A unified model of stress and affect consciousness was proposed. The connection between affect consciousness and perceived stress was studied. Teachers (n = 19) were interviewed using Monsens affect interview, followed one month later by a questionnaire containing Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-S, STAI-T) and Twenty Item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).Statistical analysis showed no connections between level of total affect consciousness and perceived stress. Though there were some indications of a negative relationship between affect consciousness and trait anxiety. There were also indications, using a complementary analysis, of a connection between level of affect consciousness on the subscale distress in the interview and perceived stress.

Att jobba som distriktssköterska innebär ett mycket brett arbetsfält med stort kontaktnät. Syftet med denna studie var att ta reda på om distriktssköterskor upplever stress i sitt arbete med fokus på hur den yttrar sig och hanteras. Resultatet av vår studie visar att stress som beror på känslor av krav och otillräcklighet är vanligt förekommande. Det tycks yttra sig både fysiskt och psykiskt i huvudvärk, trötthet samt magproblem. Genom stöd från kollegor, gemenskap med andra och motion hanteras stressen individuellt..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få fram hur elever upplever och definierar stress, vad som bidrar till stress enligt eleverna själva samt hur eleverna hanterar sin stress. Vidare är det intressant att jämföra och se om elevers upplevelser kring stress stämmer överens med den redan existerande forskningen. Metoden som används i uppsatsen är en kvalitativ metod och som utgår utifrån kvalitativa intervjuer. De kvalitativa intervjuerna erbjuder möjligheter att fånga upp infomanternas upplevelsers kring stress, vilket i sin tur leder till att en jämförelse med den redan existerande forskningen kan göras. I uppsatsens tidigare forskning och teoridel används relevant litteratur som berör stress, olika definitioner av stress, stressorer, positiv och negativ stress, åtgärder för att motverka stress samt stresshantering.

Municipal safety work is an issue frequently discussed. The new legislation about accident prevention obeys the Swedish municipality to present an action program for accident prevention. In Borlänge municipality there has been no sanctioned proposal for a program. This report presents the problems found and gives proposals for improvements in the future safety work. The guiding words should be unambiguousness, able to control and not too complicated.

Värnamo Elnät owns and operates a ripple control system which is used to control loadsespecially when the grid is heavily loaded and for control of street lighting. This report aims atclarifying technical and economic aspects of the ripple control system?s future. The system wasinstalled from 1975 and onwards and its use was greater in those days when the controllableloads where greater then today, the current controllable load level is about 3 MW. The reporthighlights three different aspects of the ripple control system?s future ? retain the currentsystem, reinvest in a newer system or discontinue the system.In the report the author also discusses relevant connections to Smart Grids and future meteringsystems and tariffs.

Because of the increasing complexity to operate sport associations some are experiencing serious financial problems. The daily financial work has a major impact on how the future unfolds for the sport associations. An adverse economy not only creates complications in the economic field, it also affects the sport itself. Purpose: Our purpose with this paper is to describe and explain how the economy is controlled in non-profit sport associations and the tool that is used to support this process.

The purpose of this essay was to examine whether small businesses can avoid ac-counting crimes with a well-conducted internal control system. The questions we asked ourselves was, whether and if so, companies can prevent this from happening by using a internal control.In this essay we used a qualitative approach. Essential information was given to us from four different interviewees. We also worked from an inductive approach which means that we interviewed people without any earlier research to build on. The method also had a hermeneutical approach, which means that we made different interpretations based on the reference framework and the empirics.After the study had been carried out, we concluded that all evidence from this essay suggested that even small businesses need an internal control to protect their business.

The aim of this paper is to examine how boys in grade nine experience and handle stress, to find reasons why stress occur and what help the boys can get to handle stress in a good way. Our supervisor was Gunilla Lindén. In our study we used qualitative interviews to answer these questions. We interviewed four fifteen- to sixteen-year-old boys and two recreation in-structors. We also conducted a group interview with the boys.

Stress och sjukskrivningar i samband med stress har ökat radikalt de senaste åren. Arbetsbelastningen och kraven på individer ute i arbetslivet verkar ha blivit allt svårare att klara av. Detta examensarbete handlar om en grupp studie- och yrkesvägledare och deras relation till stressutlösande faktorer. Jag har utifrån en kvantitativ enkät undersök-ning försökt få svar på min problemformulering om i vilka avseende upplever studie- och yrkesvägledare negativ stress och hur kan de upplevda stressreaktionerna knytas till den subjektiva arbetssituationen? Jag kommer i denna uppsats att presentera att studie- och yrkesvägledare är en yrkes-grupp som mår förvånansvärt bra.

Digitization is a concept that has become popular in terms of collections of old heritage-related material such as books, photographs and paper documents. This work is a study of the Swedish composer Allan Pettersson (1911?1980) and his personal archive stored at Section for Manuscripts and Music at Uppsala University Library. My issues are What happens to the archive of the digitized? Will there be a "new" archive of the digitized? What guidelines are Uppsala University Library using for their digitizing and how do they look? What will be the result after digitization? What about copyright and the material? Allan Pettersson's personal papers consist a large collection of sketches of musical notes, newspaper clippings and concert programs.

Stress är ett ämne som det talas flitigt om i dagens samhälle. En hög stressnivå kan enligt tidigare forskning ha en negativ inverkan på vår hälsa. Syftet med studien var att se om det fanns någon skillnad i stressnivå mellan studenter som har extrajobb och de som inte har det. En av hypoteserna i studien var att studerande kvinnor har en högre stressnivå än studerande män. En enkät delades ut, Perceived stress scale (PSS), till 137 studenter varav 89 män och 48 kvinnor.

This thesis considers the development of the software for an, newly developed, embedded real-time control system, based on a Periferal Interface Controller (PIC). The control system is developed to be used for several different applications. In this thesis work, software for two different applications are developed. The first task is a time controlled system, while the other task is implementation of aPI-/PID-controller. A user interface is also developed and implemented.The time controlled system is an automatic horse feeder, which is used for feeding horses at certain predefined points in time.

Stress är någonting som blir vanligare bland barn idag. Sygte med denna undersökning är att få kunskap om förskollärares tankar kring barn och stress i förskolan. Syftet är också att bidra till kvalitet och utveckling inom förskolans verksamhet. Med detta arbete tiktas intresset på förskollärares tankar kring stress hos yngre barn och hur vi som arbetar med barn kan arbeta förebygande i förskoleverksamheten samt se och förstå de signaler barn ger ifrån sig.Undersökningen utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, här beskrivs hur samhällets utveckling påverkar oss människor. Vidare beskrivs förskolans utvekling genom tiderna och hur stress idag påverkas av denna utvekling.

A major issue that has been a subject for quite some time is whether there will be a scarcity of metals in the bedrock in the future and whether or not we might end up with a problem similar to that of the big oil crisis in the mid-seventies. Following the oil crisis many oil companies started up with risk management to control future risks. This work presents how Swedish mining companies work with risk management to handle risks that might come up in the future due to metal scarceness. How Swedish mining companies look at the possible metal scarceness and if they use risk management in their decision-making process is studied. By doing interviews with Swedish owned mining companies it was found that the mining companies did not see the future metal scarcity as a risk, even though 2/3 of the companies acknowledged the scarceness to be a reality.
