Detta examensarbete har genomförts pÄ företaget Navigate Consulting Business Solutions AB, ett konsultbolag som erbjuder tjÀnster inom affÀrssystem, sÄsom val av affÀrssystemslösning, implementering och förvaltning.Företaget vill utöka sitt framtida affÀrssystem, Oracle E-Business Suite R12, genom att lÀgga till tidrapporteringsmodulen Oracle Time and Labor. För att ta reda pÄ om tidsrapporteringsmodulen möter verksamhetens krav och förvÀntningar Àr det nödvÀndigt att företaget fÄr en uppfattning hur systemet möjligtvis kan lÀmpa sig, innan de bestÀmmer sig för att implementera.Med detta som bakgrund och utgÄngspunkt syftar detta examensarbete till att visualisera den tidrapporteringsprocess och de krav som Navigate har för Oracle E-Business Suite R12, genom anvÀndning av prototyp.En inkrementell och iterativ arbetsmetod har tillÀmpats vid utveckling av denna prototyp. Resultatet av detta examensarbete Àr en interaktiv prototyp över företagets tidrapporteringsprocess. Stora delar av deras krav har visualiserats, och det har totalt producerats femton skÀrmbilder för att utveckla prototypen. Dessa har kopplats samman och tillförts med interaktivitet genom prototypverktyget Justinmind Prototyper.Trots att det har inneburit en tidskrÀvande process för utveckling av prototypen har man funnit potentiella fördelar.

The thesis aims to describe the current sales climate in the context of complex sales in business-to-business. The purpose is to increase the clients knowledge of sales and test the clients hypothesis that the sales climate is changing from Solution Selling to Insight Selling, further the thesis aims to contribute to the scientific debate of sales. Solution Selling is characterized, as the name suggest, by selling of solution to the customers needs. With Insight Selling the seller has a provocative approach towards the customer and the seller is searching for customers in the need of change. This is a qualitative study conducted with eight interviews and one focus group.

The acquisition, organization and storage of information in combination with a strategic use, is today an important factor for a successful organisation in any sector of our society.In this Master thesis I have studied how an organisation such as The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt NĂ€ringsliv) handles its information resources. I have also looked at the flow of information within the organization. The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is Sweden?s largest business federation representing 50 member organizations and 55 000 member companies.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a competitive concept for enterprises to consider. The concept is based on the idea of using business data in order to effectively analyze activities within an enterprise in order to enhance decision processes in the organization.The purpose with this study is to help Akademibokhandeln AB to analyze what BI-requirements they may have, and to create a recommendation on what sort of BI-tool that would fit the enterprise's needs.The requirements analysis was conducted with the help of internal personnel. Four different tools on the BI-market have been examined, analyzed and compared: IBM Cognos 8 (IBM Cognos), Microstrategy 9 (MCST), Qlikview 9 (Qlikview), and SAP Business Objects BI (SAP BO). These tools have been compared with the help of two models (BRI and BCI) that is based on the BI-requirements analysis, with the cost aspect taken into consideration in the BCI-model.Using the BRI-model, the comparison results in a technical evaluation. Here, IBM Cognos gets the highest result just ahead of MCST and SAP BO.

Title: Artists? identity and image ? a brand perspective The purpose of this study has been to create an understanding of how artists in the music business can be seen as brands and to see what stands out when having this approach. During the study we have focused on the two terms identity and image. We find this issue interesting and relevant since branding has been widely discussed in business economy, but not enough when it comes to artists in the music business. To answer our research question we have targeted three aims for this essay, which is to clarify and analyze:? Identity and image when people are viewed as brands? What specifically characterizes the image of the artists when they are seen as brands and what it might mean that artists are considered as brands? How artists identity and image can be highlighted, shaped, influenced and how it can changeIn this study we have used a qualitative approach to get the topic in depth and gain a greater understanding for the subject.

ProblemstÀllning: Enligt D'Aveni befinner sig 80 % av branscherna inom USA:s tillverkningsindustri i hyperkonkurrens. Vi ser ingen tendens att hyperkonkurrensens drivkrafter skulle ha mattas av sedan D'Aveni myntade begreppet hyperkonkurrens 1994. Detta till trots finner vi lite forskning inom omrÄdet i Sverige. DÀrför vill vi ta reda pÄ om hyperkonkurrensen kan ses i Sverige och hur företagen som Àr utsatta för den agerar ur ett strategiskt perspektiv. Syfte: Vi vill undersöka hur företag som befinner sig i hyperkonkurrens agerar ur ett strategiskt perspektiv, och söka förklaringar till deras agerande. Metod: Vi har studerat tre olika teorier för konkurrens, monopolistisk-, resursbaserad- och hyperkonkurrens och olika syn pÄ strategier som anvÀnds inom nÀmnda konkurrenssituationer. Den empiriska undersökningen har bestÄtt av tre intervjuer med personal pÄ Wilden, Cascades Djupafors och Tarkett.

A Social Enterprise is a business that features a mixture of characteristics that originates from the third and private sector. A general conception of Social Enterprises is that they aim to improve social welfare by the use of sustainable business models. The mixture of social and business features has created ambiguity about how to define Social Enterprises. The purpose of this study is to clarify Swedish Social Enterprises as a phenomenon and to examine antagonism that arises from mixing the two different sets of organisational characteristics. This is achieved by conducting a qualitative study of ten Swedish companies that the market considers to be Social Enterprises.

Background: The strategic importance of purchasing departments is increasing, yet supply risks are rather uncharted. The procurement of coffee involves supply risks and the purchaser needs to be able to handle these to enable the roasting-house to produce coffee as specified. Purpose: To chart risks in connection with the procurement of coffee as well as the possibilities of handling these. The thesis also examines if general risk management theories are applicable on the supply risk present within Swedish roasting-houses and can become an integral partof the purchasing process. Method: A qualitative case study of the purchasing process of Swedish roasting- houses.

Farmers preferred end-values related to their use of forward contract : a means-end chain analysis

Today?s farmers are constantly affected by the fluctuating world market prices on grain and thereby the price risk that comes with the price fluctuations. The volatile prices of grain increase the price risk within the business, which in turn affects the profitability of the business. The fluctuating prices together with the increased price risk within the farm business have opened up the market for hedging instruments. In this master thesis project, the aim is to identify the underlying end-values of 30 Swedish farmers? related to their choice of using hedging and the product; forward contract.
