Till detta så kan fildelningsprotokoll användas, två vanliga fildelningsprotokoll är SMB/CIFS och NFS.I detta arbete så utvärderas de nyaste versionerna av protokollen i en experimentmiljö. Prestandajämförelser sker mellan två olika operativsystem och versioner av protokollen. Syftet är att besvara frågan om vilket protokoll som är mest effektivt i WAN-miljöer där olika operativsystem används. Resultatet visar att SMB är det protokoll med bäst stöd i både Linux och Windows.

Methodology: The thesis is based on abductive perspective where empirical and theoretical material has been mixed to create a foundation for the analysis. Theoretical perspectives: Theories concerning knowledge management and research and development have primarily been used. These have been complemented with material about team structures and incentive systems. Empirical foundation: The empirical material is based on semi structured, mostly qualitative interviews and strictly quantitative inquiries performed at Industrial Hose within the Trelleborg group.

Understensho?jden is Stockholm's largest eco-village which was built in the early 1990s with the vision of enabling ecological living for people. However the ecovillage is no longer considered as environmentally friendly because of its relatively high energy consumption, and non-updated energy system. The purpose of this study is therefore to investigate how Understensho?jden should reduce their energy consumption and upgrade its energy system by using Blower-Door, IR-camera and Design Builder.

People who live in northern part of the world spend much more time indoors than those who live in warmer countries. In addition that home should be safe, it should also protect one against heat, cold, sunlight and pollution. The indoor environment is affected by installations, material and how the building is formed. Those anomalies that are visible, felt or smelled can be noticed and be rectified. But it?s much more difficult if these abilities are missing.

Since 2003 Saudi Arabia is under attack from domestic Al Qaida-cells which, by random shootings of westerners and bombings of compounds and official state buildings, is trying to challenge the stability of the royal regime. According to Al Qaida, the Royal family is attacked because of their friendly relations to the US and for not implementing Islam in the Saudi society as profound as they ought to. Political analyst finds it obvious that the Islamic Al Qaida-cells by terrorism is trying to erode the stability in the kingdom.An important foundation for stability for any government is legitimacy. The aim of this thesis is to examine the royal legitimacy strategy in the state bureaucracy of Saudi Arabia. The question at issue is: how has the royal family constructed the civil, military and religious bureaucracies to maintain and promote stability and legitimacy?The thesis focuses on the on three different units within these three bureaucracies and it surveys the way they are staffed and organized to strengthen and maintain legitimacy for the royal family.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the subject matter of visual communication in presentation brochures of two Swedish regions: Region Halland and Region Dalarna. My focuses are the following questions: what is the aim of the brochures and in what ways does the visual material relate to that aim? How can strategic communication be defined through a visual perspective and in what ways is it useful in the context of presentation brochures of the regions? What sort of communicational functions are specific for the visual material in relation to the written language of the brochures? Lead by these questions, I start by analyzing the brochures through a textual analysis and a social semiotic approach. The result shows that the aim seems to be both political and commercial, but that the visual elements relate more strongly to the commercial aim than to the political aim by the way they strive to present a positive image of the region. The visual elements work in strategic ways that I define as visual strategies.

The intention of the essay was to see what Web users? comprehension might be when watching four videos that are published on the Swedish Government?s Web site. One video contains an interview with Lena Hallengren, Minister for Youth Affairs of the Swedish Government, and in the other three Ulrica Messing, Minister for Communications and Regional Affairs of the same government, gives speeches about the governmental issues she is responsible for. The comprehensions that were examined are those concerning the forms of presentation of the videos, the ministers? appearances, the videos abilities to create and maintain the Web site visitors? interest, and the visitors? behaviours and conducts while being in contact with the Web site.

In this study, I have examined the previous Social Democratic government?s communication with the voters, focusing on its promises during election campaigns, and the presentation of achieved results. The theories used are the mandate- and sanction theory; the first focuses on voters comparing manifestos to find the most agreeable, whilst the latter concentrates on voters evaluation the work of the previous government, to either discharge or support it. For the sanction theory to work, voters must have the necessary information to evaluate the government in progress. The question is; did the previous government provide the voters with such information?This has been done through scrutinizing the Social Democrats? election manifestos that was used between 1994 and 2006, to examine what the party promised to achieve in economics and the labor market.

