In order to respond to a more complex community planning with increased cooperation and public participation, a common language and a common model to be used as a base for the communication process is needed. The thesis behind this dissertation for a master's degree is that a virtual 3D planning portal would respond to this need. Why and how are explained and described through studies of communication- and perception theory as well as technology and recent research. The introduction concludes that a broad participation and a transparence towards underlying information are important foundations for the coming work with the model. The first four chapters of the theory part show the benefits of using natural signs in our mixed cultural society, instead of the more arbitrary symbols. Using visual landscapes for storing information is motivated by the flexibility of our visual memory and its ability to understand complex connections.

AimThe aim of this study is to examine students' previous experiences of stay in the nature and their experiences of nature in the context of teaching situations in friluftsliv at GIH. It also aims to elucidate how the teaching of friluftsliv at GIH affects their former interpretation about nature. The questions of the study are: What past experiences of stay in the nature elucidate GIH-students? Have the students approach to nature changed according to the education? If yes ? how? What affects students' perception of nature? MethodTo answer the questions, a quantitative approach (questionnaire survey) and qualitative methods (interview study) was used. The qualitative method is based on phenomenology and hermeneutics.

Detta projekt drevs på uppdrag av Flex Datasystem som behövde en vidareutveckling av deras aktuella hemsida. Här finns bland annat möjlighet att direkt ladda ner uppdateringar för kundernas program. Problemet var att hemsidan inte innehöll någon information om uppdateringarna. Kunderna måste då vända sig direkt till supporten för att få information om vad som har åtgärdats. Det här projektet gick ut på att utveckla en funktionalitet som, med automatik, publicerar information om varje uppdatering.

Microsoft SharePoint 2013 är en plattform som är väldigt populär för utveckling av intranät. Möjligheterna för kommunikation inom en organisation bidrar till större och bättre informationsflöde inom organisationen samt leder till effektivare arbete inom organisationen. Microsoft Sharepoint 2013 är alltså ett intranät som blir ett centrum att vistas på samt där man träffar sina kollegor för att dela information och mycket mer.Detta examensarbete utgår från Microsofts välkända intranät Sharepoint 2013. Målet med examensarbetet har varit att skapa ett ärendehanteringssystem utifrån företaget Precio Systemutveckling AB:s beställning samt kravspecifikation . Utvecklingen har baserats på ?The great new app model? som under början på detta år (2013) introducerades utav Microsoft i den senaste versionen av Sharepoint: Sharepoint 2013.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag hur musikerns prestation påverkas av medhörningen. Jag har inriktat mig på sångare och sånginspelning i studio. I undersökningen har jag använt mig av tre informanter som fick sjunga till fem olika mixar i medhörningen. Jag analyserade sedan deras intonering, rytmisering och sångstyrka. Resultaten av undersökningen blev att intoneringen till viss del påverkas av medhörningen, rytmiseringen och sångstyrkan påverkas i hög grad av medhörningen..

Mobila lösningar blir allt vanligare och appar kan utvecklas för att hjälpa mobilanvändaremed det mesta. Att utveckla appar är populärt och kan göras i en mängd olika språk ochutvecklingsmiljöer, och projektet har haft som mål att både utveckla en användbar appoch utvärdera en sådan utvecklingsmiljö.PaddelAppen som utvecklats i projektet fyller ett tomrum genom att vara en resurs förpaddelintresserade. Samtidigt har utvecklingsarbetet resulterat i en utvärdering av utveck-lingsmiljön Xamarin, som använts tillsammans med Visual Studio för att plattformsobe-roende utveckla appen för både Android och Windows Phone..

Där har jag varit med under ett flertal filmproduktioner och fått lära mig hur hela postproduktionskedjan går till. Jag har varit med och studerat alla delarna som ingår så som ljudläggning, tramp, dialogbearbetning, eftersynk och mix. It's an everyday experience shared by many that nature can be of help in relieving pain, reducing stress, support mental recovery etc. In the last three decades or so this experience has also found support in a large number of scientific investigations. Among other things the experience of nature has been shown to reduce stress and pain in patients and to boost concentration and reduce impulsive behavior in children. Most of this research however has mainly been concerned with the visual modality. In this thesis the aim has been to focus on the auditory modality in this context by trying to reveal some effects on people from the exposure of nature sounds played indoors in three different environments: a grammar school class room, a kindergarten play room and a post-surgery wake up room at an intensive care unit.

The attitudes towards nature conservation in forestry are based on the individual forest owner. The theme of the interviews is the opinion on nature conservation in forestry. The purpose of this study is to identify if there is any difference in attitude to nature conservation in forestry according to the age of the forest owner. The study discusses different factors that affect the private forest owners consideration of nature conservation and give an insight in different generations attitude to nature conservation. Other topics that are discussed is if future change of generation will change the consideration of nature conservation in Swedish forestry and what is needed to enhance the interest in nature conservation among forest owners.This study is the result of interviews with a number of forest owners in the county of Uppsala, Sweden.

Studien analyserar den svenska PR-byrån Studio Total, som använder sig av gerillamarknadsföringsmetoder för att synas i den svenska mediala debatten. Företaget har fått stort genomslag genom att delvis utföra fiktiva reklamkampanjer som svenska folket och omvärlden har tagit del av. Konceptet av att marknadsföra produkter och värderingar genom nyhetsjournalistiken har inneburit att allmänheten känt sig vilseledda. Studio Total har även klivit in på en politiska arena där de kontroversiella kampanjerna har blivit kritiskt ifrågasatta och negativt mottagna. Studien försöker förklara om en PR-byrå kan verka inom en kommersiell och ideell marknad.En kvalitativ intervju har utförts med en av Studio Totals grundare och en kvantitativ enkätundersökning gjordes för att erhålla mediestudenters attityder till företaget.

The report aims to show how outdoor environments have been shaped with the purpose of experiencing them from the inside of buildings, through an overview perspective. Two Danish gardens are used as examples. One is the Baroque garden in the garden of Frederiksborg castle in Hillerød. The Baroque garden is thus a part of a larger garden. The second garden is the Charlotte Garden, a relatively newly constructed garden within a housing complex in Østerbro in Copenhagen. Both gardens are analyzed on the basis of visual expression and structure. In the report, it is also discussed how the contemporary society have evoked the different ways of shaping the gardens.

Today many children have limited experiences with the outdoors or nature. In most suburbs where people originate from many countries and have various ways of understanding nature is it perhaps in preschool that several children for the first time experience nature.This survey is qualitative and the main research methods are participant observations and interviews. The theories used in this study are mainly based on the thoughts of Dewey and Vygotskij as well as on ideas from outdoor education and different ways or ideas of understanding nature.The purpose with this study is to make clear in what ways nature is used by the teachers in preschool activities and how this work is done in preschools in multicultural suburbs. Questions at issue are: What way of understanding nature are the teachers trying to convey to the children? How is nature used in the ordinary outdoor activities by the preschool teachers? What are the teachers experiences of success and problems in this work?The conclusion is that nature is used in preschool activities in many ways.

The lily pad creatures arose out of my childhood memories of nature. This project has been an ongoing investigation of a workprocess as well as an exploration of my own sense of artistic idiom.
