for behavior. Many companies have found an interest in a higher moral stance to get competitive advantages, and offer their customers and partners a more ethical product. This phenomenon has in Sweden resulted in a sphere of companies who has earned the R-licens. The R-licens is earned by companies if they fulfill ethical and cultural criteria.
Ambulanssjuksköterskors upplevelser av stress inom ambulanssjukvården
Specialistsjuksköterskor inom ambulanssjukvård har ett stort ansvar att ge kvalificerad omvårdnad till svårt sjuka patienter och komplicerade olycksfall. Vid dessa situationer finns det möjlighet att uppleva stress. Syftet med denna intervjustudie var att beskriva ambulanssjuksköterskors upplevelse av stress i ambulanssjukvården och hur stress kan påverka den prehospitala vården. I intervjustudien har åtta ambulanssjuksköterskor intervjuats. Intervjutexten har sedan analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.
Behovet av kontroll bland intagna i fängelse : Samband mellan stress och hälsoångest bland intagna i kriminalvården
Syftet var att undersöka samband mellan stress, hälsoångest, sjukvårdsbesök samt läkemedelsförbrukning i fängelsemiljö. Respondenterna var 66 män i åldrarna 21 - 68 år med avtjänade straff från en månad till tretton år och nio månader. Studien baserades på självskattningsfrågeformulär vilket mäter stress (Perceived Stress Scale, PSS ) och hälsoångest (Health Anxiety Inventory, Short Version, SHAI). Dataanalyser kontrollerade samband, predicerbarhet och interaktionseffekter. Resultatet påvisade samband och predicerbarhet mellan stress och hälsoångest samt med hur ofta intagna besöker sjukmottagningen men inget samband med förbrukning av läkemedel.
Ger det fria arbetet frihet : En studie om balans mellan arbete och privatliv
This qualitative study treats the construction and maintenance of balance between work and private life and how flexibility in the workplace is perceived. The study was conducted using semi-structured interviews and these have been conducted in five large companies around Gothenburg. The analysis and results are based on the phenomenographic method approach and the final results were four themes: Balance, Flexibility, Combining family and work and lifelong learning with related subcategories. The result shows that the construction and maintenance of balance between work and personal life is something that is tied to the indi-viduals and the current situation in life. Two of the most common strategies to maintain a dis-tinction proved to be planning as well as other activities, in order to move the focus away from the work.
Depression och stress hos kranskärlspatienter
Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur vanligt det är med stress och depression efter genomgången hjärtinfarkt. Vidare planeras att undersöka samband mellan stress och depression samt också eventuella skillnader mellan könen för hur stress och depression upplevs efter genomgången hjärtinfarkt.Metod: Patienter som varit inlagda för hjärtinfarkt vid Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala inkluderas i studien. Patienterna skall ha genomgått hjärtinfarkt och/eller PCI och/eller CABG. De tre enkäterna Vardagslivets stress, Känsloläge samt MADRS användes. Frekvenser och korrelationer beräknades med IBM SPSS Statistics version 19.

During the autumn of 2007 I carried out an investigation within the bank and finance Sector. The aim of the investigation was to see how informal aspects could be understood in relation to equality within Bank AB? The main question was: Which are the obstacles and opportunities for equality within Bank AB? To answer the main question I asked the following questions to the material: Are there any gender related different within the organization? How are men and women represented within the internal magazine? Which are the conceptions related to sex/gender within the organization? The investigation is based on a survey, the internal magazine was investigated and finally interviews took place. Throughout the investigation I used organization theory in a gender perspective. With the gender organization theory I examined concepts as structures, leadership, symbolism and changes associated with equality.
Hur kan ledare motivera vardagsarbetet? : En fallstudie om Clas Ohlson
This bachelor thesis discus how store managers at Clas Ohlson motivate their co-workers at their everyday work.Motivation at work is essential, since engaging co-works makes the everyday routine work more effective. Otherwise that type of work can easily lead to unhappiness at the workplace which leads to less motivated workers, poor performance, even less motivated workers and this will start a negative circle.Other studies has shown that to in order to be pleased at a workplace and to keep qualified co-workers, the leaders needs to have knowledge in how they can use different techniques to increase staff motivation, but still motivation is not considered being an economic means of control. This has made me think about how leaders can motivate their workers at their everyday work.The questions at issue are:o How can leaders motivate co-workers in everyday work,o Which preferences the leaders consider control the individual motivation ando Which methods they can use to increase the motivation in the routine work.The purpose with this thesis is to study how leaders use their leadership to motivate workers to perform everyday work with more enthusiasm. To answer the question I have interviewed store managers at Clas Ohlson.In this thesis I have used a qualitative method, and I have compared relevant theories with the interviews I have done. Thus primary data has been gained through one-to-one interviews but also through mail interviews.
Acne Jeans och Öresund: Hur förändras verksamhetsstyrningen i ett kreativt modeföretag när det inleder samarbete med ett riskkapitalbolag?
We have performed a case study on Acne Jeans, a creative Swedish fashion company, which initiated a cooperation with the Swedish venture capital firm Öresund. The aim of our paper was to examine what motivates a venture capital firm to transform the management control system of a creative company, into a more formal system of control. Main results: Öresund did not have an excessive impact on the management control system of Acne Jeans, due to three main reasons. First of all, Acne Jeans had a satisfactory management control system prior to the cooperation. Furthermore, the relationship between the two parties was characterized by mutual trust.
E-postens påverkan på den psykosociala arbetsmiljön
Teknikens utveckling har medfört att de flesta organisationer använder e-post, eftersom den är snabb och enkel att använda. Flera tidigare studier har visat att e-post skapar stress i arbetslivet. Syftet är att undersöka om e-post är förenat med upplevd stress samt vilka av faktorerna krav, kontroll och socialt stöd som korrelerar med dessa upplevelser. I studien undersöktes även om anställda känner sig stressade i sina arbeten. Studien bygger på en enkät med 50 deltagare från tre olika organisationer.

