We have chosen to write our thesis within a transport company. The work was carried out at DHL activities in Uppsala. DHL is one of the leading transport companies worldwide. Our interest lies in more efficient and advanced transportation and terminals, as globalization and new trends require effective solutions.The aim of our work is to explain the need for information technology applications in road haulage and associated terminal operations. Furthermore, we analyses terminal and applied information technology.

Syftet med studien var att analysera omsorgspraxis pÄ tre sÀrskilda Àldreboenden för en integrerad grupp brukare utifrÄn ett kommunikationsperspektiv. Kommunikationen analyserades ur följande tre aspekter: mellan personal och brukare med en demenssjukdom, mellan personal och brukare utan demenssjukdom och mellan brukare utan demenssjukdom och brukare som led av demens. Studien utgick ifrÄn personalens perspektiv och beskrev hur de upplevde kommunikationen mellan dessa grupper pÄ Àldreboendena.Materialet omfattade fyra undersköterskor, ett vÄrdbitrÀde och en arbetsterapeut som var en kunskapsresurs och samordningsansvarig inom demensfrÄgor för alla Àldreboenden. Metoden som anvÀndes var personliga intervjuer med personalen och arbetsterapeuten. Resultatet visade att kommunikation mellan personal och demenssjuka krÀvde ett speciellt bemötande som var tidskrÀvande.

Det nya arbetssĂ€ttet - Scrum - vill de ha utvĂ€rderad för att kunna veta om det har gett önskad effekt och om det skulle gĂ„ att förbĂ€ttra processen.Syftet med denna studien var att ta reda pĂ„ hur medarbetarna har upplevt implementeringen av ett nytt arbetssĂ€tt, scrum, och hur detta har pĂ„verkat deras förutsĂ€ttningar att lĂ€ra.Jag har anvĂ€nt ett miljöpedagogiskt perspektiv och i huvudsak kvalitativ metod. Vissa inslag av kvantitativ empiri finns ocksĂ„ för att komplettera.Resultatet av studien visade sig vara tudelat. Dels upplever medarbetarna att implementeringen av scrum har gĂ„tt bra och att det fungerar tillfredstĂ€llande. Å andra sidan visar det sig att man inte alltid lever som man lĂ€r och att inte hela scrumprocessen anvĂ€nds i sin helhet eller som det Ă€r tĂ€nkt.

ABSTRACTBackground: People with colorectal cancer undergoing rectum amputation get a permanent colostomy, which affects the social life. It may be valuable for health care what these people experience living with colostomy in order to provide the greatest possible support. Objective: The aim of this study is to describe how people who received a colostomy experience their daily lives and the support they have received from the health services.Method: Qualitative interview study with six people, with a descriptive phenomenological approach.Results: The analysis of the interviews about how it's like to live with a colostomy resulted in three themes: 1) Living with a colostomy gives an uncertainty that affect the social life, 2) Physical and psychological impact of getting a colostomy and 3) Support for health care and relatives.Conclusion: Subjects had a positive attitude towards life, which contributed to that they could adjust to living with a colostomy and feel a meaningfulness of life. The study shows that all the interviewed people overall were satisfied with the information provided by the healthcare personnel. It was good with both oral and written information and very appreciated with repeated information. One aspect that could be improved was the information given aboute the closure of anus during surgery and the following complications.

The purposeof this study was to investigate whether preschool staff who participated in a previous health project retains the good behavior change, and to explore their perceived barriers and opportunities for this. The study was conducted on a "feel good" preschool and the selected population was preschool teachers and/or child minders. The selected method was qualitative, descriptive, and through the interviews the respondents got questions about their behavior changes and their experiences of this. The result of the survey showed that nearly all of the participants in the study had maintained the good behavior changes and most of them had implemented them in their lives. The obstacles that individuals perceived were mainly time constraints and the opportunities they saw were planning, motivation and positive experience.

The aim of this study was to gain a better understanding of resource schools 1 as a human services organization and institution, based on teachers and principals? perspectives. The purpose of resource schools is to provide the students tools and resources to enable them to return to the regular school within two years. The study also aims to examine more closely how this objective applies to the studied resource schools in the studied municipality, as well as highlighting the success factors and barriers that exist to achieve the goal. Previous studies show that this kind of differential practice tends to become a permanent solution.

Syftet har varit att studera chefers uppfattningar om en omorganisation i ett företag i transportbranschen. Den frÄga jag stÀllt mig Àr vilken betydelse gemensamma mÄl och visioner, delaktighet och tid för utvecklingsarbete, ett stödjande förÀndringsledarskap samt en kultur som frÀmjar lÀrande har haft i en omorganisation som genomförts i Företaget X. Den metod som anvÀnts har varit kvalitativa intervjuer som tagit utgÄngspunkt i hermeneutiken dÀr framför allt innebörder och intentioner studerats. Respondenterna har bestÄtt av Ätta chefer vid Företaget X. Det framkommer att omorganisationen inte lyckats till fullo utifrÄn de mÄl som sattes upp.

Kompetensutveckling under arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning inom sluten somatisk vÄrd för omvÄrdnadsstuderande pÄ vuxenutbildning.Sammanfattning: Arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning (APU) har en central plats pÄ omvÄrdnadsutbildning för vuxenstuderande. Det Àr dÀrför av vikt att APU:n gynnar de studerandes möjligheter till kompetensutveckling. VÄrt syfte Àr att undersöka hur vuxenstuderande inom omvÄrdnadsutbildning upplever förutsÀttningar för sin kompetensutveckling under APU inom sluten somatisk vÄrd. För att kunna besvara syftet har en abduktiv kvalitativ metod utifrÄn det sociokulturella perspektivet anvÀnts och semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts. Det empiriska materialet bygger pÄ intervjuer före och efter APU:n med Ätta omvÄrdnadsstuderande.

Detta projekt gick ut pÄ att utföra ett möjligt underhÄllsschema för ScandBook i Falun. Innan dess hade akuta reparationer skett dÄ en del lager gÄtt sönder utan föraning pÄ transportlinan. Genom undersökningar som vÀrmekamera, mÀtklocka, okulÀrbesiktning m.m. kunde ett beslut fattas om huruvida detta gick att genomföra. Det behövde inte innebÀra reparationer utan Àven utbyte av lager, bultar, upphÀgningar m.m..

The aim of this essay is to examine the background to the ongoing conflict between Spain and Basque. The conflicting parts and the opportunities of an agreement regarding a permanent cease-fire will also be examined. I chose to write about this conflict due to the fact that it has been going on for a long time, and is still going on.In order to be able to conduct the survey of this essay I have studied a wide range of books, reports from different institutions, and articles. I have strived for objectivity and to retail a fair description of the situation.To get a better understanding of the conflict the essay starts with history of conflict which has its beginning in the fifteenth century. Further on the essay is going to examine the conflicting parts that exist nowadays, and also the acting of different Basque political groups and the acting of the Spanish government.

Taiwan rÀknas idag inte som en stat, har ingen plats i FN, och territoriet efterfrÄgas av Kina. Hur ser möjligheterna ut för en lösning av problematiken mellan Kina och Taiwan? Through its microcredit programmes, the organization Grameen Bank offers ?aid to self-help? to poor women on the countryside in Bangladesh. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how participation in Grameen?s microcredit programmes can affect these women?s social situation and working situation.
