Detta skulle miljömässigt ge fördelarna att biobränslen inte bidrar till växthuseffekten och ge förutsättningar för att minska kväveoxidutsläppen genom bättre teknik än dagens.För att visa att det är möjligt att både behålla produktionen och reducera kväveoxiderna med förgasningsgas konstruerades en modell av ugnen och strömningsbilden studerades i vattenmodell. För att undersöka värmeöverföringen i ugnen behöver en eller flera kalorimetrar konstrueras för att kunna användas vid varma försök. The aim of this report is to give a concise description of curtain walls, what it is and why they are used. It is also a description of six different but commonly used design technologies. By giving a detailed description of the different types and there special properties, the pros and cons will be clarified. The three most interesting alternatives were selected to be included in a test, to show the best alternative from a certain point of view.The parameters are:? Environment? Cost? Ergonomics? Isolation against noise and fire? DurabilityThese are important parameters in the planning and design phase.

After I heard that two deadly accidents in farming 2003 were created by work with cattle, I got the idea of writing this degree project. So far there are not too many reports written about safety for the worker nor the animal. Therefore it will fit in with a report about safe handling of free stalled cattle. The Swedish Board of Agriculture would also like to do an information material about outside stalled cattle with this degree project as a background. The collecting of material was made by visiting farmers. The goal was to visit 15 ? 20 herds and when this is being written 19 herds have been visited.

Från intervjuer har vi sedan kunnat se liknelser och skillnader om vad olika yrkesfolk i samma bransch tycker, sedan därifrån dragit slutsatser. Det är inte alltid enkelt att avgöra vilken byggnadsmetod som är att föredra för att projektet ska vara kostnadseffektivt, prefabricerat eller platsbyggd. Faktorer som byggnadens konstruktion, årstid, arbetsmiljö, resurser, tid och kostnad ska ta hänsyns till.Genom att planera bättre, öka förtillverkningen, skapa en bättre samverkan mellan byggherrar, konsulter, entreprenörer, underentreprenörer och materialleverantörer, så anser man allmänt att man kan öka industrialiseringen av byggandet. Då man kan få kortare byggtider och lägre totalkostnader. .

The Results of this thesis was the creation of two designed house variants with a module toall the apartments. In addition till the first module there are three other modules ofapartments that can be put in the houses if it so needs. The house are volume prefabricatedand are placed on site in a way that it create an enclosure of the area which faces against thenature and car parks also lies hidden behind these houses.For the actual structure, a cross beam was created to carry the floor above and it is supportby all four walls. The structure between the first and the second floor has no "syll" butinstead there are two differently alternative to linking the floors in order so that it will notmove. The reason with this solution was that there will not be any subsidence when theforces from above are pressed down ward.

The study took place at a food corporation in Växjö, Sweden. It describes a building that contains four tanks in which glucose syrup is stored. The purpose of the study was to calculate the amount of heat that leaves the building and the amount of heat that is supplied by the installed heating equipment. Before the calculations could be implemented, all the systems that supply the building with heat had to be examined. With a small amount of information from earlier studies, the work to gather all the data necessary for the calculations began.

Stenebergs sockerbruk is a large log-timber construction, purpose built as a sugar refinery in 1739 and is one of Sweden's oldest industrial buildings constructed entirely out of wood. Despite receiving the status of a listed building (in Swedish: Byggnadsminne) in 1977, there exists today a surprisingly low amount of documentation of the building itself. In order to enhance the existing and lacking building documentation, this case study aims to shed light on the building's log-timber built frame, focusing on how it was constructed, how the long lengths of its walls were handled and what type of joinery and tools were used. A thorough investigation of the building is conducted on site, followed by gathering of information which is then presented through text and illustrations. The findings indicate the orientation of timbers, location of joints and scarfs as well as tool marks which together contribute to the forming of a basis of understanding of the building's construction..

This essay concerns graffiti, and in particular graffiti removal regarded as iconoclasm.Graffiti is described as a visual symbol laden with both negative and positive values, and sometimes as a meaningful expression in the urban public space. One problem with graffiti as a field of study is the diversity of both the meaning of the term as well as the diversity of the phenomenon itself. Therefore I have defined the term graffiti as follows: words and images painted on public walls by a person usually in an unauthorised manner. Specific examples of graffiti and related phenomena are presented. Within the Swedish anti-graffiti discourse the pejorative term klotter (scribbling) is used to describe what I above define as graffiti.

The aim of this essay is to examine the relationship between picture and room, between wallpainting and architecture. The basis for such exploration is the mural painting in Sweden at the turn of the 20th century, and the artist in focus is Prince Eugen (1865-1947).His works "Sommar"(1904), "Rimfrosr"(1909) & "Staden vid vattnet"(1922) and the rooms in which they are in make for an anlysis concerning how the totality of the space is experienced by the viewer.The main issue in mentioned expeience is how the mural is perceived with regard to the other elements in the room. And here, the walls' "flatness" enhancing its decorative qualities plays in. Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur investerare inom equity crowdfunding förhåller sig på den informella riskkapitalmarknaden och huruvida de tillför något nytt på denna marknad. Uppsatsen ser till vilka möjliga motiv och risker det innebär att investera i equity crowdfunding och även eventuella förväntningar på utfallet av det investerade kapitalet. Denna studie har bidragit till att se investerare i equity crowdfunding som en ny form av karaktär på den informella riskkapitalmarknaden, där premisser för risktagande och motivation till investeringen skiljer sig från tidigare investerarkategorier. Genom att se till existerande teorier och litteratur på området informellt riskkapital dras paralleller med den insamlade empirin. Investerarna på den informella riskkapitalmarknadens kan karaktäriseras utefter fyra kategorier: microinvesterare, finansiella placerare, kompetensinvesterare och affärsänglar. För att kunna analysera motiven och förväntningarna på investeringar i equity crowdfunding har teorier om risker och motivation använts.

During pre-slaughter handling of pigs the animals are often subjected to methods that induces stress and are a threat to the wellbeing of the animals, such as mixing of groups, loud noise and transportation. A new law will be implemented in 2006 in Sweden that prohibits mechanical noise exceeding 65 dB in abattoirs. The purpose of the research presented in this paper was to examine the effects of noise and transportation on pig behaviour. The activity and aggressiveness of the pigs were examined with behavioural studies during transportation and during three different noise levels: 55, 75 and 95 dB. Before the noise treatments took place the groups were mixed and half of them were transported for approximately 2 hours. In the study 432 pigs were used.

The urban heat island is an area restricted to a city center where the temperatureis higher than its surrounding environment. The greatest temperature difference isfound at night when the weather is calm and the sky is clear of clouds. There are twomajor causes behind this phenomena and the first one is the use of energy forheating of houses. The heat leaks through the walls of the buildings and warms upthe surrounding mass of air. The second one is the use of building material whichstore the suns radiation on daytime and releases the heat during night.

The aim with my work is to get a deeper knowledge about the preschool's views of environmental work. I also want to examine how the preschool teachers along with the children work with the project Green Flag in the preschool. I have used structured interview with two teachers in a preschool that works with Green Flag. Green Flag is an environment certification and is an evidence on that one works daily with a document aimed environmental work along with the children. I have found out that each year they work with different themes within Green Flag.

The research on Ingmar Bergman is comprehensive, however, there is one aspect of his artistry that has been regrettably neglected ? his use of music. Music always played a huge part in Bergman?s life, and it was also a great source of inspiration. The music was a structural component in the creating process and he often referred to his films as pieces of music and his actors as musical instruments.
