I detta examensarbete har vi undersökt vad som motiverar individer till att studera friluftslivskurser vid Högskolan i Kalmar, vi ville också ta reda på om det fanns några skillnader till motivationen om vi ser på kön eller åldersskillnader. Studien är tänkt som en del av ett forskningsarbete som kommer att bedrivas på Högskolan i Kalmar (Blivande Linneuniversitetet) vi har i denna studie valt att uppmärksamma vilken form av motivation som driver studenterna under utbildningen.I bakgrunden berörs tidigare forskning gällande olika motivationsteorier med anknytning till lärande. Vidare lyfter vi också fram forskning om vuxenutbildning och vad som motiverar till aktiviteter inom friluftsliv. Undersökningen bedrevs kvantitativt och data samlades in i form av en enkätundersökning. I vår kvantitativa undersökning bearbetade vi 70 enkäter som var fullständigt ifyllda. I undersökningen deltog 38 kvinnor och 32män mellan 19 år och 51 år. Resultatet redovisas i form av diagram som antingen berör inre motivation eller amotivation.

According to our apprehension, work of integration is commonly considered managed in the main best through the labour market. Since this path is not available to everybody we wanted to find out how work of integration also can be practised in other areas. The purpose of this paper is to, with focus on children and youth, find out and analyze in what way the people working locally in residential areas and in associations, reflects around integration in general and within their own business, plus in what way they pursue local work of integration practically. The method we have used is qualitative, with unstructured, individual interviews. Our seven respondents within local authority, church and sport clubs, have told us about their work from a perspective of integration.

While the call for regulations against greenhouse gas emissions are louder then ever before, demand for oil is also at an all time high. Oil companies face the dilemma of making sound business without being perceived as environmental villains. In this essay I will examine how BP, one of the largest companies in the world, broke rank with the industry and devoted itself to being an environmental friendly oil company. The actions and motives of this change will be evaluated through up-to-date theories about company motivation to environmental adaptation. We see that BP:s transformation can be well explained through Simone Pulvers theory about the socially embedded company.

The purpose of the present quantitative study was to examine gender differences inperceived job satisfaction in two departments, with different work patterns, in a Swedishmanufacturing industry. The questionnaire contained 30 statements and five backgroundquestions. The questionnaire was designed in combination of Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS),Work demands, Social support, Control and Competence (ASK), Questionnaire forPsychological and Social factors at Work (QPS Nordic) and Minnesota SatisfactionQuestionnaire (MSQ). Job satisfaction was measured based on the categories influence atwork, leadership, employee influence, work requirements and the physical environment. Theresults of the present study showed an interaction of gender and department where the femaleindustrial workers, who worked with more monotonous and standardized work tasks, valuedall of the categories of job satisfaction the lowest, except for the category employee impact.The results are believed to depend on that the women in the department had greater demandsfor variety in the work..

Studiens syfte var att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkade framgångsrika säljares prestation positivt på ett callcenter företag. Detta var betydande då tidigare studier främst fokuserat på problemen inom callcenterbranschen. Undersökningen utfördes genom intervjuer med sex framgångsrika säljare, där frågorna utformades utifrån Antonovoskys teori om KASAM samt Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori. Resultatet visade att det främst var prestationslön, bekräftelse och tävlingar som bidrog till motivation och kolleger samt bekräftelse som skapade arbetstillfredsställelse. Bekräftelse skapade både motivation och arbetstillfredsställelse och hade därför en dubbelfunktion som påverkade säljarens prestation positivt.

Forskning visar att elevers syn på sina egna kunskaper, deras osäkerhet i matematik samt matematikundervisningens utformande kan påverka motivationen och lärandet i matematik. Med bakgrund i tidigare forskning syftar därför denna studie till att få en fördjupad förståelse för vilka faktorer som kan påverka elevers motivation till ämnet matematik. Studien syftar också till att finna skillnader och likheter mellan de faktorer som påverkar elevers motivation till matematik i årskurs ett, årskurs tre och årskurs sex. Studien är kvalitativ och 12 elever intervjuades; fyra i årskurs ett, fyra i årskurs tre och fyra i årskurs sex. Tre observationer har också genomförts under en matematiklektion där de intervjuade eleverna deltagit.

