Within the Swedish school and the public library communities it is generally held as a truth that reading of fiction develops the empathic ability of the reader. This opinion is also expressed in political guiding documents for the school system and cultural sector. This paper's main hypothesis is that there is no assembled theoretic ground for the statement that reading of fiction develops the empathic ability. The investigation consists of two parts, the first being theoretical and the second empirical. Definitions of what empathy and reading is, are reviewed in the first part.

Denna studie syftar till att kartlägga VDC-arbetet i ett husbyggnadsprojekt ochdärmed bidra till ökad förståelse för hur byggprojekt kan genomföras med VDC.Användningen av VDC i bygg- och fastighetsbranschen drivs internt av krav påeffektivisering och externt av krav på högre kvalitet och produktvärden (ISO, 2012).En fallstudie gjordes hos ett svenskt byggföretag för att få förståelse för hurhusbyggnadsprojekt genomförs med VDC. Fallstudiens mål var att klargöra orsakertill att VDC-specifika aktiviteter upphörde i det specifika byggprojektet.Datainsamlingen utgjordes av intervjuer med personer som varit involverade i detstuderade projektet. Internationella, nationella och företagsspecifika riktlinjer förVDC-arbete sammanställdes till en analysmodell som sedan jämfördes medfallstudiens resultat. Utifrån analysen drogs slutsatserna att VDC-specifikaaktiviteter kopplade till utredningsstadiet utfördes till viss del. Aktiviteter koppladetill produktbestämningsstadiet utfördes i stor utsträckning.

Swedish municipals schools have been given an assignment to convey basic values to pupils. The assignment is to bring up the pupils through transmitting and developing a heritage such as values, traditions, language and knowledge. Together along with the lasting knowledge which constitutes the community frame of reference everybody needs. There by is the purpose of this study through a qualitative method to investigate how the schools assignment to create a community national identity of the pupils is interpreted by the teachers in introduction classes. Even how the teachers in this study response to ?Swedish? culture by presenting and educate the pupils in this.

Christianity has for a long time played a significant role in the Swedish school system, which can be seen in the syllabus of the course religion in 2011 where Christianity got a special status and the Christian alignments were explicit named. The aim of this essay was to see whether, and if so how, Christianity and its three alignments ? Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Protestantism ? had developed a greater impact in religion textbooks for grades 7?9 adapted to Lgr 11 compared to Lpo 94 and partly to see if there had been any changes and to what extent. The main question concerned whether Christianity had a greater impact in religion textbooks adapted to Lgr 11 than Lpo 94 and how Christianity could be seen as culture-religion. The sub-questions concerned whether there was any differences in what Christianity is and to what extent Christianity were represented in religion textbooks, but also if any difference to what range the three alignments where represented. The study consisted of six religion textbooks for grades 7?9, where three were adapted to Lpo 94 and three to Lgr 11.

Sociala medier och communities har blivit en del av de flesta konsumenters vardag. Företag använder internet som medium för att bygga upp lojalitet och nätverka med sina kunder och i förlängningen nå framgång. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur ett onlinemagasin kan bygga nätverk och skapa relationer till sin målgrupp för att bli framgångsrikt. Framgång på internet handlar om att få fler besökare till hemsidan och därför vill vi förstå vad det är som gör kunder lojala när det kommer till användandet av internethemsidor inom mode.Det saknas forskning kring hur nätverkande inom mode kan skapa kundlojalitet på internet, och det tomrummet ämnar vi fylla. Genom att använda oss av en forskningsmodell för ?kundlojalitet genom nätverkande?, har vi kunnat ta fram diskussionsfrågor som vi låtit tre fokusgrupper diskutera.

Vi vill undersöka hur Företaget har implementerat idéerna, och på vilket sätt detta påverkar de anställdas kunskap kompetens och lärande. Vidare vill vi även se vilka utmaningar som förekommer i skapandet av ett kunskapsdelande företag.Metod: Vi genomförde kvalitativa intervjuer med sex personer som alla är involverade i arbetet med knowledge management på Företaget.

The introduced lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) occupies more than 650 000 hectares in Sweden. There are some differences between lodgepole pine and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) forests which could affect bird assemblages, for example differences in canopy density and ground vegetation. Birds were surveyed in 14 localities in northern Sweden, each characterized by one middle-aged stand of lodgepole pine next to a stand of Scots pine. The two paired stands in each locality were planted by the forestry company SCA at the same time and in similar environment to evaluate the potential of lodgepole pine in Sweden. In those 14 localities, one to three point count stations were established in both the lodgepole pine and the Scots pine stand, depending on the size of the area.

Introduction: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a great public health issue that can cause serious physical, psychological and psychosomatic injuries to the woman. Education is one out of many important protective factors against IPV. Aim: This study aimed to investigate the association between women?s educational level and IPV in low- and middle-income countries, the interaction between the education of the woman and the man and IPV, how education on different levels (individual-, family- and community-level) influences IPV and how gender is connected to education and IPV. Method: A literature-based study with 12 selected scientific articles as the foundation for the analysis was performed.
