This thesis for the Master of Science degree was performed at Oppunda Electronics AB. The assignment was to further develop an existing prototype of a dispensing equipment. The dispensing equipment doses a kind of glue, bonding which dentist use to mend teeth. The dispensing equipment is adjusted to dose 12 micro litres of bonding. With the dispensing equipment SafeBond Electronic the user can reduce the bonding consumption with approximately 50 percent.

Bakgrund: Vid hjärtkirurgi kyls patienten via ECC (extracorporeal circulation) till 32-34 °C för att minska metabolismen och syrekonsumtionen i vävnaderna. Efter att operationen är klar är det viktigt patienten blir normoterm då hypotermi medför många negativa effekter.Syfte: Att undersöka om värmemadrassen Inditherm Alpha® hjälper patienten att hålla en normal kroppstemperatur efter ECC-avslut samt om andra faktorer, dels demografiska, dels procedurrelaterade, kan påverka utfallet av uppmätt kroppstemperatur.Metod: Femtiofem patienter som genomgick elektiv CABG och/eller klaffoperation med ECC-inducerad hypotermi inkluderades konsekutivt. Undersökningsgruppen (n=29) genomgick kirurgi med värmemadrassen Inditherm Alpha® medan jämförelsegruppen (n=26) genomgick kirurgi utan värmemadrass. Grupperna var jämnt fördelade i alla avseenden förutom kön.Resultat: Flertalet patienter sjönk i kroppstemperatur efter ECC-avslut (p < 0,0001) men majoriteten av patienterna var normoterma vid ankomst till intensivvårdsavdelningen. Undersökningsgruppen hade inte högre kroppstemperatur vid något mättillfälle jämfört med jämförelsegruppen.

Denna rapport handlar om införandet av ett gasspjäll i den HCCI motor som utvecklas påKungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) i Stockholm. Detta gasspjäll styr effekten ocharbetssättet i motorn. Med en gasspjäll är det möjligt att byta från gnistantändning tillHCCI-läge. Under projektet har många andra områden förbättrats, till exempel luft- ocholjepump. För att dra slutsatser är det nödvändigt att analysera några av motorns data sominsamlats under utvecklingen, såsom cylindertryck, insprutningsdata och tändläge.

Abstract A phenomenon that has been noticed more and more in media and the public space in recent years is what is called guerrilla gardening. It means the illicit cultivation of someone else?s land. This report's intention is to analyze what impact guerrilla gardening could have on today's urban space in terms of stable changes in norms and physical design. I have also focused on guerrilla gardener?s choice to carry out these actions illegally, without asking for permission, and what impact that could have on the issue of appropriating public space.

Modern forestry requires a high degree of machine traffic for clear felling and scarification operations. The machines most frequently used are big and the traffic often results in tracks on the forest ground. There are many small streams running through a forest, in connection to logging operations, machines might cross these frequently. These crossings could result in the erosion of fine particulate inorganic matter, which ends up in the stream. The aim of this thesis was to give a general description of small forest streams of order-one in the county of Värmland and to determine the frequency of machine tracks in small streams.

In order to reduce the price for, and improve the performance of automatic control systems for magnetization of synchronus generators, the possibilities of using a PC based software PLC system, Programmable Logic Controller, has been investigated. The result is a system based on the CoDeSys software PLC with runtime environment from 3S-Software, communicating with external units via Modbus fieldbus. System price is reduced from ?5000 to ?2000 and system processing speed is reduced from 10 ms for a Siemens S7 PLC to 4 ms with the CoDeSys PLC system though unsolved problems with runtime seizure caused by improper settings in the PC BIOS..

The aim of this paper was to discover the functions and workings of personal networks and their advantages for self-employed sound designers and producers whose focus was upon the moving image (film, advertising, tv, etc). Investigations on how entrepreneurs develop their networks were made, as well as inquiries on how these networks are used for generating work. Another important aspect perused was whether or not the networks are dependent on specific geographical locations in order to function. A case study and comparative analysis was undertaken, based upon three qualitative interviews with entrepreneurs whose operations shared several similar characteristics. The results pointed out the importance of constantly making new contacts, and maintaining and managing current ones.

Bakgrunden till detta examens arbete är behovet av att få lägre emissioner och dåspeciellt NOx emissioner. I detta arbete är olika NOx reduktions metoder beskrivna ochutvärderade. Tyngdpunkten har lagts på de ?våta NOx reduktions teknologierna? och dåspeciellt teknologier för att befukta insugsluften. Detta arbete består av en litteraturstudie, genomgång av test resultat från motor tester med dessa teknologier samtsimuleringar.NOx reduktionen genom at introducera vatten eller vatten ånga till förbränningenåstadkoms genom att sänka den maximala temperaturen i förbränningsrummet ochgenom att tillsätta inert media med hög värmekapacitet vilket också reducerarsyrekoncentrationen.

Den globala bilindustrin har under de senaste decennierna genomgått betydande förändringar, vilketskapat ett allt hårdare marknadsklimat. Försäljningen av Volvo Car Corporation och SaabAutomobile till Ford Motor Company samt General Motors under 1990-talet ansågs därför som ennödvändig åtgärd för att säkerställa Saabs och Volvos fortlevnad. Perioden under amerikansk ägandehar emellertid visat sig tuff och knappt ett decennium senare stod bilindustrin för sin kanske störstautmaning någonsin i sviterna av en extrem global lågkonjunktur. General Motor och Ford MotorCompany drabbades hårt, vilket ledde till att det inte längre ansågs ekonomiskt hållbart att behållaförlusttyngda bilmärken som Saab och Volvo.

As we travel more and more by train it becomes increasingly important that the time we spend traveling, is of great quality. This has been the foundation of this master thesis and has shaped the outcome of it. The traveling experience, that is, the experience of the landscape that flashes by outside the train window, is an important aspect in railway planning and an aspect that should be taken into greater consideration. The purpose of this master thesis has been to examine how to compose or improve the travel experience for an already planned high speed railway and how the travel experience can be combined with other aspects, which have claims on the landscape. This thesis is based on a literature study and a case study of Ostlänken. The work describes Ostlänken, a planned high speed railway in Sweden between Järna and Linköping, with top speeds at 300-320 kilometers per hour.

The gamma knife contains a cluster of a dozen motor servos and motors used for adjusting the patient and the radiation sources over a CAN bus. A self-developed hardware-in-loop simulator running on a PC with LabVIEW is currently being used for integration level testing of the control system of the gamma knife. The simulator has some problems with it not running in real-time and having other performance issues.

Background: According to us, obtaining reimbursement of expenses in connection with a representation is a ?forgotten? process, and we therefore find it interesting to look further into. In some cases we have not claimed for compensation since we consider the process as too complicated or that we lost the original receipt. Ernst & Young (2009) say in their research that within the financial management area, Swedish operations loses billions of Swedish crowns due to bad routines. Okada and Hoch (2004) mention that if time were not considered as a resource, time would not be a hinder.

This final thesis is performed on commission of Torsby forestry administration, Stora Enso Skog. Stora Enso Skog is one of the major forestry companies of Sweden. The main business area is located in and around the region of Bergslagen. During the last decade the practice of forest management has rapidly changed due to a new forest legislation. The new law has resulted in that the production goal is equal to the environmental goal within forestry.
