The United Nations has, during many years, developed a model for a globally harmonized system for classification and labeling of chemicals, with the aim of it becoming a global standard. This system is implemented in the European Union through the CLP-regulation and is now working parallel to the existing directives until 1st of June 2015, when all the new classifications of substances and mixtures must be completed. The aim of this project was to adjust the laboratory to the new legislation, through inventory of stored chemicals, update the list of chemicals and perform self-classifications of mixtures. The work included handling of about 650 different chemicals with varying hazard classifications and search for information in corporate websites and chemical databases. This resulted in a new and complete list of chemicals stored and used in the laboratory and, in addition, an example of how to make a self classification of a mixture.

SyfteSyftet med undersökningen var att få en bild av flickors och pojkars läsvanor i skolår fyra på fritiden. Frågeställningarna var: Hur ofta läser eleverna på sin fritid? Vad läser eleverna på sin fritid? Finns det någon skillnad mellan flickornas och pojkarnas läsning?Teori Tiden i skolan räcker inte alltid till för att bli en duktig läsare, utan eleverna måste även läsa på sin fritid. Genom att ta del av elevernas egna läspreferenser och använda den kunskapen kan undervisningen utvecklas och anpassas för att tillmötesgå elevernas egna intressen och behov. Detta i sin tur kan leda till ett ökat läsintresse på fritiden.

The financial crisis in 2008, effected companies around the globe and forced them to change their operational strategies, in order to survive. Companies with international links needed to consider external effects and due to that adapt their strategies on a global level. AbstractThis essay concerns a qualitative case study seeking to understand six boys? reading habits and to investigate why it is that some boys who do not like reading nevertheless display good reading comprehension according to the results achieved for that skill in national tests. The study shows that the boys? perception of reading has a lot to do with the contact they have with books when they are small. Whether or not there are adult role models in the home and whether the early encounter with texts in school is a positive or negative experience is significant for the boys? later attitude to reading.

Det finns ett begränsat utbud med forskning kopplat till hur fotbollstränare tänker kring ochgår tillväga under träningar inte bara i Sverige utan även internationellt. Studierna vi har tittat på är inte samtliga i ämnet men påpekar bristen av intresse att undersöka coachers didaktiska tillvägagångssätt kopplat till teoretiska kunskaper. Detta examensarbete utgår ifrån en artikel i vilken en metod för att skapa holografisk video beskrivs. Syftet med arbetet är att återskapa denna metod. Metoden bygger på projicering av hologram med hjälp av delar från en projektor, en laser och några linser.Först görs en litteraturstudie för att få förståelse över hur metoden fungerar. Här behandlas hur ögat ser djup och vilka olika typer av displayer det finns för att återge tredimensionella holografiska bilder. Background: In the martial art of Muay Thai, techniques are used with hands, elbows, knees and kicks. The contestants are divided into different weight classes and experience levels. The Swedish martial arts association has decided that techniques with elbow are not allowed in B-class. Markus och Kitayama definierar oberoende jag som ett jag som är självständig och separat från andra individer. Kollektivt jag definieras som ett sammankopplat till andra individer. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka upplevelser kring identitet som en person med invandrarbakgrund har. The purpose of this thesis is to do a critical review of the aid organization SOS Children?s Villages text- and video campaigns, from a postcolonial perspective. Our purpose is divided into two questions: Are there colonial values in the advertising campaigns? Which language- and image strategies are used by SOS Children?s Villages to put across their messages? Our material consists of 10 selected video clips, and four printed ads that are made up of an image and a short text, which are part of a campaign named: Inte ett enda barn ska behöva vara ensamt (translation: Not a single child should have to be alone). We have chosen to use text- and image analysis as a method in our review of the material.

Visuella vägledande element kan höja eller sänka en spelupplevelse. Därför har vi gjort en studie kring hur man kan uppnå intuitiv visuell navigation med fyra beprövade visuella vägledande element, nämligen ljussättning, färgkulör, färgmättnad samt objektplacering. Dessa element har använts för att skapa ett visuellt språk i en bana som vi har låtit ett antal respondenter spela och simultant kommentera. Resultaten har varit som väntat, att ljussättning fungerar som det starkast vägledande elementet, samt att respondenterna reagerade på, samt vägleddes av, nämnda element..

 Heterosexual individuals who live in a culture of honor are exposed to honor oppression in today?s Swedish society is well known. However, it is not equally recognized that LGBT-people from a culture of honor are exposed to honor oppression. The study aims to investigate how eight individuals belonging to the LGBT-group and the culture of honor feel about their ability to develop their true identity and live out their sexual orientation. The study is qualitative and the collected empirical material constitutes of chat interviews with young LGBT-people.
