Genom att kombinera vandrarhem med studentbostäder kan man göra det möjligt för studenter att spara pengar på sitt boende då de t ex åker till sin hemstad - över helg liksom sommar. Genom att lägga till studieytor och kontorshotell skapas en flexibel byggnad som ger och tar av varandras ytor beroende på tid, dag och månad.Synen på material har också spelat stor del i projektet. Vad händer med befintligt material då en byggnad ska transformeras? .

Changes are occurring in most organizations today and due to the fact that changes often are harder to implement than they seem, it often takes much longer time to implement them than the management have planned. During an organizational change theorist claim that communication between managers and employees is one of the most important things to consider. Therefore, in this essay, our aim is to closer investigate which needs of information and communication co-workers have during a planned organizational change. To collect data, we interviewed five co-workers and one manager who works in an organization which has gone through a major change. Our theoretical framework comprises former research of organizational communication, employee?s needs of communication, change communication and theories of uncertainty during organizational change.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att skildra hur några textilslöjdslärare arbetar med portfoliometoden i textilslöjden och hur de ser på sitt arbetssätt. Syftet är även att ta reda på vilka för- och nackdelar lärarnas ser med portfoliometoden, då den används i textilslöjden. Det finns väldigt lite litteratur om portfoliometoden i textilslöjden. Litteraturdelen består därför av en beskrivning av portfoliometoden utifrån basämnena. Examensarbetets undersökning baseras på intervjuer med fyra textilslöjdslärare.

The purpose of this study was to examine how food managers of Östergötland County disucss around their possibilities of reaching the government´s orientation towards 25 per cent of the food - procured, prepared and cooked in the school meal - coming from certified organic production. The study was a cross-sectional study in wich a qualitative approach was used. The sample consisted six food managers in Östergötland. Data processing was done through a semantic content analysis.  The result showed that involvment and intrest were significant factors for the introduction of organic food in the school meal. The three municipalities with the highest percentage of organic food used the SMART - concept.

Denna uppsats handlar om ledarskap och hur ledarskap bedrivs på distans.Studien fokuserar på det ledarskap som sker i bemanningsbranschen där konsultchefen leder bemanningskonsulter på distans. I det ledarskap som utövas finns även en påverkan utav en tredje part som går att finna i det kundföretag som hyr in konsulterna. Syftet med uppsatsen är att öka förståelsen för det ledarskap som uppkommer och utövas i bemanningsbranschen och att identifiera de problem som kan uppstå när ledarskapet sker på distans. Vi jämför också distansledarskapet med ett traditionellt ledarskap för att förstå på vilket sätt de skiljer sig i ledarskapets utövande. Slutligen är vårt syfte att få en inblick i hur ett distansledarskap i bemanningsbranschen påverkas när det även är en tredje part involverad..

The Swedish bank Handelsbanken has, according to their own way of measuring, been more successful than a weighted average of their competitors during the last 38 years. They have also handled the recent financial crisis, as well as the one in the 1990´s, better than most other banks. This paper studies their management control system at branch level in order to identify the controls which have been enforced to ensure that a low risk level is retained in the lending. The controls that have been identified are; (1) A decentralized organization with the offices as profit centers where the manager has restrictions regarding risk level and the results are measured as K/I (cost/revenue). (2) The absence of bonuses and individual follow-up regarding performance measurement.

Our purpose was to bring light over the healthaspect on the basis of these questions at issue: - To examine the employees experience of their own health at the socialoffice. - To examine different factors that affect the health at the place of work. - To examine if the experience of meaningfulness affects the health. In our work we have chosen questionnaires and then we have connected our results to two models that we found relevant to the investigation.

Detta kandidatarbete undersöker gröna tak i urban miljö. Gröna tak är i denna uppsats ett begrepp och samlingsnamn för vegetation på byggnaders tak i olika former. Trenden för gröna tak pekar uppåt, främst utomlands men även i Sverige. Emporia i Malmö som är ett av Skandinaviens största köpcentrum är byggt med ett så kallat grönt tak. Detta tak anlades dock på initiativ av byggherren och inte efter kommunens beslut.

In organizations today Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming a common means to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for their business. A successful CSR strategy has the potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.

The aim of this study is to contribute knowledge about how preschool teachers reason around their role in the work with children being maltreated. The study has been based on the following questions: How do the preschool teachers identify children being maltreated ? How do the preschool teachers act after they have identified a child thats being maltreated? What difficulties experienced preschool teachers based on their professional roles related to child maltreatment? The method used in the study is a focus group interview, which is a kind of informal group discussion. The result shows that there are difficulties in the preschool regarding the work with children being maltreated. Some of the difficulties that the preschool teachers raised was the contact with the guardians, society?s negative perception of the social services, that all the notifications must go through the pre-school manager and that they don?t have so much experience of notifications. .

I och med Landscape Urbanism har landskapsbegreppet sedan en tid upplevt en hausse inom arkitektur- och stadsbyggnadsdiskurs. I och med denna nya uppmärksamhet för landskapet har ett nytt behov uppstått: att diskutera vad som egentligen menas när man använder detta mångtydiga begrepp. Med detta fokus behandlar denna uppsats komplikationerna som uppstår när ordet landskap och dess ofta motstridiga betydelser används utan att kommunicera vad som avses. Med utgångspunkt i lingvistiska teorier hävdar jag därför att språket och således semantiken, ordens innebörd, är av yttersta vikt för att formulera och konstruera nya stadsbyggnadsteorier såsom Landscape Urbanism. För vad betyder egentligen Landscape inom Landscape Urbanism? Hur kommer det sig att ordet dels används för att referera till ytorna ?mellan husen?, men även används som ett begrepp som beskriver hela stadens dynamik? Hur kan dessa mycket olika tolkningar av ordet landskap existera under en och samma paroll ? Landscape Urbanism? Denna uppsats behandlar dessa olika tolkningar, men presenterar även ett sätt att hantera detta till synes alldagliga men mångfacetterade ord. This hermeneutic case study examines how and why an insurance company?s output has been affected by a CEO-succession. The authors pay specific attention to three activities; changes in personnel and organization structure, handling of media and change in customer focus. I have studied the suburban municipality of Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, from a rural perspective. Through that I`ve compared how countryside comes into being with the planning and building of suburbs. I have looked for a definition of Countryside, and found that it is often explained or defined in negative terms, as what it is not. In that it says nothing about what it really is, or about the qualitiies it has to it. Botkyrka is a suburb, but it does in large parts consist of countryside. Apart from defining countryside and rural I´ve been searching for a definition of suburbia, of it´s structure and the mental picture we have of it as a cultural phenomena. In order to understand the role that suburbs have in planning I describe their history from Italian renaissance villas to sprawl. By opposing urban and rural, modern urban planning and how rural areas are created, I´ve come to a definition of rural planning and the making of countryside. To make countryside, planning and building should come from individual needs and desires. A relationship to the surroundings based on continous interaction between the human beeing and it´s environment, a constant process of shaping and reshaping. To put my thoughts to the ground I have collected examples of projects and ideas, that fits into my view of what rural planning and making countryside is all about. They are put in different categories according to the possibilities of influence and to what degree it is put into private hands. The first category is ?allemansrätten?, every mans right. That is the rigt to use private land as long as you don´t disturb or destroy.
