The purpose of the study is to investigate the significance of organizing social- cooperative in relation to individual empowerment; and how this empowerment can be used to better the situation of others. Young surfers is a social- cooperativ that is run by cooperators with experience of substance abuse and criminality. The social- cooperativ is built on the premise that the cooperators are to set up and run a screen-printing shop where they will print t-shirts and sweatshirts. The purpose of this business is that the cooperators are given the opportunity to work and that youths with social problems such as substance abuse and criminality are given the opportunity to work-train. My study is comprised of a series of interviews and observations that I have conducted in relation to the cooperators of Young Surfers.

Bakgrund: Vårdrelationen mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten bör vara en central del i den psykiatriska omvårdnaden och kännetecknas av professionellt engagemang från sjuksköterskan. I vården av en psykotisk patient var det viktigt att vårdrelationen var kontinuerlig och väletablerad. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att uppnå en fördjupad förståelse för sjuksköterskor upplevelser av vårdrelationen med patienter med psykos. Metod: En litteraturstudie med innehållsanalys av sju vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes. Artiklarna granskades med kvalitativ ansats och manifest utgångspunkt för att uppnå en helhetsförståelse.

Bakgrund: År 2013 var det 1,5 miljoner av den svenska befolkningen som hade invandrarbakgrund. Vårdkontexten blir allt mer mångkulturell och sjuksköterskan är skyldig att möta patientens kulturella och andliga behov. Syfte: Syftet med den systematiska litteraturstudien var att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelse av att vårda patienter med en annan kulturell bakgrund. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie som utgjordes av åtta empiriska orginalartiklar. Ett induktivt förhållningssätt tillämpades vid analysprocessen.

Det övergripande målet med palliativ vård är att uppnå bästa möjliga livskvalité för patienten och dennes familj. Vårdpersonalen måste vara förberedd både praktiskt och mentalt. Mötet mellan vårdpersonal och patienter beskrivs som en process respektive något som sker spontant. Författarna anknyter föreliggande studie till Benner och Wrubels omvårdnadsteori. Studiens syfte var att belysa det vårdande mötet mellan vårdpersonal och patienter i den palliativa vården.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur ett urval lärare i årskurs tre arbetar med övergångar mellan olika aktiviteter under en lektion i ämnena matematik och svenska. För att undersöka detta har vi genomfört en empirisk studie med hjälp av två kvalitativa metoder, observation och intervju. I varje ämne har fem lärare ingått i studien. Det insamlade materialet har sammanställts och analyserats utifrån våra teoretiska begrepp som flertalet kommer av Jacob S. Kounin (1977).Vårt resultat visade att det inte fanns så tydliga skillnader i arbetet kring övergångar mellan de två ämnena matematik och svenska vilket gjorde att vi istället la vikt på att se hur alla lärare i vår studie arbetar med övergångar i stort.

Despite the fact that men dominate substance abuse research and that most programs to target substance abuse therefore are developed by and for men, very little is known about the fact that substance abusing men can also be parents. Mothers are up until today regarded as the most important parent even though society is changing and fathers are taken a more active part in childrearing. The average father today still spends significantly less time with his children than the average mother does and marginalised drug abusing fathers often disappear from their families altogether. The goal and purpose of this paper has been that through a qualitative analyses of written sources and qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals and social workers recognise how marginalised drug abusing fathers interests of taking part in their children's lives are met by healthcare, treatment and child protection agencies and how we can understand marginalised fathering as an extension of how we view ordinary fathering. I wanted to examine if there are any specific actions taken in involving these men as fathers and how we can understand their situation.

This qualitative study is aimed to explore the leaders? experiences of difficult conversations in their work. We have examined if they take on a different role during the difficult conversations and how communication can affect their leadership during the conversation. We have also examined the importance of the leaders? ability to distance themselves from the sensitive subject and situation, to maintain their role as leaders.

