Today we see a growing need and interest in working towards sustainable development. To be able to contribute to a sustainable development as individuals/business we need to emphasize the importance of education and contextualisation that learning occurs in a sense that is relevant to the learner.This is the background to this study, which in turn is the basis for an education that focuses on how to environmentally secure your purchases, an opportunity for us to set environmental standards purchasing products and services. The process for purchase is considered by many to be a key factor in businesses work towards sustainable development. Key people in this process and target audience for this education is environmental, purchasing and procurement managers.The purpose of this study is to design an education calledMiljösäkrade inköp from the target audiences? knowledge, interests and attitudes, together with literature.

Syftet är att se om det finns något samband mellan elevers läs- och skrivsvårigheter och matematik i årskurs 4-6 samt att se i vilket sammanhang de eventuella problemen synliggörs. Arbetets resultat grundar sig i matematiktester som är konstruerade utifrån frågeställningen ?Vad är det inom matematikämnet elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter kan få svårigheter med??. Resultatet visar att läs- och skrivsvaga elever i vissa fall kan ha brister inom matematikens problemlösningsområden och även inom algoritmområdet. Elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter brister i dessa matematikdelar på grund av brister i läsflytet, svårigheter med begreppsförståelse, komprimerat språk och brister i korttidsminnet..

Syftet med aktuell studie har varit att på svenska akademifotbollsspelare undersöka (1) självbestämmande motivations samt passions inverkan på upplevd hälsa och hur dessa variabler är relaterade till varandra, (2) samt skillnad i upplevd hälsa mellan högt harmoniskt passionerade spelare och spelare med hög tvångsmässig passion. I studien deltog 462 akademifotbollsspelare hemmahörande i Svenska fotbollsakademier. Deltagarnas ålder varierade mellan 12-16 år (M=14.38, Sd=1.06). I studien användes instrumenten Self-Determination Scale (SDS), The Passion Scale samt General Health Questionnaire-12 (GHQ-12). Korrelationstester i rådande studie visade på att självbestämmande motivation har ett positivt samband med både tvångsmässig och harmonisk passion, samt att tvångsmässig passion har ett negativt samband med hälsa.

A clean and affordable energy source for cooking is deficient in developing countries. People rely on fuels that contribute to environmental, social and health problems.Biogas is an alternative energy source and an increased investment in small-scale biogas production can in several developing countries be found. Several projects have started to use the technology in developing countries because of the benefits with biogas. Some cases in the establishment of biogas plants have succeeded and some have not. The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

Virtual Communities is an increasingly common phenomenon on the Internet. Most of the Virtual Communities are operated and maintained on a non-profit basis with a direction towards entertainment. However, as more state administrated and commercial services become web-based, we believe that the number of Virtual Communities with a community-based or commercial direction will increase in a near future. In this thesis, we describe our participation in, and studies of, a number of Virtual Communities with focus on the IRC-channel ?3dfxsweden?. On the basis of our experiences, we describe the social elements that form the foundation on which the Virtual Community rely on.

Syftet med studien var att kritiskt granska den vetenskapliga litteraturen om användningen av testosteron/ anabola steroiders effekter vid rehabilitering av sjukdomstillstånd/ skada. En sytematisk översikt av litteraturen genomfördes. 18 RCT-studier uppfyllde inklusionskriterierna och granskades kritiskt enligt PEDro-scale.

The purpose of this study was to find out how young children are allowed to influence and affect their daily lives in preschools, as well as teachers? views on the latter. My interest in this topic is born out of my experience of working with both younger and older preschool children. My view is that democratic work with older children is largely based on direct verbal communication while with toddlers it is based on an adult?s interpretation of a child?s often non-verbal expressions.

This essay is a study that contributes to the larger research question ?Why do farms shut down?? The subject was chosen because it is a relevant problem that needs to be studied more. This study's boundary is to investigate the reasons for decisions leading to the farms at the Torstuna community, Fjärdhundra, changes in any activity scale or the outlook of the entire farm. When a decision is made, there are usually several reasons behind it and it is these reasons which this essay is aiming to study. The question "What are the reasons for the elderly to live on the farm even though the farm is not cultivated by them?" is also covered in the study.

