AbstractPurpose:The purpose of the study is to describe the internationalization process of one firm when in a country culturally diverse from the firm?s original market.Methodology/approach:The study is a single case study which examines one firm?s internationalization process when entering the Chinese market. The approach has been an empiric interaction between empirical and theoretical data.Findings:The theory of the Uppsala model was applied to the case-company to test the model?s completeness. The authors found weaknesses and added three more aspects to the model.

Sociala plattformar har blivit allt viktigare för organisationer inom både extern som intern kommunikation. Allt fler organisationer inför sociala intranät som tillhandahåller anställda med verktyg för att dela kunskap och information, men även nya möjligheter att göra sin röst hörd (employee voice).Denna uppsats undersöker huruvida anställda vid Uppsala universitet använder lärosätets egenutvecklade sociala intranät (Medarbetarportalen) för att uttrycka employee voice inom fyra kategorier: individuellt missnöje, kollektiv organisation, beslutsfattande inom ledningen och ömsesidighet i intressen.Studien genomfördes i två delar, först en intervju med den enhet på universitet som ansvarar för införandet av deras sociala intranät och sedan en enkätundersökning riktad mot anställda vid universitetet. Vår studie visar att inom Uppsala universitet finns det väldigt lite empiriskt stöd för att anställda använder universitetets egenutvecklade sociala intranät för att uttrycka employee voice..

The purpose of the essay has been to examine representations of immigrants in contemporary library and information science research in a Scandinavian context. By analyzing nine articles from the past decade we examine the perceptions that exist in the concepts of multiculturalism, culture, race, ethnicity, religion, gender and whiteness and what role and importance the library as a place is assigned in relation to immigrants as a user group. Our study consists of a qualitative text analysis, a critical oriented close reading method based on critical race and whiteness studies and intersectional theory. We have, with the help of Sara Ahmed´s theories of hegemonic whiteness, demonstrated how multiculturalism is partly presented as something desirable and good, partly as something potentially threatening.The discourse of multiculturalism can be said to express the notions of the other, which in the source material manifests itself by ascribing otherness to immigrants. We have, for example, examined how ethnical and cultural differences are highlighted by a separation of East and West, the library?s educational and assisting role in relation to immigrants as a user group as well as representations of whiteness, gender and clothes.

The aim of this thesis is to mediate to the reader an image of Chinese classification systems and in what way the methods of classification have progressed during time. The tradition of classification in China is very old and dates back more than two thousand years, but it wasnt until the downfall of the dynastic era in the beginning of the 20th century, that Chinese libraries and methods of classification were modernized. This thesis also identifies the development of Chinese librarianship which is of old age since Chinese literature stretches three thousand years back. The main question is in what way the values of three different philosophies are reflected in five classification systems compiled between 1953-1975. The three philosophies are Daoism, Confucianism and Maoism/Mao Zedong Thought.

For a long period of time there has been an extensive documentation of how things are presumed not to be at our workplace. However there is little knowledge on how it is supposed to be, what makes us feel good and what makes us retain our well-being. The aim of this study was to survey the attitudes towards factors of well-being at the workplace among personnel at four institutions at Kristianstad University. The work method used in this study is quantitative and a questionnaire survey was carried out to produce an overall picture. The majority considered praise from manager and the opportunity of development discussions of great importance.

Syfte:Syftet var att utvärdera ambulanspersonalens erfarenheter, upplevelser och åsikter om vårdprogrammet med Netcell Nasal Pack vid prehospitala näsblödningar, samt undersöka vilka förbättringsmöjligheter som kunde finnas gällande vårdprogrammet.Metod: Empirisk studie med kvalitativ metod, där semi-strukturerade intervjuer utfördes med sex ambulanssjuksköterskor.Resultat: Som helhet uppfattades vårdprogrammet som positivt och goda resultat hade uppnåtts vid användningen av detta. Den största vinsten ansågs vara att kunna vårda patienten i hemmet med den nasala tamponaden. Tamponadens form ansågs grov och hård av ambulanspersonalen. Flera sjuksköterskor uttryckte oro inför användningen, men upplevde att det gick bättre än förväntat. Mer praktisk utbildning önskas av majoriteten.

Vi har valt att göra en kvalitativ studie som omfattar intervjuer med fyra förskollärare samt fyra specialpedagoger. Vi har även genomfört en kvantitativ studie i form av en enkät som har besvarats av förskollärare i Uppsala Kommun.Syftet med studien är att få en förståelse för hur förskollärare och specialpedagoger använder sig av visuellt och multimodalt pedagogiskt stödmaterial i dagens förskoleverksamhet i Uppsala kommun. Vi vill även få en ökad förståelse för hur samarbetet mellan professionsgränserna fungerar.Studiens resultat visar på att både förskollärare och specialpedagoger anser att arbetet med visuellt och multimodalt pedagogiskt stödmaterial har en stor betydelse för barn i behov av särskilt stöd. Många förskollärare idag använder sig av Ipad och olika bildmaterial i verksamheten och ser det som ett positivt stödmaterial. Specialpedagogerna instämmer med förskollärarna men anser att det ska finnas ett pedagogiskt syfte i arbetet med Ipads.

When a person arrives at the emergency ward at the Uppsala University Hospital with his or her symptoms he or she explains the problems and then a priority process starts. The staff evaluate at which emergency level the patient is located in a model called Triage. The Triage model helps to decide the priority need and is based upon templates which point out in which of the 5 categories a patient is to be placed, to eliminate any future risk regarding his or her health. A lower triage level means lower priority but implies better health when the evaluation takes place. To obtain optimal effect of the Triage model the evaluation of symptoms must be reproducible so that patients with the same symptoms are placed at the same triage level regardless of whom among the staff conducts the evaluation. The purpose of the study was to see if the resources are allocated based on priority level of the patients.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to illustrate the public librarian. People in general, including library users and leading personalities in the field of culture in the communities do not know the tasks of the public librarian. We presume that the vague picture of duties of the public librarian might cause problems. In this dissertation we mean to examine only public librarians, hereby we exclude for example, university- and company librarians. The sentences of this thesis are: How are the public librarians viewed, in meaning of, tasks, role/-s, comptetence/-s, status and image? And can we call it a "profession" in the classical sense? We answer these questions by using relevant literature, interviews and conference paper.

På marknadsplatsen får de direkt kundkontakt med kunden, vilket öppnar upp för nya försäljningskanaler och ger producenten chansen att få feedback på sina produkter. Classification systems express an idea of the world as it was when the systems was made. If the classification system is not revised there is a possibility that the system will become antique and hard to apply to different subjects. The purpose of this study is to see if the SAB-system is a classification system which shows a reflection of the subject Religion that is equivalent with that of Swedish universities. The ideas which are behind the classification of the subject religion in the SAB-system have been analysed, as well as the structuring of the scientific discipline Religion at the universities. The result will show if the SAB-system can classify the subject religion in a satisfying way at university libraries.