This paper aims to study, from a legal dogmatic method, the Swedish legislation on fixed-term work related to the EU directive 99/70/EC1. In particular, the directives demand to prevent abuse of frequent temporary employment.An employer may, in agreement with the Swedish legislation combine different types of temporary employment, to prolong the time in the temporary employment. In this proceeding an employer can avoid employing an employee in a permanent position. For example, an employee can be employed in a probationary period of six months, in a general temporary employment for a maximum of 24 months, and thereafter in a temporary position for a maximum of 24 months before the employment turns into a permanent position. This provided that the employments were made by the same employer, and within five years.

Syftet med studien var att få ökad kunskap om sjuksköterskors förhållningssätt till samtal om döden med äldre och vilka kommunikationssätt de använder. Studien genomfördes genom intervjuer med fyra legitimerade sjuksköterskor. En intervjustudie och innehållsanalys användes, det resulterade i två huvudteman. Huvudtema ett: förhållningssätt, med subtema god lyssnare, tid och miljön och subtemat sjuksköterskors egen syn på döden. Huvudtema två: kommunikationssätten, med subtemat verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation.

2007, Swedish television, ?Uppdrag granskning,? aired their story about ?Louise? from Vetlanda. A drug dependent father had gotten custody of his daughter and sexually abused her from the age of 10 to 15. The local social services got several notifications about Louise suffering of negligence, and did investigate the family several times without taking any actions to protect her. At one time, father and daughter were living in his trailer placed in a gravel pit, and the police worried about her and called social services, because it was below cero degrees outside.

The study´s purpose is to investigate the underlying norms of how the concepts of language development and learning, used in the preschool curriculum. Knowledge of the concepts underlying norms can help to make visible what approach preschool teacher is expected to have to children's language, in relation to development and learning. The results of the study may in turn provide a picture of societal norms on children in preschool and a deeper understanding of the importance of preschool to review and analyze the content of the curriculum, then it is not a foregone conclusion.Theoretical basis is curriculum theory, which involves studying curricula in order to create a knowledge of a society and its cultural, social and economic demands. Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis is used as a method, in order to achieve the study´s intention and answer the questions at issues in the study. The critical discourse analysis considers that the discourse is creating the social world through language.The results of the study show that there is a language in the curriculum as normatively may influence preschool teacher.

Ett bra bemötande ingår i sjuksköterskors professionalitet, men trots detta får patientnämnder årligen in anmälningar angående problem gällande bemötande, kommunikation och information. Eftersom bemötande till stor del består av kommunikation, krävs det att sjuksköterskor har goda kommunikativa färdigheter för att kunna bemöta patienter på bästa möjliga sätt. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur patienter upplevt sjuksköterskors kommunikativa färdigheter, i bemötandet. Metoden var en litteraturstudie och artikelsökningar genomfördes i databasen Cinahl, där 15 artiklar slutligen valdes ut. I resultatet framkom att patienter upplevde att sjuksköterskors icke-verbala kommunikation var avgörande, då de skapade sig en uppfattning av sjuksköterskor som äkta.

Background: The majority of patients requiring medical attention experience some degree of pain. The nurses´ assessment of pain is crucial in reducing the patients suffering in a proper and timely manner. Previous studies have shown that the treatment of pain in a emergency situation is poorly managed. The patients´ pain experience is often under assessed and undertreated which leads to increased suffering for the patient. This results in higher costs for the health care system due to prolonged hospitalization.

The purpose of this study was to broaden knowledge about how native language support works in three pre-schools departments in a multicultural area. The questions were how native support works in the current pre-schools departments, which language development methods and forms used by educators to work with native language support, and if they experience any difficulties. I used interviews as a research method, with three child-care and one preschool teacher.The results showed that all departments on both of the pre-schools have native language support with a permanent bilingual staff, outside the ordinary activity. The mother tongue is also spoken in the everyday activities in two of the departments. The third department is only spoken native language with their children if they do not understand what they say in Swedish, or if they are sad.The concrete material is lifted up as a good and important tool in all three language groups, because verbal language is not always enough for all children to understand.