Den här rapporten innehåller information om hur man skapar en länk mellan en dator och ett minne via en dators serieport. Ett RS232-protokoll används för att upprätthålla den här länken. För att ta hand om minnet samt upprätthålla kommunikationen med datorn har en FPGA programmerats. Intel hex8 formatet används för datan. Ett program för Windows 98 skapades också.

Within all industries, there is a change in working time required; this also includes the construction sector. However, the way construction sectors are differentiated is by not having been given the opportunity to be practiced or tested.  The aim of this thesis that we have done in collaboration with the Concrete Industry was to investigate the possibility of developing an automated method for quality assurance of SKB at the site. The idea is to make the O-funnel to be more utilized and therefore ensuring that the appropriate concrete quality is provided which eventually would lead to a better development in the production process.The project has involved theoretical work and laboratory experiments. The theoretical work gave us a good foundation at the beginning of the project. After gathering the information and material, the laboratory experiments began by SCC in their laboratory in Hammarby. The collected data from the various laboratory tests formed the foundation for trying to relate measurements for consistency of SCC with each other and therefore find out how measurements from O-funnel varies with different concrete mixtures.

Knowledge organization is perceived as a central, constituting activity defining the notion of libraries. Critique calling for a new theoretical foundation voiced by active researchers within library and information science concerning the current knowledge organization has been utilized as a point of departure. Specifications concerning a new theoretical foundation implied by these critiques are considered within this thesis and theory found in The Order of Things by Michel Foucault proposed as an alternative theory for understanding knowledge organization as a human science where meaning, value and representation, by which the ordering of things is possible, is acknowledged as a result of human activity and history. Thus meaning, value and representation must be perceived as dynamic. An example of implementation of the proposed theory has been achieved by the use of bibliometrics.

This report is about accessibility in a station environment. Studies have been made about how an accessible building should be designed. Accessibility is an important issue when striving for a society with equality as the foundation. Sweden is one of the most accessible countries when speaking about the built environment. A result of prosperity and a well-managed democracy.

This essay is a discourse analysis of the integration politics of the different parties in the Swedish parliament and the non-parliamentary party ?the Swedish Democrats?, as it is presented on their respective web pages. The overall purpose is to problematize and shed a light on how the current discourse(s) about integration are constituted. Also of interest is how these construct our knowledge and experience of the phenomena. We furthermore want to illustrate the social consequences of such discourses on the construction and organization of identities and groups, and, as a result, the courses of action that becomes available.

Detta examensarbete är en undersökning om elevers syn på sina egna bilder och vad somhänder med den när bilderna presenteras i en utställning.Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket vis en utställning av elevers bilder kan habetydelse för hur eleverna reflekterar över sitt arbete och på så vis även ha betydelse förlärprocessen.Frågan som undersökts lyder ?Vilken betydelse kan visuell och rumslig presentation avelevers bilder ha för hur de själva värderar och reflekterar över bilderna??Undersökningen har gjorts på en gymnasieskola med två klasser i kursen estetiskkommunikation. Eleverna har fått gestalta bilder och efter arbetet intervjuats om vad detyckte om bilderna. Bilderna presenterades för eleverna på nytt i form av en utställning ochnya observationer och samtal gjordes för att ta reda på vad eleverna tyckte om bildernaunder utställningen.Undersökningsmaterialet har analyserats genom att jämföra hur eleverna värderar ochreflekterar över sina bilder innan och efter utställningen, för att kunna få syn på vilkenbetydelse den visuella och rumsliga presentationen kan ha.Som blivande pedagog känns det viktigt att få en fördjupad förståelse för hurpresentationen av elevers bilder kan ses som en tillgång i bildundervisningen.Tolkning och resultat har prövats med hjälp av olika teorier såväl pedagogiska filosofersom designteorier och forskning om vad utställandet gör med bilden.Jag använder mig av gestaltande metoder under arbetets gång i formandet avutställningen som presenteras för eleverna. Gestaltningen består av en sammansättning av58 elevers bilder som satts ihop i tre bilder och ramats in, och ett bildspel som visar varjebild var för sig.
