This study departs from the observation that since the late 1980´s educational programmes for curators have been established and since then expanded greatly. The programmes are part of a process of institutionalization and professionalization of the role of the curator within the international contemporary art field where the role as such has gained much power. Even though many statements have been made about this relatively new phenomenon of curatorial studies, there is a lack of sufficient research. The intention of this study is therefore to examine the educational programmes as such. The selection of 15 programmes has been made with the purpose to include early as well as newly established and to cover a wide geographic area.

Eventuella orsaker som diskuteras är underliggande sjukdomar, behandling med immunnedsättande läkemedel, defekter i immunförsvaret och hormonell grund. Demodikos kan förekomma som en lokal och en generaliserad form. Den generella formen av demodikos kräver en långvarig behandling med antiparasitära och antibakteriella läkemedel och flertalet upprepade djupa hudskrap utförs för att följa behandlingseffekten. Djupa hudskrap används i diagnostiken för demodikos och utförs på patienter med klåda och alopeci.

The trend in milk production is similar in Sweden and across the world; the farms are getting fewer but increasingly bigger. The costs for hiring workers are increasing, which results in more cows per animal keeper. Sensors can then be a great tool for keeping track of animals which need special attention. With a reported decreasing fertility, sensors that can detect oestrus even at low levels can be especially helpful in bigger herds to pinpoint the cows that may be in oestrus. The number of farms with dairy cows that install AMS, Automatic Milking Systems, are increasing, and that also increases the need for sensors to control milk quality and composition when there is no Visual control of the milk by a milker before milking starts.For the sensor data to be useful you have to have software designed to analyze and interpret the data to get relevant information that the farmer can use.

The senior essay examines the geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community that were mobilized in the media and by the government in conjunction with an event, namely, the space voyage of Christer Fuglesang ? the first Swedish astronaut in space on December ___ 2006. The study is a critical investigation of media discourses, representations of space, and geographical imaginations that were triggered by the event. The specific issues addressed by this study are (a) which representations of Sweden were mobilized in narrating the event? (b) In what ways has Fuglesang´s space voyage influenced the image of Sweden? (c) How was the event rallied vis-à-vis discourses of entrepreneurial culture and neoliberal growth by the government? (d) Which themes and clichés were mustered in the media dramaturgy of the event? (e) Which topics were excluded in media narratives and representation of the event? (f) Have familiar geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community been reconfigured? If so, how?The present study analyzes narratives of the event in the two largest newspapers in Sweden - Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter, as well the two biggest TV-channels ? Swedish Television and TV4.

Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete utfört på Volvo Personvagnar i Göteborg. Examensarbetet är avslutningen på civilingenjörsprogrammet i Industriell Ekonomi vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Volvo Cars Customer Service, hädanefter refererat till VCCS, är en enhet inom Volvo Personvagnar. VCCS ansvarar för eftermarknaden, med distribution av reservdelar och tillbehör. Varje artikel som levereras från VCCS ska vara förpackad i Volvos originalemballage enligt en given förpackningsinstruktion.

Lean was developed in Japan as a business philosophy in order to lead to an activity, where only steps that contribute to customer value of the final product are being performed. By defining the customer value and establish Visualized standards, it is possible to see when situations differ from the standard. Then it?s possible to lead the process back on track.

When the public artwork Dr?mmarnas monument was installed at G?taplatsen in Gothenburg in the summer of 2023, it became the starting point for one of Gothenburg's most talked about and controversial cultural events. Politicians, journalists, artists and the public made their voices heard, either criticizing the art installation or defending it. The local newspaper G?teborgs-Posten became a central arena for this cultural debate.

Peritonitis is a potentially life-threatening disease in horses. With no published work from Sweden, the objective of the study was to describe the occurrence and demographics of horses with peritonitis and to evaluate the outcome of treatment in terms of short-term survival during a ten-year period in a large clinic in Sweden. Data were examined in a retrospective manner in 69 horses diagnosed with and treated for peritonitis at Universitetsdjursjukhuset (UDS) in Uppsala between 2002-2012. Demographic data examined included age, breed, gender, history, duration of illness before arriving at UDS, reason for seeking veterinary care, initial clinical findings (general state of health, heart rate, respiratory rate, mucous membrane appearance, rectal temperature, abdominal sounds, rectal examination, nasogastric tube results), abdominocentesis results (abdominal fluid analysis including Visual inspection, leukocytes and protein, cytology, bacterial culture and sensitivity pattern), complete blood count (CBC), Serum amyloid-A (SAA) upon presentation and a follow up, plasma fibrinogen, plasma protein and albumin, treatments, length of hospitalisation and outcome. All medical records with the diagnosis of peritonitis were extracted from the medical records system Trofast. All records with any other diagnosis code referring to trauma such as rectal tear or ruptured uterus, recent abdominal surgery, external trauma or rupture in the gastrointestinal tract were excluded. To be included in the study, the peritoneal fluid should contain more than 20.000 cells/?L, have a peritoneal protein value of >30 g/L; or have a significantly changed peritoneal fluid sample (orange with increased turbidity or worse) in cases where no data on cells or protein were available. The horses were divided into two groups; one where the peritonitis was deemed to have an idiopathic aetiology (primary peritonitis) and the other group where the peritonitis had a possible aetiology such as intestinal parasites, impaction etc.

