Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur en grupp typiskt utvecklade, svenska barn, i åldrarna fyra till tio år presterar på tre deltest i VMPAC, för att därmed skapa ett underlag för en referens för svenska barn i bedömningen av avvikande utveckling. Studiens frågeställningar är: 1. Hur presterar en grupp typiskt utvecklade, svenska barn, i åldrarna fyra till tio år, på tre deltest i VMPAC (Focal Oromotor Control, Sequencing Maintenance Control och Connected Speech and Language Control)? och 2. Förekommer det några skillnader mellan en grupp typiskt utvecklade, svenska barn, jämfört med den amerikanska normeringen i VMPAC och barn med verbal dyspraxi (CAS) undersökta inom ramen för en magisteruppsats (Björelius-Hort, 2009)? Oral- och talmotorisk förmåga hos 23 svenska barn i åldrarna fyra till tio år, som åldersmatchats mot barn med verbal dyspraxi (Björelius-Hort, 2009), testades med deltest två, tre och fyra ur VMPAC.

Denna studie är en kvalitativ forskningsstudie med en etnografisk ansatts. Studien belyser hur barn i den mångkulturella förskolan integrerar med varandra genom både icke verbal kommunikation och verbal kommunikation. Genom observationer på två mångkulturella förskolor kan vi se problematiken att samspel och interaktion mellan barnen blir ett hinder då missförstånd och frustration synliggörs på grund av att språket mellan barnen inte samspelar. The Iranian artist Shirin Neshat has been living in self-imposed exile since the late 1970s, as she chose not to return to her home country following the ?79 Islamic Revolution. Through her works Neshat examines Iran before and after the revolution and follows political and civil transformations through strong photographs of women in her country of birth.  My own use of the term exile deals with the analysis of the state of exile in relation to artistic work as a globalized and underlying motivation for art and artists. The new definition of exile is analyzed in relation with the artist?s photographs and the verbal and visual statements.

The aim and purpose of this essay is to study if three museums are using Facebook strategically to promote two-way communication with their target audiences in their external communication. A qual-itative and comparative research method and has been used and communication managers from each of the three museums have been interviewed. These interviews have been transcribed and coded in order to reveal opinions and views on how that particular museum feels about social media and the use of these tools in their external communication. A number of Facebook statuses have also been collect-ed in order to discover how each of the museums is using social media in order to reach and engage their target groups. Should the results of this essay be summarized it would show that the museums are using the communication channel that they feel suits the needs of reaching a specific audience.

The aim of this thesis is to study preschool-teachers? experiences from using the computertablet as a tool for learning and teaching, in order to gain knowledge of how the integrationalprocess of information and communications technology (ICT) in preschool has progressedsince its instatement. The background that caused interest to make this study was the rapidprogression of the use of ICT-tools in childrens? everyday lives and the troubles that havesurrounded the process of integrating these tools into preschool-practices. The theoreticalbasis for the analysis of the research lies within the socio-cultural perspective.

Utvecklingen av teknik och tekniska hjälpmedel har lett till att det finns fler sätt att lära ut på än de traditionella klassrumslektionerna. Studenterna behöver inte vara bundna till en specifik tid eller plats, när lärandet kan göras mobilt. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur studenter vid distanskurser upplever att kommunikationen fungerar samt vilka för- och nackdelar de finner. Åtta intervjupersoner har intervjuats i arbetet och de utförda intervjuerna har transkriberats och tolkats. Det framkom att intervjupersonerna till största del använde e-mail och icke-verbala chattar för att kommunicera med varandra och med lärare.

A study of communication content, frequency and problems was performed at the Swedish Air Force Air Combat Simulation Centre, FLSC. The purpose was to investigate the connection between team communication and performance variables, to study communication problems during air combat and to employ and develop the PILOT method of communication problem analysis. Ten fighter pilots and four fighter controllers engaged in simulated air combat beyond visual range in teams on two sides, Blue and Red, with four pilots and one fighter controller each. Eight such training runs lasting 15 to 25 minutes were analyzed with regard to the Blue team?s communication during launch situations, i.e.

The purpose of this paper is to see how politicians use Internet communication in their daily work and how they use it to interact with citizens of Vasteras city. To reach my conclusions I used both theoretical methods such as literature studies and qualitative interviews with the towns 11 trustees. Accoarding to this study the politicians saw not only a lot of potentials and advantages in Internet communication but also many difficulties and obstacles. In this case the cons far exceeded the pros. One of the main reason is the bad experiences which caused by rasist attacks/threats made to politicians and also the difficulties in handling of sensitiv documents which was seen as a stress factor.

Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what  communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic planning outlined in the formal documents. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur barnen leker med fokus på hur de kommunicerar med varandra och hur samspelet ser ut mellan barnen samt vilka regler de ger uttryck för. Frågeställningarna som formulerades är: ?Hur kommunicerar barn i leken??, ?Hur samspelar barn i leken?? samt ?Vilka regler ger barnen uttryck för i leken??. Metoden för insamling av material att studera var observation av barn i 3-5-årsåldern på två olika förskolor i två kommuner. Resultatet beskriver barnens interaktioner med varandra och hur de använder både verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation för att förmedla budskap.

Syftet med det här arbetet är att undersöka hur den verbala kommunikationen kan se ut i olika språkklassrum och hur lärarna själva reflekterar kring den verbala kommunikationen i sin undervisning. Det vi studerat inom verbal kommunikation är användandet av målspråket, kommunikationsstrategier och innehåll. För att uppnå syftet har vi använt oss av observationer och intervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Studien omfattar fyra grupper och tre lärare på två gymnasieskolor i och utanför Uppsala. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att målspråket inte alltid används i den utsträckning som man kan önska och att kommunikationsstrategier snarare används av lärarna än eleverna.

Studien bygger på kvalitativ forskning där 33 elever medverkat. Eleverna har intervjuats med syftet att ta reda på varför relationell, fysisk och verbal mobbning uppstår. Resultaten från studien har diskuterats och analyserats utifrån tidigare forskning.

According to science internal communication is a complicated, yet very important, issue of organizations today. An organization with a successful internal communication shows better results both economically and in terms of coworker satisfaction. The two main theories on communication are sensemaking and transmission. After a century with a transmissionary point of view, researchers stress the importance of sensemaking internal communication.Main question of this thesis is ?Which of the two main theories is the most useful when anchoring important messages in large organizations??According to the results of this study, conducted by interviews, neither one is more useful than the other.
