Thesis purpose: The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the expectations of roles between supplier sales representatives and retailer store personnel in relation to in-store campaigns, this in order to enhance effectiveness of these functions creating an increase in consumer response. Methodology: The researchers believe that social phenomenon and their meanings are continually being accomplished by social actors, hence a study of individuals? expectations must have a point of departure in these people?s social reality. Store personnel and supplier sales representatives are to a certain degree affected by the structural power relationships within the organizational network, thus the researchers combine an interpretative and radical structuralist paradigm. Theoretical perspective: The researchers investigate expectations of roles through examining interaction between parties involved.

The idea for the project emerged when Nilorn wanted to get better control over their supplychain and improve operational efficiency. The company also want to reduce their expenses inthe continuous process of improving profitability. By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Thisenables Nilorn to reduce the transportation costs and strengthen the environmentalresponsibilities by reducing their environmental impact.The flow of goods within Nilorn has over the past years increased significantly and most ofthe gods today is transported by air. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the supply chain of thecompany and evaluate the potential economic savings in this area.

 By changing focus from the active blogger to the ex-blogger this study focuses on a part of the blogosphere that is generally overlooked, why bloggers stop blogging. 30 terminated blogs where studied and the ex-bloggers where contacted. Six main reasons why a blog is terminated was found: Changed life situation, The blog effecting private life, The blog effecting the professional life, Done with testing to blog, Blogging about an event, Done with the blog ? the logical termination. Outside the main focus of the study  it was also evident that most bloggers terminate a blog to put focus of one of their other blogs or start a new one.

Denna rapport syftar till att, på Å&R Carton i Norrköping, analysera de interna flödena och processerna samt ge förslag på hur ledtider ska kunna reduceras väsentligt. Ett sätt att uppfylla syftet är att dela in verksamheten i processer genom olika metoder och kriterier förprocessbestämning. Valda metoder i rapporten är; kvalitativ ansats med hög validitet och reliabilitet, processbaserad verksamhetsanalys och procedurbeskrivning. Genom omfattande litteraturstudier, insamlande av data i form av intervjuer, benchmarking, platsundersökningar och interna dokument har nulägesmodeller arbetats fram. Analysen av dessa visar bland annat på att såväl planeringsprocessen som inköpsprocessen idag inte fungerar värdeadderande och bör ses över.

Almost every commercial in television nowadays aim to sell a product or service. This researchpresents two big actors in the grocery chain and their respective commercials. The two actors thatare presented in this research are Lidl and Coop. Both Lidl and Coop are among the largest grocerychains in Sweden. By examine two commercials from each company we aim to find how theircommercials are structured.

Den största delen av forskningen inom projekthantering är koncentrerad till stora företag och projekt, däremot finns det mindre forskning utförd på små företag. I denna uppsats har vi studerat projekthanteringen i North Kingdom; en liten kreativ digital byrå med 17 anställda. Genom intervjuer med projektledaren har vi studerat hur deras projekt ?Get the Glass?, ett webbaserat spel, genomförts med fokus på dess tidsplanering och budgethantering utifrån följande problemställning:Hur inverkar ett litet svenskt kreativt företags tidsplanering och budgethantering på ett kort, komplicerat och kreativt projekt?Studiens huvudsyfte är att skapa förståelse för hur ett litet svenskt kreativt företag arbetar i ett kort komplicerat projektarbete med fokus på projektets tidsplanering och budgethantering. Som delsyfte ser studien över North Kingdoms arbete med budgethantering och tidsplanering med avsikten att undersöka på vilka sätt dessa delar av projektarbetet kan göras enklare och effektivare.Uppsatsen har genomförts med en hermeneutisk syn på kunskap och med en abduktiv vetenskapsteoretisk metod där förståelse för teori och empiri vuxit fram tillsammans.

The aim of this report is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the problems within the production at AQ Enclosure systems, and thereby achieve a more stable flow throughout the whole process, a better working environment and better competition advantages. The internal flow along with the external cooperation is very important for the company, because it views flexibility and short leadtime as it is the most important competitive means. The part of AQ production that?s been investigated is the manufacturing of ATM-machines, where the costumer is Banqit. This company is a rater small company with about 4 % of the world market of ATM-machines.In order to achieve the aim of the report extensive interviews have been carried out with employees at AQ.

