Eftersom kritisk design a?r en teori som stra?var efter att fo?ra?ndra i praktiken ligger utmaningen idag i att skapa praktiska exempel som visar hur utfo?randet kan ga? till, vilket a?r en no?dva?ndighet fo?r att teorin ska kunna utvecklas (Bardzell et al., 2012).Denna studie a?mnar vara metodutvecklande genom att skapa en uppsa?ttning verktyg utifra?n utvalda delar (teoretiska metoder och perspektiv) ur kritisk design.

Även om de flesta av oss i dagsläget vet att våra mobila enheter kan tappa sina nätverksanslutningar lite då och då har det mer eller mindre blivit en självklarhet att i alla lägen ändå kunna använda våra favoritapplikationer som vanligt. Denna rapport syftade till att hitta en lösning på problemet med nätverksberoende applikationer genom att implementera ett offline-läge som kringgick detta beroende i GreatRate, en iOS-applikation för kundundersökningar i butik. Med hjälp av en databas för att mellanlagra data under tillfällen då en duglig nätverksanslutning inte fanns tillgänglig samt synkronisering av nämnda data när anslutningen åter blivit funktionell förväntades problemet kringgås. Resultatet blev som väntat en applikation som gav användaren en förhöjd användarupplevelse helt oberoende av nätverksanslutningens status. Några av slutsatserna som drogs var dock att flera olika lösningar finns för detta problem och att problemet högst troligt har olika utseenden för olika applikationer..

The purpose of this study was to examine leadership in the public sector based on leadership models, organizational factors, conditions and health of employees. The study was divided into sub-study one and two. In sub-study one the design was an observational study using cross sectional design in which 67 first line managers in the public sector answered a survey about conditions and leadership models. Sub-study two was an observational study using case-control design focusing on a health promoting leadership intervention in the municipal sector. Two semi-structured interviews and 41 surveys were collected.

Det övergripande syftet med den här studien är att, som slöjdlärare, bättre förstå den egna verksamheten i lektionssalen och därmed få större möjligheter att vidareutveckla planering och didaktiska insatser. I ett examensarbete på egen hand och med små möjligheter till kollegialt stöd, har det varit speciellt intressant att se vad en videokamera kan erbjuda i grundmaterial för en uttolkning av det som händer. Det preciserade syftet har blivit; Att utifrån aktivitetsmönster bedöma hur effektiva mina slöjdlektioner är idag, samt att söka förbättringar med stöd i styrdokument, forskning och lokala pedagogiska satsningar. Studien visar att de två lektionerna utgör en något svår miljö för eleverna att utvecklas i. En principiell arbetsgång enligt slöjdprocessen har etablerats hos eleverna, men de går in i de självständiga arbetspassen med dålig planering och dålig förtrogenhet med nödvändiga verktyg. Den begränsade tillgången till läraren räcker inte för att upprätthålla effektiva slöjdprocesser genom hela lektionen. Högre effektivitet är möjlig att åstadkomma, både till produktivitet och nytta. Nyttan i form av lärande i slöjd kommer sannolikt att gynnas av att produktiviteten ökar hos elever med en utdragen slöjdprocess.

The Swedish geographer Gerd Enequist (1903-1989) left behind great amounts of private and work material when she passed away. This was donated to the University Library of Uppsala, Carolina Rediviva, in three different accessions. This resulted in three different record. The subject of this report is the progress of assembling these record into one complete record.The registering led to many important decisions such as the role of provenance and the relation of private and public documents. Above all the special nature of personal archives have been a topic of discussion.

With this paper we intend to investigate what kind of benefits there are by adding commodity futures to a well-diversified portfolio. Since the last fifteen years the commodity speculation has grown tremendously, which partially can be explained by that commodities exposes the investor to certain factors other than an investment in equities. According to our calculations the commodity futures have outperformed stocks during our research period, which partially could be explained by the increasing demand of physical commodities in developing countries e.g. India & China (Akey, 2005). By constructing different portfolios consisting of equities and corporate bonds we could investigate whether our portfolios will benefit from commodity futures and how this will vary over different levels of risk.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to investigate how the students at Chalmers University of Technology at Lindholmen in Gothenburg use libraries in their schoolwork. The empirical material consists of the answers of questionnaires that were handed out to two classes of students, on the second year of their education. To illustrate the topic there are a theoretical frame and examples of earlier studies. The theoretical frame is Limbergs texts that deal with for example information seeking and how important it is in all education. The earlier studies are about student's different ways of using libraries.

