This report has explored how to design and develop an ordering system for television and DOOH commercials. Usability theories have been considered and also guidlines for system devoloping, this includes the making of a PACT analysis and a demand specifcation. The purpose of this study is to create a method that can be used to produce decisionsupport data for the climate goals of a municipality. The method should be able to demonstrate the potential for reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions for measures aimed at the stationary energy system in the municipality. It will be used to make longterm projections of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in order to be able to demonstrate the ability to reach climate goals. The aim was also to test the method's applicability by using the municipality of Uppsala and the Uppsala climate protocol project in a case study. Uppsala climate protocol is a project consisting of participants from business, government and organizations that voluntarily want to commit to reducing their carbon footprint by reducing their energy use and thus work to achieve the municipality's overall climate goal. Public reporting of energy use and climate impact has been studied in order to examine the nature of indicators and accounting figures that are commonly used in the field and how long-term forecasts are formulated. In connection to this, the type and sources for the kind of data needed was also examined.

Wastewater treatment is increasingly controlled by the Swedish environmental quality objectives, adopted by the Swedish parliament. There is a need for a sewage system that can fulfill stringent requirements concerning the environment, recycling and resource use and hygiene. Additional environmental aspects in recent years are the impact of climate change, new knowledge about the effects of pharmaceuticals in water, the need for improved wastewater treatment and increased recycling of nutrients to agriculture. This report has, from a future scenario of the year 2050, analyzed seven different systems for wastewater treatment and treatment of compostable biowaste from households in Eskilstuna. A future scenario was chosen based on that within a forty year period new challenges may arise which can result in higher demands on sewage treatment than those we see today. Another reason why the future scenario was established is that changes in wastewater treatment systems are slow to establish. The analysis is mainly focused on the economical aspects but environmental aspects such as emissions to receiving waters and potential recycling of plant nutrients has also been evaluated briefly.

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om det finns någon skillnad i prestation beroende på om rekryteringstestet har en koppling mellan test och arbetsuppgifter och när denna koppling saknas. Ytterligare ett syfte var att undersöka om det finns något samband mellan en persons prestation och dennes uppfattning om testet. För att undersöka detta gjordes en enkätstudie. En enkät konstruerades som bestod av tre delar; den första delen beskrev ett rekryteringsscenario som deltagaren ombads sätta sig in i, den andra delen bestod av ett kognitivt test och den avslutande delen bestod av frågor angående hur rättvist deltagaren uppfattade testet. Resultatet visade att det inte fanns någon skillnad i prestation beroende på vilket scenario man tilldelats.

Fältet för användbarhetstestning är fullt av metoder, men av någon anledning är det en väldig brist på studier som jämför metoderna mot varandra och kontrollerar om dessa metoder, som utger sig för att generera samma typ av data, faktiskt är likvärdiga. Denna studie jämförde två användbarhetstestningsmetoder vid namn SUS och PSSUQ. Först jämfördes metodernas metamedelvärde med varandra för att se om det fanns signifikanta skillnader mellan metodernas rådata och sedan utökades analysen till att jämföra metodernas resultat med den normativa mall som respektive metod ger tillgång till. Dessa två olika jämförelser gjordes ett flertal gånger med olika antal försöksdeltagare vid varje iteration.Resultatet av studien visade att inga statistiskt signifikanta skillnader fanns mellan metodernas metavärde (värden transformerade till en skala mellan 0 och 100) och att inga statistiskt signifikanta skillnader hittades mellan dessa två mätinstrument då deras resultat jämfördes mot de normativa mallar som metoderna ger tillgång till, men även om inga statistiskt signifikanta skillnader hittades visar resultatet på en viss skillnad i hur ett system uppfattas beroende på vilken metod som används, vilket innebär att liknande studier borde genomföras..

The EU has had a special agreement with their former colonies in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific Islands, the ACP-countries, for almost 30 years. This has granted the ACPs with preferences on the Europen market, which have been excluded from other countries. The agreement is now beeing re-negotiated to make it more in terms with the rule of the WTO?s most favoured nation-principle. The new agreement will differ from the present one as it will be a mutual free trade agreement where the ACP countries will open their markets to the EU as much as the EU opens up it?s market to them.

I Sverige har debatten om brand i hallbyggnad pågått under en längre tid. Framförallt handlar debatten om möjligheter till oskyddade takbalkar av stål samt vilka verifieringsmetoder som ska vara tillämpningsbara.I denna studie har FDS-simuleringar utförts med olika scenarier där parametrar som bland annat bränsletyp, takhöjd och öppningsstorlekar har varierats. Dessa scenarier har jämförts och parametrarnas betydelse har analyserats. Fokus i denna studie har varit analys av temperaturerna i takbalkarna, men även utrymningssimuleringar har utförts i programmet Evac.

The purpose of the essay Multi criteria analysis of potential conflicts concerning land use planning - natural stone mining in Lysekil municipal is to study possibilities and limitations in GIS based multi criteria analysis as a tool for land use planning. How GIS based multi criteria analysis can be implemented to localize potential conflict areas between natural stone mining and other land use activities and what advantages and disadvantages the method holds are the main issues of this study. The essay studies these questions through a case study, concerning the geographical area of Lysekil municipal in western Sweden and problematizes the interest of natural stone mining in relation to other land use interests. A literature study was carried through, concerning multi criteria analysis and planning. After collecting and processing of data the multi criteria analysis could be implemented in the ArcGIS tool Weighted Sum.

The Aquatic Ape theory was first formulated by Alister Hardy in year 1960. All from the beginning the theory has been criticized, ridiculed, ignored and a source to strong feelings in the anthropological community. The purpose of this essay is to investigate why the Aquatic Ape theory is so controversial and why it is understood so differently by scientists. After interviews with Swedish scientists and the general community, and after reading of anthropological books, I have tried to show that the aquatic ape-coldness depends on it challenging nature against the anthropological paradigm, which describes human beings as strong, hunting creatures who can live in any environment. The Aquatic Ape theory - on the other hand - picks out one of all these environments and says: "here has our evolution occurred: we have been aquatic apes".
