Lean Thinking ? Ett sätt för serviceorganisationer att öka sitt värdeskapande?

Syftet är att genom ett Service Management-perspektiv studera huruvida implementeringar av Lean Thinking i serviceorganisationer skapar möjligheter för ökat värdeskapande för såväl kund som organisation. Huvudfrågeställningen ser ut som följande: Hur påverkas värdeskapandet i serviceorganisationer vid en implementering av Lean Thinking? Vi har betraktat två skilda serviceorganisationer som implementerat Lean Thinking - Fritidsresor och Universitetssjukhuset i Lund - genom en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Semi-strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med intervjupersoner från respektive studieobjekt. Genom en litteratusstudie av Service Management- och Lean Thinking-teorier har såväl likheter som skillnader i perspektivens syn på värde och värdeskapande illustrerats.

N?r struktur m?ter service: En kvantitativ studie om upplevd effektivitet inom kundservice

This quantitative study explores how employee perceived efficiency within customer service is affected by standardized routines, digital tools, and motivational factors. The study is based on survey data collected from 42 employees across five customer service departments in a larger organization. The theoretical foundation integrates Weber?s bureaucracy theory, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and the Job Characteristics Model (JCM), allowing for a multidimensional analysis to capture the employees' experiences of efficiency. Findings reveal a statistically significant positive relationship between perceived efficiency and both standardized routines and perceived digital tool usefulness and ease of use. Furthermore, the study identifies that skill variety and task significance are positively correlated with experienced meaningfulness, which indicates a potential mediating relationship between these motivational aspects and perceived efficiency.

Ungdomstjänst : En kvalitativ studie av en kommuns utformning av ungdomstjänst

This study, which was conducted in Sweden, was based on four qualitative semi-structured interviews. The aim of this study was to create an understanding of how a municipality designs the sanction for youth offenders called ?youth service? based on the law that establishes the existence of such a sentence. We interviewed social workers that work at the department of youth service in the municipality of Gothenburg, who exclusively deal with youth offenders? sentenced to youth service as their job assignment.

Utveckling av väska med verktyg för service av gasfjäder : Ett examensarbete hos Strömsholmen

Strömsholmen är en världsledande tillverkare av gasfjädrar och gashydrauliska system. De tillverkar gasfjädrar under tre olika varumärken; Kaller, Hyson och Fibro. Strömsholmen erbjuder kunder att köpa serviceutrustning så att gasfjädrarna kan repareras eller underhållas. En del av serviceutrustningen är en serviceväska med serviceverktyg. I detta examensarbete har serviceväskan och verktygen i väskan utvecklats vidare och designats om för att vara mer användarvänliga, bättre representera varumärkena samt reducera kostnaden.

AbstractObjective: To investigate the occurrence of and the risk factors for falls and to  investigate level of fall-related self-efficacy and health-related quality of life in people living in community living, 75 years or older within Uppsala and Västmanlands county. A further aim was to identify predictive risk factors for falls. Design: A cross-section study with a descriptive, comparative and correlative design based on a questionnaire was used. Participants: The participants were recruited from Uppsala and Västmanlands county. A random selection on 525 individuals was done, from a population based sample, in the detailed municipalities.

Lean IT Assessment Tool : Ett verktyg för att utvärdera en IT avdelnings möjligheter till effektivisering genom att implementera lean pä IT service management

Detta examensarbete har syftat till att utveckla ett verktyg för att utvärdera en IT-avdelnings möjligheter till effektivisering genom att implementera Lean på IT Service Management. Verktyget har utvecklats i samarbete med Tina Eriksson på uppdrag av management och IT-management konsultbolaget Connecta AB. Connecta AB har som syfte att använda verktyget för framtida affärer. För att verktyget ska vara användbart och uppfylla Connectas krav så har fyra mål satts upp. Verktyget ska vara trovärdigt, resurseffektivt, användarvänligt samt underlätta för fortsatt arbete och implementering av Lean på IT Service Management.

Mångspråk på bibliotek : En studie av fem folkbibliotek i Norrbotten

The purpose of this study is to investigate how public libraries in Norrbotten provide multilingual media and how the commitment is legitimized. In January 2014 there was a change to the guidelines for the International Library?s service for providing multilingual media. The responsibility for the provision of this service was also changed. The result shows there has been different ways of implementing the guidelines in practice; this has led to inequalities in the local library service.We have assembled data through qualitative interviews with five different public libraries in the north of Sweden.

