Syftet med arbetet är att ta reda på om lärare använder sig av formativ bedömning och i så fall hur lärare definierar och lägger upp formativa bedömning. Med hjälp av teoretiska ramar tas det reda på hur verkligheten kan se ut för en urvalsgrupp.

Att få support eller att tolka information via telefon kan ibland vara problematiskt. Eftersom individer uppfattar och tolkar saker på olika sätt kan det vara svårt att förklara något. Genom att förklara något man ser framför sig, för någon annan, som i sin tur ska tolka och förstå vad det är som sägs, kan ibland vara problematiskt för båda parter. Syftet med denna uppsats i informatik är att testa hur en experimentuppsättning kan se ut. Experimentet går ut på att undersöka hur kommunikation kan uppstå verbalt när en person ska förklara ett skärminnehåll.

Operation, operationskonst, operativ ledning är några av huvudorden när man inom militärhistorien beskriver den militära ledningsorganisationen. Här anförs mycket ofta exempel ur den tyska militärhistorien. Vad är det då som särskilt utmärker den operativa ledningen i Tyskland? När, hur och varför har den uppstått, införts och genomförts?Arbetet redovisar den operativa ledningens utveckling i Tyskland ur militärhistoriskt perspektiv och utifrån tyska synpunkter. Det innehåller sålunda inga jämförelser med utvecklingen i andra länder.

This essay is about power in the classroom. It is about the power dimension of the student-teacher relationships that arise in that space. The overall aim has been to investigate which categories are fruitful in a power analysis of these relationships. My aim has therefore been to develop power categories and to use them to identify and to categorise cases of power interaction that take place between those particular actors in that particular setting.In order to gather material for my study I have both read literature that approaches the study of the student-teacher relationships from a power perspective and done a series of observations in a high school.My theoretical frame comprises a concept of power and a series of power categories. These categories include strength, authority, inducement, coercion, violence, resistance as well as to possess power, to have power, to exert power, the scope of power and the base of power.

Akademiska hus is a real estate company that specializes in providing Swedish universities with housing facilities for educational and research purposes. The company strives to reduce its use of energy by 40% between the years 2000 and 2025. The aim of this thesis is to determine which measures can be taken to reduce the need of purchased energy in a building that is used by theSwedishUniversityof Agricultural Sciences inUppsala.In order to determine the results of various changes to the building envelope and ventilation system, the building was modelled in the computer simulation program VIP-Energy. Other proposed changes to make the use of energy more efficient concerned water use and lighting. The need of purchased energy can also be reduced by producing electricity or heat on site, using solar energy.Results show that economically viable measures include upgrading windows and faucets, adjusting control systems for ventilation and lighting, and installing roof mounted solar panels for power production.

Minskad effektförbrukning har blivit mer och mer intressant i takt med att fler produkter blir mobila. I artikeln Parallel Implementation of Linear Feedback Shift Registers for Low Power Applications, beskriver Menahem Lowy en metod för att konstruera slumptalsgeneratorer. Dessa är tänkta att vara effektsnålare än en vanlig enkel slumptalsgenerator, med återkopplat skiftregister. I det här examensarbetet har sex slumptalsgeneratorer konstruerats i VHDL. Två är baserade på Lowy?s metod och två är parallella varianter av dessa.

Åmotfors Bruk AB (ÅBAB) has today an inefficient production of steam for the manufacturing of paper. Unpredictable energy prices and modernisation of the current equipment has been the underlying factors to invest in a thermal power plant, mainly driven by garbage. This facility will not only use the steam for paper production, it will also generate electricity through a steam turbine. Today, when a fault on the supplying line occurs which leads to disconnection of the external grid, all the support of electricity to Åmotfors Bruk (ÅB) will disappear. This will lead to major interruptions in the paper production, which will cause severe economical losses.

Vi har fått ett flertal viktiga insikter och lärdomar om nödvändiga ingredienser i god management. Först och främst en förståelse för hur viktigt det är med ökad självinsikt. Därigenom ökar förståelsen för andra personers beteende. Även det omvända gäller; genom andras beteende kan självinsikten öka. Lärdomen har implikationer på alla nivåer av management då en organisation grundar sig på samspelet mellan människor.

