Jag följde under ett par månader ett antal elever och studenter i ett projekt som pågick under hösten 2007. Utifrån en diskussion om dokumentation och maktutövning som bygger på en Foucaultsk förståelse av makt- och diskursbegreppen tog jag fram en modell för pedagogisk dokumentation med video där dokumentationens form och innehåll bestämdes av den som blev dokumenterad: två av tio elever och två av fyra studenter fick i uppgift att spela in en minut videofilm om dagen som dokumentation av ett veckolångt projekt. Dessa filmer, samt observationer av arbetet under projektveckan, ligger till grund för en utvärdering av metoden, samt en analys av vilka maktstrategier som använts av aktörerna inom den diskurs projektet utgör. Metoden visade sig svår att förankra hos deltagarna och ansatsen att låta dem styra över materialet blev svårare att förverkliga än jag föreställt mig. För en bredare uppslutning i den avslutande gruppdiskussionen hade jag i efterhand velat engagera fler än fyra av deltagarna i dokumenterandet. I analysen av hur makt utövades mellan grupper i projektet fann jag att studenterna ofta använde vad som kan kallas för ett problemformuleringsprivilegium för att styra arbetet, och att de vid behov legitimerade det genom att låna in argument från utanpåliggande diskurser, främst från skolans värld. Eleverna, som saknade problemformuleringsprivilegiet, svarade med att göra motstånd genom bland annat arbetsvägran..

In this paper, we examine the attitudes of 16- to 19-year olds towards stealth viral marketing in the form of videos posted on websites such as Youtube. Apart from their general attitudes towards the phenomenon, we were also concerned with their views on the ethics involved in this marketing method and how this affects their view on the companies behind the advertising. To accomplish this, we administered a survey to a sample chosen by convenience. Using the Persuasion Knowledge Model and prior research on the subject, we then analyzed the gathered data and reached the conclusion that the respondents in our sample were mainly positive towards stealth viral marketing in this particular form, that they generally did not consider it unethical and that even though most considered the companies to be responsible for such videos, teenagers were not likely to take negative actions against them if they found out that a video that they had seen was in fact a stealth viral video..

Ett par år in på 2000-talet präglas företagen av större marknader, globalisering och ökat fokus på IT. Mycket pengar går åt till resor världen över när man öppnar kontor, besöker fabriker eller utökar sina marknader. Man arbetar i globala team och utnyttjar kunskaper och erfarenheter som andra kulturer har. När lågkonjunkturen kommer får man tänka om, och man drar ner på både personal och resor. Hur fungerar det när man måste fortsätta sitt arbete men inte får resa som man gjort förut? Går det att fortsätta i vanlig ordning? Vad händer när man nu inte kan träffa sina kollegor, mötas och interagera som man brukade göra?Enligt Nationalencyklopedin har vi en inre drivkraft att kommunicera, att göra oss förstådda och att interagera med andra människor.

Denna C-uppsats undersöker om tittarens attityder till marknadsföring på webb-TV kan förändras av en interaktiv tjänst som ger möjligheten att välja de reklamfilmer som ska presenteras. För att skaffa information använde vi oss av en empirisk studie som involverade fokusgruppsintervjuer med erfarna deltagare. Studien är därför baserad på respondenternas tidigare kunskap av webb-TV för att kunna jämföra dessa mot den nya experimentella implementerade tjänsten. Efter studien har vi funnit att attitydförändringar verkar har inträffat: Majoriteten av tittarna tycker att en valbar reklamtjänst skulle öka tittarupplevelsen till det bättre. The final thesis named Tracking in Sensor Networks was created by the company Instrument control Sweden. The thesis work is to create a plug-in to an already developed software pro- gram, SkyView. Via the software program one should be able to control an IP-camera from AXIS, model 215 PTZ, with the appropriate protocol over a network.  An Application Programming Interface, API, was used to easily control the camera through SkyView. The interface is called VAPIX and is used to all cameras from AXIS.

This essay examines computer and video games and their capacity of being useful in teaching sessions. Focus is being put at a possible pedagogical potential and how it is being expressed in games mechanics. To get answers on these subjects? studies by Professor James Paul Gee and Jesse Schell is used together in creating a model for analysis. With this model together with a narrative analysis this essay hopes to give clarifications on if a pedagogical potential is present and if so, how it is being expressed.Studies in this paper shows that a pedagogical potential is overall present in used material.

Play is an important part of children´s everyday life, it is through play children develop. Play occurs a lot in kindergarten and in this study, the aim is to examine how play activities play is used in preschool teaching and the role of the teacher´s in the play. Video recordings of play activities done and qualitative methods (conversation analysis) has been used to analyze the video recordings. The results of this study show that play are widely used as a pedagogical tool in preschool. It is through play children develop.

In two feeding experiments Bacillus induced priming of plant defense was tested for its effect against the generalist insect pest Spodoptera littoralis. The main hypothesis for the study was that Bacillus induced priming would enable the plant Arabidopsis thaliana to defend itself better against this insect herbivore since this priming seems to involve jasmonic acid, known to be important for plant defense to insects. A secondary objective of the study was to examine if any differences in a primed defense capability could be seen between different natural genetic variants (ecotypes) of A. thaliana reflecting habitat differences in pest pressure. The methods used for plant cultivation and Bacillus inoculation were aimed at reflecting conditions that can be expected in an agricultural cropping system. This meant that all plants were cultivated in soil, and the feeding experiments were conducted with the plants growing intact in the soil system.

The purpose of this essay is to study the film culture in South Africa in a national cinema-context, focusing on the relationship between anti-apartheid film from 1974-1994 and the film in South Africa today. By pitching the South Africa-specific works of Lucia Saks and Jacqueline Maingard against the over-arching debate on national cinema as formulated by, amongst others, Stephen Crofts and Andrew Higson, this study aims to find whether or not a specific South African national cinema have existed, and exists today, or not. The study finds that an underground culture of documentaries and short films made by and for the black population has been in place since the apartheid, and the distribution method on video and television is still being used to reach the black population today. By re-examining the concepts of both the national, and of national cinema to also include film on video and television, the study shows that South Africa has indeed a film culture that can be called a national cinema..

The climate for video sharing online is somewhere in the border of becoming a place for only the big companies to distribute material with general interest, or small communities with genre-specific interest to attract a larger audience. In this article I will look at the travelindustry to see what possibilities can be implemented into communities with interest in planning and travelling. I will argue that the importance of collaboration with different media can create a bigger picture so that more people can use and discover each other?s travel videos and experiences. I have also taken a closer look at social interaction at online communities such as MySpace and YouTube.

I undersökningen utreddes det hur konsumenter ser på TVOD och kombinationen med SVOD. The aim of this study was to evaluate parents and course leaders'perceptions of ComHome, a course in communication for parents. Thecourse aims to change the interaction between the parent and the child in aselected play activity based on a defined goal and agreed methodology. Thedata consisted of four group interviews and an individual interview with atotal of 12 parents and course leaders. The interviews were transcribed andcontent analyzed. The study showed that parents and course leadersconsidered goal attainment scaling as a rewarding approach.

The aim of this study was to determine the basic movements of the riders? pelvis and upper body when riding in trot seated. The study was preformed at a treadmill with seven high level dressage horses and their riders. The movements of the horse and rider were captured with a motion analysis system (ProReflex®) and also recorded on video. The horses were ridden in collected trot, 3.0 m/s.