Det finns ett behov av hjälpmedel i skogsbranschen som underlättar det dagliga beslutstagandet som personalen ställs inför. Detta kan vara datamodeller som simulerar och optimerar olika beslutstaganden på beståndsnivå eller på skogsinnehavsnivå. Inom ramen för detta arbete programmerades ett kalkylstöd i Microsoft Excel med verktyget Visual Basic ©. Kalkylstödet kopplades samman med den av Skogforsk publicerade produktionsmodellen ProdMod (Ekö 1985) via makron. Med dessa två program kan beståndsutveckling och åtgärder simuleras på beståndsnivå med tillväxt, avverkningsuttag samt avverkningskostnad och intäkter som utdata.

SAMMANDRAGLerums kommun har en vision om att bli Sveriges ledande miljökommun till år 2025 eller tidigare. En stor del av arbetet, som kännetecknas av hållbarhet, kreativitet och inflytande, sker i Gråbo. Det är idag en ort som känns bortglömd och är lätt att passera utan vetskap om dess placering. Samhället har såväl synliga baksidor som är i behov av förbättring och förnyelse, som outnyttjade tillgångar som bör lyftas fram.Syftet med föreliggande arbete är att ta fram förslag på hur Gråbo kan förbättras både med avseende på hållbar samhällsutveckling samt estetiska och funktionsmässiga förbättringar av samhället.Arbetet påbörjades med en faktainsamling, som sedan låg till grund för en inventering på plats i Gråbo. Detta sammanställdes till en analys där tillgångar och problem presenterades med hjälp av Adobe Illustrator till flera kartor.

Rapporten har genomförts som ett examensarbete inom högskoleingenjörsprogrammet på Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan med inriktning på byggteknik och ekonomi. Examensarbetet utfördes på uppdrag av Bengt Dahlgren AB i samarbete med projektledare på företaget. Syftet med rapporten har varit att undersöka och förbättra sammorningen av installationer under projekterings- och produktionsstadiet. Det skulle dock vara omöjligt att täcka in alla aspekter av installationssamordningen under dessa stadier under den korta tid som funnits till förfogan för detta examensarbete. De frågeställningar som ställts under arbetets inledande sidor har därför getts en rad avgränsningar för att i första hand komma åt de aspekter som anses viktiga och lyfta upp dessa för utredning.Under arbetets gång och genom analysen av den empiriska datainsamling som gjorts har en uppfattning av installationssamordningens natur bildats.

The following thesis is a study of the forest history on the island of Ängsön-Marskär concentrating on the last three hundred years. The island is located in the administrative province of Stockholm, the local community of Haninge and it is situated approximately seven kilometres east of the island Ornö in the south of the Stockholm archipelago. The questions this thesis attempts to answer are: How where the natural resources on Ängsön-Marskär used through the centuries? How has the state of the forests developed since the 16th century? How will the nature develop onwards? The thesis is based on archival sources for Ängsön-Marskär and the surrounding areas. A field study was conducted where the entire island was investigated using an objective forest inventory method. The first map material existing over Ängsön-Marskär is from the year 1711.

Human-animal interaction is suggested to be a main feature within livestock production. The quality of handling, for instance, appears to be greatly depending on the attitudes and behaviour of the stock people. Various studies have been conducted on relationships between human and animals, but few have looked upon differences in human-animal interaction and attitudes between countries. Two countries often discussed in livestock production are The Netherlands and Sweden. It would be of interest to compare these two countries to find out whether (assumed) differences are reflected in the attitudes between animal handlers.

På uppdrag av CWR Engineering AB har en undersökning utförts över huruvida det är möjligt att skapa ett verktyg som kan hjälpa den mekaniska konstruktören inom processindustrin att höja kvalitetssäkringen och effektiviteten i sitt arbete med utrustningsritningar. Arbetet i utvecklingsprocessen i processindustrin strävar mot en tvärfunktionalitet. All konstruktion grundas i Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) där processen för exempelvis en kemikaliefabrik beskrivs i 2D-format med rörledningar, utrustningar och instrument specificerat till sort, men inte position. Dessa utrustningar ska sedan beskrivas detaljerat i en 2D-ritning. 2D-ritningen är i sin tur underlag för modellering av utrustningen i 3D.

Stormwater in urban areas has been treated as a problem for a long time. The large proportion of impermeable surfaces inhibits the water from infiltrating in the ground to the same extent that it does in nature. This causes intensive surface flow during rain, which in turn causes inconveniences such as decreased accessability, floods and increased risk of desease spreading. Drainage through pipes is the traditional and usually functional metod for storm water disposal. That is as long as water flows are moderate. But precipitation varies naturally in amount and intensity and additional impermeable surfaces make some pipes insufficient for heavy or lasting precipitation.