The idea with constructions made out of prefabricated elements is that it should be quick and easy to build as the demands for lower production costs, increased profitability and shorter production times are constantly increasing. High accuracy in measurements and well-balanced tolerances is required to achieve this. The fact that the concrete-elements doesn?t fit and that damage occurs during assembly is a highly topical issue even though we now have methods and systems that make this high-intensity construction possible. Through this report we want to highlight the problems that cause the dimensional and tolerance problems and give suggestions on how to come to terms with these.

Klädbranschen har fått stor uppmärksamhet gällande hållbarhet och miljökostnader. Tidigare forskning har främst täckt frågor kring hållbara material och transporter samt arbetsförhållanden för dem som producerar kläderna, medan andra aktiviteter som ingår i ett klädföretagets värdekedja inte har fått så stor uppmärksamhet, trots att de också har en stor påverkan på miljö och kostnader.Innevarande uppsats handlar om klädföretag och hur deras rutiner gällande upphängning av kläder på galgar fungerar. Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka var i värdekedjan kläderna galgas och hur returhanteringen av galgarna sker samt hållbarhetsperspektivet kring detta.Teorin har tagits fram från olika vetenskapliga artiklar, böcker samt hemsidor, och informationen som redan finns i ämnet och som är relevant för undersökningen presenteras. Teorin tar upp termen Supply Chain Management (SCM) och hur det ser ut i klädbranschen. En överblick av aktiviteter som ingår i ett klädföretags värdekedja ges, där "pre-retail"-aktiviteter och returflöden får stor uppmärksamhet.

The purpose of this thesisis to examine the female body ideal of the Swedish fitness blogs and how it is reproduced. To answer the research question five of the most read female fitness blogs were chosen for a critical discourse analysis. The results show that pictures is an important communication event. The ideal is reproduced by representing bodies with desirable attributes in environments and poses that communicates positive feelings. There is a dialectic relation between picture and text in each published post.

Today's global market means that raw materials are sought and bought from all over the world. This creates an higher demand for a well-functioning supply chain. In our thesis we have studied a large paper mill in northen Sweden which experiences issues with flow of raw material. Our aim has hence been to examine which aspects affect the flow of raw materials to the mill, and how these can be adressed using an IT-system. The question we sought to answer was; What factors are important to consider and how do these affect the ability of an IT-system which will support the flow of raw material at the paper mill? We have found that the problems are strongly connected to the low amount of information sharing between the mill and the suppliers.

The Volvo Trucks plant in Umeå is a highy complex manufacturing facility where the same production line handles a variety of different models. This require flexible and agile processes with high quality standards. This thesis studies the flow of material through a production line and how Volvo can use their existing manufacturing monitoring system to optimize the flow of materials.The goal with the thesis is to identify eventual problems with the flow of materials and to deliver a few proposals on how the production line can improve its productivity. The theory of LEAN, Just-In-Time and Supply Chain Management serves as the scientific reference to this project. By analyzing the flow of material, performing interviews and observing the processes a few problems are identified.

Möjligheten att bedriva en konkurrenskraftig försörjningskedja förutsätts av effektiva processer och arbetsrutiner inom respektive företag och det finns därmed stora fördelar i att se över hur processer och flöden inom företaget leds och fungerar.

Planeringen av leveranser och lastning är processer hos Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner som i dagsläget är förenad med en del problem som leder till ineffektivitet samt fel vid lastning av produkter.

The telecom and the IT-industry are converging, which creates new possibilities and threats for both existing mobile handset vendors and new entrants originating from the IT-industry. The purpose of this thesis is to explain how IT-players? entrance in the mobile handset industry affects the industry in regards of key success factors and Value chain structure. This study has used dynamic theories to describe the mobile handset industry. The theories have helped us in understanding the characteristics and drivers of the industry and thereafter to identify the key success factors.
