This makes it interesting to see what kind of problems that exists in the current communication. Problem statement: What noise is there in communicating to a multicultural target group and how does they affect the goals and the result with the communication?Purpose: The purpose of this paper is based on the communicationmodel and from there describe the communication between companies and multicultural areas, and from this identify problems with such communication.Method: 118 respondents were selected through a convenience sample and then  asked questions through structured interviews based on a questionnaire.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

I have made a research about two different methods for introducing small children to Nursery School/Kindergarten. I choose to do this as I have found very little about this in the literature we have studied during my education to become a pre-school teacher.This period in the life of very small children and their parents is a big change in their daily life. The more traditional way to start pre-school is to do it very gradually during two weeks, the two-week method. This means that the parents Visit the pre-school together with their child for a very short time, about one hour the first day. After one week they leave their child with the staff for about an hour and at the end of that week they try to leave it full time (6-8 hours).

VAV (Variable Air Volume) system has been studied in a newly constructed office-building. The goal for the study has been to evaluate how the ventilations system work in practice, if adjustments can be made to achieve an more energy efficient system and to evaluate if other alternative ventilation systems is to be preferred in the further.The degree project has been executed at Helenius Engineering Firm who is working with the environment, media systems, HVAC and energy in buildings. The building that has been studied is owned and operated by Akademiska hus.Literature studies, Visits at site, inventory, review of system documentation, energy analyses, interviews, key figures, LCC, sand energy- and indoor climate simulations has been made to study the building. Where appropriate some tools from Six Sigma have also been used.How to achieve an energy efficient system and a pleasant indoor climate is studied with human health and well-being as base for the indoor climate requirements. Technical support systems such as ventilation systems have to be designed so that an acceptable indoor climate can be achieved.

Ett besök på Ica fick oss som kommande uppsatsförfattare att begrunda hur vi resonerar i våra val av varumärken i dagligvaruhandeln. Efter en snabb Visit kunde vi konstatera att dessa val sedan lång tid tillbaka är bestämda och djupt rotade i vårt undermedvetna. Tankarna fördes vidare och blev sedan inledningsfasen till de två grundpelare som genomsyrar denna uppsats ? lojalitet och lågengagemang. Med dessa grundpelare som stöd kom vi sedan att ifrågasätta oss varför hög lojalitet inte nödvändigtvis bygger på ett djupt engagemang.

Adjustment to acquired hearing loss can be understood as a process of learning and change where the point of departure is the subjective apppraisal of a person?s hearing loss in a social and cultural context. The aim of the study was to describe women?s thoughts, emotions and actions prior to audiological rehabilitation, since these are considered important for the ongoing process of adjustment and for the planning of rehabilitation. A phenomenographical approach was used in order to describe the variation in the women?s attitudes before attending rehabilitation.

SammanfattningUppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och analysera hur nyckelaktörer arbetar med att göra Stockholms skärgård till en exportmogen turistdestination. För att uppnå detta syfte har vi utgått från forskningsfrågan:·     Hur arbetar Stockholm skärgårds nyckelaktörer med destinationsutveckling och destinationsmarknadsföring för att attrahera fler internationella besökare?                                                                                                                        Sverige som turistdestination har ökat markant i attraktionsvärde under de senaste åren, och därför måste Sverige kunna leverera mer exportmogna destinationer, så vi kan möta de utländska besökarnas behov och krav. Stockholms skärgård består av nära 30 000 öar och etablerades som ett turistparadis redan i början av 1900-talet i Sverige. Än idag ses skärgården som en landsbygdsidyll och rekreationslandskap för många svenska fritidshusägare och turister.

We have made a qualitative study where we have chosen to interview a number of respondents consisting of ophthalmologists, eye nurses and patients. The purpose of the study was to examine employees' perceptions of patient-related status and treatment and quality, and meaningful participation in the work. The conducted interviews, we then sat in relation to how patients experienced the Visit to the eye clinic and their perception of accessibility and hospitality. The result is then compared against the policy of the Title use of internally and we have also tried to explain what is happening with the help of various theorists. Theorist that we made use of is Maslow, Foucault, Deming (TQM) and Herzberg.