AbstractWith the murder of Fadime in 2002 honor killings and honour related oppression became a subject of wide public debate. The question was raised whether the Swedish social services had the knowledge and the resources necessary to face the issue with honor related oppression.This study is about the views on honor related oppression among oppressed women and professional social workers and aims to explore the relationship between social worker and client in an honor related context. Does the risk of culture clashes pose a problem in dealing with the Swedish authorities and do Swedish social workers have the necessary tools to help the, often young, oppressed women that seek their aid? This is a qualitative study based on five individual interviews: Two former victims of honour related oppression, two professional social workers and one relative of a young girl who was the victim of an honor killing.Observations:The social workers found that they had adequate resources at hand but that awareness among employees in the social services needed to be improved.The clients felt that the help they?ve received from the social services was helpful but that more information to the public about available resources was necessary along with a better understanding of the differences between their own culture and that of the Swedish society. The clients expressed that the realization that they were being oppressed didn?t come overnight.

The accounting scandals that have attracted attention in recent years have led to internal control becoming a more central part of business activity. Doubts about what firms actually do have increased, all caused by the attention of accounting scandals. To counter this, frameworks and laws evolved and gained a significant role in the organization and its surroundings. The aim of the present study is to find out how four companies in the Kristianstad region are working to ensure its internal control and how they work to minimize risk and reduce uncertainty. We have used a qualitative method and interviewed a person in a senior position in each company.

Bakgrund: Stress innebär att det råder en obalans mellan krav och de förutsättningar människan har att hantera dessa krav. Stress har existerat så länge människan existerat, då stress tillhör människans överlevnadsinstinkt. Stressen har dock förändrats och ökat över tid. Skolungdomar som upplever stress är vanligt förekommande och skapar hälsoproblem som ständigt ökar. Långvarig stress har både en fysiologisk och psykologisk påverkan på människan.
Elever och stress: en undersökning om vilka faktorer elever
i år fyra och fem upplever som stress i skolan
Vi gjorde en undersökning med syfte att ta reda på vilka faktorer i lärandet som orsakar stress bland elever i år 4 och 5. Efter att ha varit ute på verksamhetsförlagd utbildning i olika skolor har vi upplevt stress hos elever och har då funderat över vad som är stressande hos eleverna. Vi genomförde undersökningen med en enkät samt intervjuer med eleverna för att få fram svaren vi behövde till vår undersökning. Resultatet visade att matematik upplevdes som det mest stressande av alla ämnen i skolan. Eleverna upplevde att de inte har tid för allt de ville eller borde göra och att det kunde vara svårt att hinna med arbetstakten i skolan..
Sjuksköterskors arbetsmiljö inom slutenvård och äldreomsorg : En litteraturstudie
AbstractThe aim of this study was to illuminate and collect existing research from the beginning of the 21 st century about nurses work environment in institutional and elderly care in Sweden.A literature review was made by analyzing eleven scientific articles. The result showed mainly information about nurses work load. The information dealt with high work demands, too much responsibility, shortage of staff, time press and stress. Furthermore nurses reported a lack of co-operation between staff and management. An important part in nurses? work was appreciation from colleagues, management, patients and relatives.