This thesis has been conducted at Volvo Bussar ABunder a period of ten weeks. Within the organizationVolvo, the work is conducted with leaders and teamson every level; from production to top management.They have three tasks, besides executing their dailywork, they are expected to actively work on improvingtheir individual work as well as themselves as persons.The two latter are future value adding activities for theorganization. When doing so, however, it has beennoticed that they often lose the grasp of their dailywork. The question that consequently arises is whythis happens. Is it because of lack of time or it isbecause the co-workers do not have the competenceand simply do not know how they are to execute thethree tasks? Or, is it because the motivation to executethe three tasks is not enough? With this in regard, thestatement of issues for this bachelor thesis were thefollowing: how can the conditions for leaders and theteam be improved, in order for them to execute thesethree tasks.To find out why the execution of these threeassigments did not always succeed, the decision wastaken to conduct a survey and interview study in reallife and at the plants.

The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. This project has created a web-application for the service technicians at the paper plant Gruvön. The project was outsourced to the IT-company Sogeti.The application visualizes information about reparation-work of the equipment at the paper plant. The displayed information is work-orders, the status of the work-orders and errors. It is also possible to see the costs and hours spent on reparation-work.. The work-orders and related information is stored in a relational database.The application is created mainly for web-browsers in mobile-phones and tablets.

Studien handlar om svenska gymnasieelevers motivation för att studera matematikämnet. Den teoretiska grunden hämtas ifrån Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan, 1985). Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur väl gymnasieelevers egen uppfattning om sin motivationsnivå kan prediceras genom de fyra ingående motivationsorienteringarna i Self-Determination Theory: (1) external regulation; (2) introjected regulation; (3) identified regulation; och (4) intrinsic motivation. Deltagarna (n = 132), 44 pojkar, 84 flickor och fyra som valde att inte specificera kön, studerar vid två gymnasieskolor i Falu kommun. Deltagarna fick via en webbsida besvara en enkät som mätte variablerna: upplevd motivationsnivå, external regulation, introjected regulation, identified regulation och intrinsic motivation.

This thesis work has introduced process orientation at the printing company Color Print Sweden AB. The outcome ofthis work is a survey of the work flow at the prepress department. To visualise the production process at the companya comprehensive mapping of the main process, order-to-delivery, has been made. The work has detected a couple ofcritical elements in the existing process. These elements are the following: initial check of material delivered to the prepressdepartment as well as the control made of the plotter print-out, digital test print and plate.

This essay deals with the complexity that I perceive in the collaboration processes between preschool and parents. In the essay I present my interpretation of two self-perceived situations where my experience has been that the cooperation has not worked satisfactorily for either part. As a basis for my conclusions I use different theories and studies within the domain. My own experiences - both from ten years of working in preschool as well as from an eight-year experience of being a parent also comes into use. The purpose of my essay is to investigate how different horizons of understanding can come into collision, and how limitations in our own understanding of the perspectives of others can complicate collaboration between educators and parents.In the first story I discuss a situation where, in my professional role, I go into a conflict with a parent about how we have chosen to implement some changes.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva personalledares erfarenheter av främjade motivationsfaktorer sett ur ett psykosocialt arbetsmiljöperspektiv inom Samhall. I studien var inklusionskriterierna för informanterna att de var anställda som personalledare inom Samhall, med minst ett års arbetslivserfarenhet. Antalet informanter bestod av åtta personalledare, anställda på Samhall i två kommuner i norra Sverige. Studien genomfördes genom semistrukturerade intervjuer i lokaler i anslutning till Samhall eller Luleå tekniska universitet. Med inspiration av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys analyserades intervjuskrifterna.

Bakgrund: Diabetes typ 2 är en sjukdom som ökar alltmer i omfattning världen över. Livsstilsförändring är en del av behandlingen men kan vara svår att genomföra om motivation saknas. Att vara delaktig i sin egenvård och få stöd från sjuksköterskor ger bättre förutsättningar att lyckas uppnå förändring. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva patienters och sjuksköterskors syn på motivation, stöd och delaktighet vid livsstilsförändring i samband med diabetes typ 2. Metod: Uppsatsen är gjord som en litteraturstudie med en kvalitativ metod som har inspiration av fenomenologi.

The goal of this study is to examine what five teacher?s impression of the teacher?s role is in their previous years. How important the ?joy at work? is in relation with the educational progress? And what aspects that contributes to the? joy at work? and what obstacles that stops them. The essay will also go through the concepts of a teacher role, with connection to the theoretical perspectives of Csikszentmihalyi?s Flow and Antonovsky?s Salutogenesis (KASAM).The method I used was interviewing five teachers and I used Larsen?s chapter of ?content analysis? as a basis, I also used Flow and KASAM as theoretical references in my analysis.
