The digital flexor tendon sheath (DFTS) is an important anatomical and functional structure in the horse. Disorders of the DFTS can result in devastating consequences for the horse. During the last decade, the possibilities to diagnose and treat disorders of the DFTS have been argumented. The main purpose of this paper is to describe the technique of tenoscopy and it's applications. The aim is also to review the anatomy of the fetlock canal, the differnet types of tenosynovitis, proximal annular ligament constriction and to describe the ultrasonographic examination of the DFTS..

Mitt syfte med den här undersökningen var att belysa problem som uppstår då musiker med olika bakgrund och genretillhörighet samarbetar i ett gemensamt projekt. Undersökningen utfördes på ett konsert- och showprojekt kallat ?SMASK? ? Sveriges MusikAkademikers Sång Kåntest vid Musikhögskolan i Piteå 2007. Uppsatsen består av två delar där den första utgör reflektioner kring genremöten. The development within the textile industry is always ongoing with development of new andbetter textiles, which often mean the use of non-natural materials like polyester. This doesn?t lineup with the work shared around the world against an improved environment, so the idea came touse a form of linen fibers instead of polyester as the reinforcing material together with cotton.The idea was to use flax, linen of low quality, which is seen as a waste product and garbage inthe production of high quality linen and flax seed oil. This flax of low quality needs to beseparated before it can be used in cotton spinning machines. Fireball 2 is just that, a process toseparate flax fibers through the treatment of a technique called electrohydraulic discharge.The thesis works goal is to evaluate the Fireball 2 process ability to separate flax fiber.

AbstractThe future of ethanol is depending on good solutions for the production. ENA energy power plant produces electrical power and district heating by heating biofuel. By building an integrated bioenergy plant surplus steam could be used to produce ethanol as fuel to vehicle.This would mean that ethanol is produced renewable energy and the energy for the process derives from the surplus of power.  ENA energy, MDH (the University of Mälardalen) and the energy authority has initiated a research project were different bioenergy combinations integrate with existing power plant.  As a part of the project which size an integrated factory should be to gain the best efficiency for the plant was investigated. Our project is divided into two parts, one production and written report. The main focus was the production part, were we used PHP to create simple solution for handling SMS and MMS with direct communication with the mobile operator server. We communicate with sockets and can handle CIMD2 and MM7 protocol. To get our components easy to use we have created two classes to handle SMS and MMS. To demonstrate our technical platform we created a website were you can create an account.

Detecting small signals with a comparator demands that the total voltage offset is lower than the actual signal. The total offset includes the voltage offset in the comparator and the voltage offset that is created by the offset currents that flows thru the load at the comparators input. The goal with this comparator that has been developed has been that it will have a total voltage offset at maximum 500 uV. The comparator does not need to be extremely fast or does not need to operate in a big frequency area. To have all the flexibility that is needed a full custom technique is used.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få ökad kunskap om och förståelse för vilka didaktiska val fiolpedagoger kan göra för att främja elevers motivation till att spela och öva. För att komma närmare ett svar på denna önskan har intervjuer med fyra fiolpedagoger genomförts. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för studien är det sociokulturella perspektivet, det vill säga ett perspektiv där det sociala sammanhanget betonas och där läraren ses som en viktig del i lärandet. Resultatet visar att de fyra intervjuade fiolpedagogerna anser att det sociala sammanhanget är det viktigaste för elevers motivation, eftersom det medför att undervisningen upplevs som meningsfull. De anser även att föräldrar kan påverka elevers motivation och att övning är en viktig faktor för att eleverna ska utvecklas.

This thesis is performed in cooperation with Prodelox AB and JTI (Swedish Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering). The purpose of the project is to generate and develop a WC-technique with a closet sewer that keeps a higher TS-substance than 1.5 %. The WC-technique is mainly directed towards permanent households in sparsely-populated areas and cabins. The goal is to generate concepts of toilets with an extremely low use of water in terms of flushing. The design should be appealing and touch more senses than only the visual.