The purpose of Älvdalens besparingsskog is to develop the district and most of all the forestry in Älvdalen. It's owned by about 2 300 private forest owners who's landed properties are located in Älvdalen. Every year the besparingsskogen gives out a lot of its profit in form different types of subsidies for agriculture and forestry. The owners can apply for subsidies for several of the costs that occur in forestry. During the period 2000-2003 the owners are offered forest management plans and pcSKOG-gård at no cost for their private forest properties. The purpose of this master's thesis was to find out if the activity in the forestry changed when the forest owners got new forest management plans and the computer program pcSKOG-gård.

Den tredje september 2013 vann beslutet om Entré Syd laga kraft och det stod således klart att Ikea med tillhörande köpcentrum kommer att etablera sig på Söderslätts handelsområde. Detta har bidragit till att handlare och politiker i Umeå känner sig oroliga för hur övrig handel kommer att påverkas, där oron för centrumhandeln är framträdande.Historiskt sett har lokalisering varit huvudsakligt fokus för forskning inom detaljhandeln där senare forskning snarare sett andra aspekter som påverkar en konsument. Med detta som utgångspunkt har vi, på uppdrag av Visit Umeå, genomfört en studie där fokus har varit att undersöka om attributen: lokalisering, tillgänglighet, butiksutbud, service och övriga aktiviteter samt de bakomliggande faktorerna ålder, kön, inkomst, utbildning och bilinnehav påverkar en konsument i valet mellan externhandeln med tillhörande Ikea-varuhus och centrumhandeln. Uppsatsen utgår från Falk och Julanders modell för hur kunder väljer inköpsställe. Vidare bygger den teoretiska referensramen på teorier om konsumentbeteende. Detta för att förstå vad som påverkar konsumenter.

The forests in Sweden have, for a long time, been managed intensively. This has led to even-aged stands with few tree species and a lack of dead wood. Therefore, general conservation measures in connection with regeneration felling are important in order to promote biodiversity. Inventories carried out by the Swedish Forest Agency, however, show that about 25 % of the felled area does not reach the level of the Forestry Act, regarding general conservation measures. The aim of my study was to see whether exemptions from the six week notice of reporting regeneration fellings (the Forest Agency demands a report six weeks in advance of fellings), affect the results of the general conservation measures taken.

Det finns mycket som pekar på att turismen i Stockholmsregionen kommer att öka i framtiden. Gästnätterna har de senaste åren ökat stadigt och i Svensk turisms Vision 2020 är målet att turismen ska öka och att Sverige ska bli en attraktiv besöksdestination. Runtom i världen finns det många exempel på exploaterade områden som i brist på hållbar turismutveckling tagit skada, både naturområden och lokala samhällen. För att en destination ska kunna vara attraktiv krävs noga planering och ett samarbete mellan aktörer och lokalbefolkning.Studien utgår från begreppet hållbar turism med huvudfokus på de sociala aspekterna. Undersökningen bygger på turismens påverkan och vilken betydelse den har för det lokala samhället i Stockholms skärgård.

Fieldstudys on 22 farms (23 silos) to study relationships between the actual particle size of the maize silage and the theoretical length of cut. The measure of theoretical length of cut were stated by the farmers and not measured by us. Particle size of maize silage was determined using the New Penn State Forage Particle Separator. SLU Skara made a special sieve for us, that had larger holes than de original sieves. The samples were shaken after instructions and then the material was weighted. We have also been taking out samples for microbiological analyses from the silos on 13 of the farms.

The cooperation between university and industry life in the region of Gävle is always a topic of importance. University and High schools have various roles to fulfill: except administrating the training and supporting research they should also - as a third role - contribute to cooperation between organizations, business companies and other associations. In addition to that, they should support individuals by local as well as regional development. The purpose of our paper is to make a critical review of the cooperation between the University of Gävle (HiG) and industry life until today and the consequences in order to encourage students to stay in the Gävle region during and after their period of studies.Initial we started with a preliminary inquiry with a questionnaire as a base for students in three programs at the Department of Economy; the program for Bachelor of Science, the program for estate agent and another economy program with direction estate economy. From this preliminary inquiry we got the picture of the way the students looked at the problem.