Vad är kommersiellt och vad är public service? : Innehåll, form och funktion i radions morgonprogram

Uppsatsen undersöker radiomediets form (utformning, uppbyggnad och dess olika delar) och funktion (för programmens helhet och för lyssnarna) i dagens Sverige.Syftet var att analysera vilka likheter och skillnader som finns mellan public service radion och den kommersiella radion. Det är framförallt public service radions identitet som relateras i förhållande till den kommersiella radion. I uppsatsen används både kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys med fokus på medietextens tempo, positionering och intention. Det empiriska materialet består av två av radions mest populära morgonprogram; RIX MorronZoo och Morgonpasset i Sveriges Radio P3, inspelade morgonen den 15/4 samt morgonen den 16/4 -2004. Referenserna består av tidigare forskning om radiomediet, aktuella rapporter, hemsidor, tidningsartiklar och offentliga dokument om styrregler för radion i Sverige.

Livskvalitet 2-7 år efter allogen stamcellstransplantation

This is an empirical cross-sectional study with the aim to examine the patient?s comprehension about their quality of life within two to seven years after their stem-cell transplantation with reference to physical, social, emotional, psychological and functional wellbeing and to investigate if the patient groups have disease specific problems. Differences in quality of life between men and women and also between allogeneic and stem cell transplantation with an unrelated donor (URD) were studied. The measurement Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy (FACT) and the bone marrow transplant subscale (BMT) is a 49 item, valid and reliable measure that was used. The questionnaire was answered by 43 of 47 patients (91%).There is a significant difference between men and women in physical, social and functional wellbeing.

This study focuses on single peoples construction of their lifes in relation to normative heterosexual coupledom. It is based on five interviews made with single women and men at the age of 24 to 51 who live by themselves. The queer theory which puts the heteronormativity in question is used as a theoretical framework. Discourse psychology functions as an analytic approach. It focuses on the use of language in the construction of reality in a world of determinant discourses.

This thesis researches the value creation process in Internet based subscription services in accordance with service dominant logic. The aim of the paper is to identify the characteristics of these services and to envisage the future of Internet based subscription services. The authors have utilized a qualitative method in their research which consists of personal interviews as well as a focus group. The main theoretical subjects that are discussed are value creation, customer participation and service dominant logic. The paper analyses the empirical findings by matching them with the theoretical framework.

Stödsamtal hos skolkuratorn i gymnasieskolan : En studie ur elevperspektiv

This qualitative study is about the individual supportive conversation with the school welfare officer in upper secondary school. The main aim of the study was to find out what the pupils get out of a series of conversations with the school welfare officer and what it means for the pupils that the welfare officer belongs to the school organization. Six qualitative interviews were held with pupils who had conversation contact with the school welfare officer during their time at upper secondary school.I found that these pupils and welfare officers were oriented towards change and solutions. I found that the most important thing for the pupils was to achieve a good and trusting relationship with the welfare officer. After this the pupil starts a process of change in cooperation with the welfare officer, with the aim that the pupil should be happy and satisfied with the current life situation.

Vad tror blivande religionslärare? En livsberättelsestudie om sex lärarstudenters syn på religion

With this thesis I have examined the views of religion among six comparative religion teacherstudents, with the perspecitve of their life stories. I have also examined what stance they want to take due to their personal beliefs in their forthcoming teaching. To achive this I have used in-depth interviews among the six soon examined teacher students, and within the interviews I have had a particularly focus on turning points of the students? life stories. Later on I have used their turning points in an analysis with the hypothesis of ?Rites des Passage? and ?Structure and Anti-Structure?.In my survey I have found a significant relationship between the students? life stories - inparticularly their backgrounds and tourning points - and their views of religion.

?We adapt the feeling of the moment?Vårt syfte är att analysera hur ett affärshotell arbetar och förmedlar upplevelser utifrån den service och det tjänsteerbjudande de levererar. Vi vill studera hur ett affärshotell kan tillmötesgå sina gäster med upplevelser. Våra frågeställningar är:? Hur definieras upplevelseutbudet utifrån ett affärshotells tjänsteerbjudande?? På vilket sätt förmedlar och verkställer ett affärshotell service och upplevelser? För att få djup i undersökning och material besökte vi hotellet under fyra dagar för observationer och kvalitativa undersökningar vilka vi sedan analyserat utifrån förutbestämd litteratur.