Internet's entry into our home has changed our communication capabilities. As a result more and more services in the digital world are available. Besides e.g. shopping, gaming and general information, different social networks now offer preventive and therapeutic health-oriented services. When being asked by several young people, with whom I have been working in a clinical setting, to offer conversations over the Internet that enables both to see and to hear each other in real time, I decided to conduct a pilot study which is presented in this paper. The aim was to investigate the feasibility of offering supportive therapy using video calls over the Internet.

To guarantee protection of our drinking water, water catchment protections are established. These are divided into three different zones and in the first zone it is most likely that an activity, such as agriculture, will contaminate the water resource. Hence the activities are strongly regulated or banned. The EU communion is working towards a sustained water quality through several directives; Nitrate Directive, Waterframwork directives and Sustainable use of pesticide directive. The main purpose is to regulate the diffuse pollution from agriculture.This thesis is about how Denmark, Germany and France are working towards a sustainable agriculture within water protection areas.

With a larger awareness of the climate changes and increasing electricity prices, energy efficiency measures in the industry have become more common. By rationalize the activity and by the same time decrease the emission of greenhouse gases the company can both save money and reduce negative environmental impact. For the Swedish industries the electricity price have traditional been relative low, which has resulted in a considerable larger usage than other European countries. By a deregulation of the European electricity market the electricity price will level off between the countries, which will cause a higher electricity price in Sweden than we are use to. To prevent that the Swedish industry don?t lose competitiveness against the other European countries, it will require energy efficiency activities in all different forms.ABB Sweden has decided to decrease their total energy usage with five percent in two years.

This research is about different perspectives, offered by three mother tongue teachers, one principal and also featuring a representative from Skolverket, on the subject: teacher legitimation for mother tongue teachers, mother tongue teachers opportunity for competence education and the future of mother tongue education in Sweden.The theoretical framework is mother tongue language, globalization, the post-colonial theory, power and social inequality. A qualitative approach was used including five interviews taken place in Stockholm, the results does not however represent the whole country nor the community of Stockholm itself.The result shows that mother tongue teachers thinks the teacher legitimation does not mean anything regarding their already low-status. Even principal and representative from Skolverket express their concern towards the 'non-demand' for mother tongue teachers to get their legitimation and they feel there is a lack of ambition from decisonmakers to include the mother tongue teachers.As per today there is no higher education for mother tongue teachers leading towards an exam. Mother tongue teachers are worried about their future although principal and representant takes a bright outlook. .

Course: Master's Thesis in Business AdministrationPurpose: The purpose with this paper is to give an insight, and to compare, the project management of two IT-projects ? one which product was implemented and put into use, and one, which was implemented but no longer exists on the market. Furthermore also examine the critical success factors that influence the success respectively the failure of the IT-projects. Method: To attain the purpose with our study we have chosen a qualitative method. We have carried out interviews with two of the project managers of the IT-project of the two large companies.Result: A couple of problems occurred within the IT-projects of the large companies.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att genom granskning av vetenskaplig litteratur undersöka hur de riskfaktorer i arbetet som orsakar utbrändhet bland sjuksköterskor kan förebyggas. Frekvensen av utbrändhet i Sverige har ökat sedan slutet av 90-talet och de riskfaktorer som har identifierats av olika forskare är av organisatorisk, individuell och social genes. För att uppnå syftet gjordes en litteraturstudie som grundar sig på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar. Som teoretisk referensram valdes Demerouti´s Job Demand-Resourcesmodell för att tydliggöra begreppet utbrändhet. Mätinstrumentet MBI användes också för att förklara hur utbrändhet kan mätas.

The ?National strategy? puts the private forest owner at the centre ofattention in order to achieve the environmental goal ?Living forests?.
