This examination paper is about the potential for Solar cells on apartment blocks. The technology with using solar cells for manufacturing electricity, has been on the market for a while, but recently the new installations of solar cells has increased. Solar cells are suited for placements on buildings but are expensive to obtain. The municipal real-estate company is interested in solar cells but wants to know more before they invest in the technology. This report contains an account of the solar cell and a guide to how a connection to the grid is accomplished.

In this thesis I have investigated four housing corporation?s information about garbage disposal for their tenants (primarily immigrants who just arrived to Sweden).   Interviews with renters, employees of the housing corporations and employees of Eskilstuna Energi och Miljö indicates that the garbage information need to be improved to be better adapted to the target group.    To solve this information problem I decided to create an information chart, consisting of illustrations and legible text which informs the renters of how and, above all why it is important to recycle.   The aim of the project is also to increase the renters? commitment and motivation in recycling and also; make the housing corporations, other organizations and authorities aware of how important it is to adapt information to different kind of groups. Bakgrund och problem: Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR) består i huvudsak av tre delar: etiskt ansvar, miljöansvar och socialt/samhälleligt ansvar. Företagens ansvar och värderingar har blivit viktiga konkurrensmedel på marknaden då det inte längre räcker att bara ha den bästa produkten eftersom kunderna har fått upp ögonen för både orättvisor och miljöproblem. Många företag väljer därför att redovisa sitt CSR-arbete i en hållbarhetsrapport. Vår frågeställning är följande: Vad redovisas i hållbarhetsrapporten? Hur har CSR-redovisningen utvecklats under 2000-talet? Hur skiljer sig redovisningen av CSR åt mellan olika branscher?Syfte: Att studera förändringen av CSR-redovisning hos ett företag inom finansbranschen och ett inom fordonsindustrin samt redogöra för likheter och skillnader dem emellan.

Rapporten beskriver förslag på framtidens ?Rear Seat Entertainment? som baseras på användning av pekskärm, istället för de DVD-baserade TV-skärmar som finns i t ex Volvo S80 i dagsläget. Projektet utfördes som ett examensarbete inom integrerad produktutveckling vid Högskolan i Skövde. Organisationer måste kunna hantera förändringar eftersom de hela tiden påverkas av förändringar av både intern och extern karaktär. Det är viktigt att organisationer kontinuerligt utvecklar sitt förändringsarbete med hjälp av erfarenheter och lärdomar från sina tidigare genomförda förändringar. Tidigare forskning kring förändringsarbete visar på att kontinuerliga uppföljningar och kommunikation är viktiga faktorer för att uppnå effektiva förändringar. En brist på forskning inom detta område har också uppmärksammats varför vi har valt att studera detta närmare. Syftet med denna studie är därför att utveckla en metod för hur en organisation kan gå tillväga med kontinuerliga uppföljningar av förändringsarbeten.

This Master Thesis documents the development of an On Board Diagnosis (OBD-II) interface for remote diagnosis of vehicles. The Master Thesis is part of a project at the company Wayfinder Systems in Lund. The purpose of this thesis was to design a scantool that communicates with a vehicle through its OBD-II port using relevant standards. In order to make the OBD-II interface development easier, a car simulator was first built. Both the car simulator and the OBD-II interface were implemented using a linux computer running a C-program with serial communication with an external electrical interface.

Problem. Sponsorship has increased continuously during the 21st century, however, at the same time the public interest of traditional promotion has been diminishing. The meaning of sponsorship is a very diffuse and therefore the concept needs to be investigated. Due to the multitude of sponsorship and its impreciseness about its financial value, it is difficult to evaluate sponsorship for companies, especially when there is a difficulty in choosing a decent method for evaluation.Purpose. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the concept of sponsorship, motives for sponsorship and evaluation of sponsorship according to the theory and give empirical examples of how these areas are being managed by companies.Method.

This paper is an event study on Initial Public Offering?s return behavior after the dot com bubble. Cumulative Abnormal Returns are used to measure the performance against a market index. The results suggest that the market correctly prices IPOs in the long run thus upholding the Market Efficiency hypothesis. Moreover, value weighted CARs show that large IPOs are more likely to outperform smaller IPOs, however in the long run there is an unpredictable pattern.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

Informationssystem utgör en allt viktigare del av förbättringsarbetet i organisationer. Av den anledningen bidrar ett företags förmåga att sammanställa och hantera sina informationsflöden till allt större konkurrensfördelar, vilket i sin tur uppmärksammat behovet av informationssystem som motsvarar intressenternas önskemål. Ett informationssystem som inte motsvarar organisationens behov bidrar således till kvalitetsbristkostnader i verksamheten. Merparten av de befintliga behovsinsamlingsmetoderna förutsätter att intressenterna till ett informationssystem är uppenbara, något som är ett felaktigt antagande. Av den anledningen är det svårt för verksamheter att utan tidigare erfarenheter av liknande arbetssätt genomföra en väl genomarbetad behovsinsamling.

Den här rapporten behandlar inkörning av kuggyta med hänsyn till glidhastighet, last och dess inverkan då manganfosfat används som ytbeläggning, och görs för Volvo Powertrain. För att sänka miljöpåverkan och uppnå de stränga lagkrav, vad gäller utsläpp, behöver Volvo öka förståelsen för vad som händer vid inkörningen av växellådan. Det här arbetet görs som en del av Volvos forskning inom området inkörning.Ett tribologiskt test har utförts med hjälp av en pinne-på-skiva tribometer. Detta gör det möjligt att variera olika parametrar och studera dess inverkan under inkörningsperioden. För att kunna göra en jämförelsestudie har en låg och en hög nivå initierats med avseende på glidhastighet och pålagd last.