Language impairment affects the ability to communicate. Children with languageimpairment have difficulties in using language in interaction to various degrees, and the contributions of the conversational partner are of great importance. The use of languagein interaction can be analysed by means of conversation analysis. The purpose of thepresent study was to study interaction of a group of pre-school children with language impairment with four different conversational partners. These were a peer with languag eimpairment, a peer with typical language development, a pre-school teacher and a parent.

Dessutom undersöktes kön- och åldersaspekter, samt skillnader mellan icke-idrottare, motionärer, individuella och lagidrottare gällande attributionsstil och situationsspecifikt självförtroende. Vidare syftade arbetet till att studera samband mellan attributionsdimensionerna och situationsspecifikt självförtroende. Urvalet bestod av 115 försökspersoner i åldern 16 till 67 år. För att mäta attributioner användes Causal Dimension Scale ? II (CDS-II; McAuley, Duncan, & Russell, 1992) och för att mäta situationspsecifikt självförtroende användes General Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE; Schwarzer & Jerusalem, 1995, ref.

The examination of the adequate nature conservation methods in a natural reserve, to conserve a specific species and / or increase biological diversity is the subject of this study. This work is based on four species, that can be found during the Spring season, liverleaf, wood anemone, brimstone and woodpecker. The incidence and availability is studied and closely observed for these species in twenty forests, i.e. ten forests which are nature reserves and ten forests with the similar characteristics as the nature reserves habitat, but are not nature reserves in Gnesta mucipality, Södermanland. Measurements of the tree crown and the diameter of the tree trunks where noted to study how these factors could affect the outcome of the abundance and incidence of the four species.

In this Bachelor thesis I explore sound and room as elements in design of user interfaces, both theoretical and practical in a specific application domain, to identify some of the advantages and disadvantage associated with these elements. As application domain I studied email clients and their usage at home amongst students at Blekinge Institute of Technology. In the study I found an activity, which seems to be highly distributed in the physical room where the user is located. The activity was notification of email and could take place in an arbitrary location of the home. I then augmented this activity with ideas from my theoretical assumption about room and sound. The result was a rule-based agent for notification of email, which primarily uses sound as interaction style..

This study was built on the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI) as an ability with four branches, to effectively: (1) perceive (2) reason (3) understand and (4) manage emotions. By closely studying the four processes of EI through eight semistructured interviews with psychologists, counselors, CBT-therapists and psychotherapists, a study of participants' stories from real practice was done and then analyzed and interpreted. The purpose of this study was to get the participants to describe and put words on practical experiences that occur with clients that correspond to the four domains that define the concept of EI according to Mayer et al. (2008) and find out about if their way of "doing" EI gets trained and developed after several years of professional activity. The results shows that the practitioners used all four branches of EI in dialog with the client, both intra- and interpersonal.

BAKGRUND: Stress är ett nutida folkhälsoproblem som drabbar båda könen även om individer reagerar med olika symptom när de utsätts för olika stressorer. Forskning visar att stressorer skiljer sig åt för män och kvinnor och att de hanterar dem på olika sätt. Stress har visat sig påverka utveckling av sjukdom och dödlighet och har således betydelse församhällets vårdkostnader och sociala utgifter. Det saknas i dagsläget forskning som undersöker stress ur ett genusperspektiv och dess konsekvenser för den upplevda hälsan. SYFTE: Syftet med studien var att med mätinstrumentet Percieved Stress Scale undersökaom genus påverkar stress hos män och kvinnor eller om stressen beror på individen eller miljön.

Facebook. Ett fenomen som på relativt kort tid fått en allt större inverkan påmänniskors liv. Men vad händer när det tar överhanden? När vad som var tänktsom en social plattform för att hålla kontakt med vänner blir till ett beroende? Denhär explorativa studien utforskar Facebook-beroende bland vad som enligt tidigareforskning anses vara en riskgrupp: gymnasieungdomar. Hur stor andel avgymnasieungdomarna skulle kunna vara beroende av Facebook, och finns detaspekter av deras fritidsliv, umgängespreferenser, hälsa och Facebook-användandesom verkar kunna bidra till ett beroende? Med hjälp av en kvantitativ ansats dären översatt version av den norska Bergen Facebook Addiction Scale har delats ut ienkätform undersöks Facebook och dess inverkan på gymnasieungdomar på enskola i Göteborgsområdet, och resultaten visar att en betydande andel avgymnasieungdomarna skulle kunna vara beroende av Facebook.