This paper studies how peer assessment is used as a strategy to improve young learners' results in Swedish as a school subject. Nine teachers are interviewed about their use of the method on 7-12-year-old pupils. Comparisons are made between the interviews and Swedish and international discussion on peer assessment. There are similarities between the practice of the teachers and what is said in the litterature about the method and its advantages and drawbacks. The teachers tend to emphasize the social aspects more, though.

Under slutet av 2010 och våren 2011 har ett utvecklingsprojekt pågått hos AlexIT AB. Målet var att skapa en mobilapplikatioin för individer som vill bokföra sin alkoholkonsumtion. Som en del utav arbetet önskade projektgruppen bjuda in slutanvändare till processe, för att ta del utav deras idéer och feedback.Genom att låta en grupp slutanvändare själva skissa och beskriva sina lösningar och en annan grupp jobba fram en pappersprototyp tillsammans i en workshop gavs utvecklaren ett brett stöd för val i designprocessen.Det visar sig att de som individuellt skissa har inte låtit sig begränsas av antingen kravspeciifikationen eller mediet (mobiltelefon), utan har istället beskrivit funktionalitet framför design. Tvärtom har de som jobbat i workshop hållit sig inom ramarna för kravspecifikationen och mediet och skapat en komplett och implementerbar pappersprototyp..

The purpose of this thesis is to explore how the internal information processing and management is carried out within a unit of Viskafors municipality. Furthermore, to explore and make recommendations of how the organisation can improve its internal information management. To get a full picture I have interviewed people at different levels of the organisation. The main findings showed that there was a dysfunction in the internal information processing and management. For example the study showed that the internal information did not reach out to the different parts of the organisation due to insufficient information processing.

Eftersom webbokningssystem kan ge stora fördelar för feedback och valmöjligheter jämfört med övriga bokningstekniker, är detta ett sätt att boka på som allt fler människor väljer. I de webbokningssystem som existerar idag finns det dock flera brister, dels beroende på att de ser ganska olika ut beroende på vilket företag som står för dem och dels därför att inte alla möjliga funktioner utnyttjas. I detta examensarbete har det därför genom intervjuer och enkäter undersökts hur användarna vill att ett webbokningssystem ska se ut och vilka funktioner som ska finnas. De slutsatser som har arbetats fram är antalet sidor ett webbokningssystem bör vara uppbyggt av samt om och hur olika funktioner bör användas i ett webbokningssystem, och hur dessa i så fall ska se ut. De resultat som framtagits i arbetet ger goda riktlinjer om hur ett webbokningssystem bör se ut och kan användas som en guide för uppbyggnaden av webbokningssystem.

During 2007 the City of Stockholm installed five grid connected photovoltaic systems. The aim of this master thesis is to quantify the amount of produced energy and recommend routines to collect and analyse production data, to make production data accessible by the public and to gain experience for future installations.The total amount of produced energy until March 2009 is 227 000 kWh, with an annual rate of 150 000 kWh. The expected annual rate was 148 000 kWh.All system owners are positive about their plants and see economical benefits in scaling up such systems.The installations need very little attendance and maintenance, however it is recommended that an alarm function is installed for automatic feedback in case of a system failure. All future systems should be inspected during full operation to determine if the actual capacity is matching the installed capacity..

The following report is a constructive responsive evaluation of Svalövs communes unit for newly arrived refugees based on a qualitative user- and stakeholder model. The main purpose is to evaluate the units? quality from a user and stakeholder perspective. The main findings are that the users and stakeholders are satisfied with the quality of the units? services but request further social and structural participation.

The purpose of this masters thesis is to study two subject gate-ways within the field of Swedish higher education and academic research, concerning structuring and selection of Internet resources to facilitate information retrieval for their target groups, and also to study two co-operation projects in the same field, one national and one European, to see how the co-operation is being carried through and how the gateways in the projects can serve from a wider perspective. The gateways, AGORA and NOVAGate, are being studied mainly by their Web sites and two e-mail interviews with persons responsible for the gateways. Facts about the national project are principally based on an interview with BIBSAM. The European Renardus is being studied out of articles and information on the Web site. From the results of the study it is being clear that the purpose of the gateways is to make a quality-selection of information accessible via the Internet and thereby facilitate for their target groups to find usable information.
